Front desk lady didn't understand stand what I'm trying to explain keep tryna charge me when my insurance covers my visit

Streamlined, check-in, packets of tissues for patients, bottles of water and a coffee maker in the waiting room. Privacy policy attached to the clipboard so you don't have to ask for it! Very professional Front Desk staff with at least two languages, English and Spanish, fluency. Professional, medical assistant, very knowledgeable doctor. Exam room is very clean with exception of the floors, but we came literally 25 minutes before they closed. And, best yet, they were still accepting walk-ins up to their stated business hours on the front door, which was not true of other nearby urgent care centers. read more

Since my original post in 2023 I've been back here for myself and family members. I have a great primary DR but during off hours you are limited to Urgent care places or Hospital ER. Most recently felt really sick-too sick for cold and it was a late Friday. I was tested positive for flu. Place was packed but I was treated reasonable amount of time, given instructions, RX and sick note for work. I still rate this place highly. read more

I'm actually reporting them to the state for denying care. They should both be asking for deductibles up front when it hasn't g in a through billing first. They are turning patients away if they do not have the deductible and that is unacceptable. read more

My Husband's Dr told him to either go to er or urgent care due to his chest pain while at rest. This place told him he would have about a 3 hr wait before he was seen! We left. Took him to trinity er. He was seen within 3 minutes. read more

We come to this facility to be taken care of when sick and would just appreciate some compassion from the staff when it come to certain request which I do not think was unreasonable (lower the TV volume down). read more

I don't know why, but reception ladies give every visitor an attitude. Idk what about their job is so dissatisfying for them, but it is not pleasant to see their faces again (especially considering that medical services are not cheap at all, in general). They could have just smiled and helped. read more

I would never return to AFC urgent care Macdade, firstly because they charged me upfront when I already had 2 insurances. They refused to take one of my insurance cards, also gave me misinformation on billing. It took multiple times & many frustrating phone calls to rectify the situation & finally get a refund. Office staff was not accommodating. read more

Dont come here! I called prior to coming to ask them if they could treat me. I was told yes. The front desk female sat on the phone for 15+ minutes complaining about the job while I stood in the front waiting for my question to be answered. Got to the back the Dr did nothing for me regardless or them billing my insurance and me paying a co pay. Your better off going to your local emergency room because they'll take your money and won't treat you. read more

Diane was the most unprofessional health care worker I've met. She tried to lock people out because she wanted to leave asap. We had a bad sprained ankle and she assumed it was broken and said it was stupid of us to come there because they can't do anything for it. We sat in the exam room for well over 30 minutes waiting for the doc to come back and tell us we needed X-rays and then another 15 minutes for Diane to take the images (all while telling us how stupid it was we came here). We also had people who came in after us get seen before us. We were the last ones out by over 30 minutes. (Note: this was late August, not super recently). Still greatly disappointed by this. I fully think this would get 5 stars if Diane did not work there. read more

No stars . I've been waiting 1 1/2 hours now with no end in sight. There were only 5 people ahead of us! Avoid this urgent care at all costs. I should've stuck with Patient First in Springfield where we've always got prompt attention. This is what I get for trying someplace closer to home. read more

Horrible service But nice people just the same. As soon as I came in the 1st question I asked was how long is the wait. They told me 30 to 45 minutes and I said OK I can live with that. Sat there for an hour and a 1/2 before they stuck me in a room in the back which I then proceeded to sit there for another 45 minutes until threatening to walk out until I did. I came in with extreme backspasms could barely move shot in that waiting room in pain forever. All for them just to tell me that they wanna give me an X-ray why I don't know. Probably because I have insurance and they just wanted to charge it up. For the pain they wanted to give me Tylenol. I have Tylenol at home I'm not spending a $100 for you to tell me that I need Tylenol and wait over 3 hours for you to give me that answer. So if you're going into this place and you wanna know how long it is and they say 45 minutes be prepared to stay there for emergency room times. Thanks for nothing read more

Saw negative reviews. Only thing I can say is wait time is dependent on how many patients and what is wrong. You don't want your treat/evaluation rushed cause they have a line. Hospital ER can wait half a day and get charged thousand dollars. Primary DRS appts sometimes two months. That is why there are urgent care. My experience reflects this. Terrible pain over Memorial day weekend. Knew primary wouldn't be available and no ER for reasons mentioned above. Went here AFC Ridley. Only one person ahead of me so was seen in 10 minutes. I realized if lot of people it would take lot longer. Staff very nice, coffee/ tea machine in lobby-free. Saw DR Dang, good exam, good questions. Was not "sold" an Xray. I asked if they did them on premise-they did and I got results before I left. Also walked out with four RX for my condition. Told to follow up with primary. Given X-Ray report and Disk of Xrays. When wife and I left, waiting area filled up. Was lucky. read more

Always in and out within an hour whenever I come here. Everyone here is super pleasant !

No waiting had ear wax removed would definitely go back if I had to was out in 20 minutes everyone was very professional

I was in and out the people were great it was clean and the Dr was Great. Way better than the hospital

If you plan on doing anything else with your day DO NOT come here. The wait is horrid and the people are not helpful. Called ahead to a 45 minute wait and once there, proceeded to wait 2 hours before being helped. Never again. 0/10 read more

once again, another urgent care against long wait... sat here for 30 minutes "filling out a form" while everyone is sitting and talking, you have a better chance of going to the emergency room. read more
