I would like to start by saying this is not directed at any of the dental assistants i have worked with over the years I have been a patient at the Rochester MN. location. They were always extremely helpful with scheduling and very polite and kind. I started my my implant journey in 2019 . I was told that most of my top teeth were bad and i was a perfect candidate for dental implants. So i spent the 11k and got implants. And since 2019 it has been an absolute disaster. I broke my first plate within the first year of having implants. I thought " well that could happen no biggie see how it goes". shortly after that i had an implant fall out. So since 2019 i have broke 6 denture implant plates and out of 5 implant posts 2 are left in my mouth . 3 have fallen out/ pushed out etc. When they sell you on this process they tell you it's a lifetime warranty on everything what they don't tell you is when the dentist decides to sell his practice to another dentist the buyer doesn't have to stand behind the lifetime warranty. It's a scam and a terribly cheap product. To my knowledge the rochester location has changed hands at least 3 times since 2019. so the warranty means nothing . I have been in business for myself as a small business owner for almost 30 years, successfully i might add. And i have never felt so financially or emotionally assaulted or embarrassed for doing business with an organization that knows their selling a bad product and they are taking advantage of people that just want a nice smile. Since i quit doing business at affordable dentures i have established care at a local dentist and they have straighten up what they could with helping me with good quality dentures . I no longer use my implants. I have been putting off writing this review for some time probably just avoiding the negative feeling it gives me to write it. But after last night when my 3rd implant pushed its way out i thought it was time. If i can save someone else from the anguish and horrible experience i had it's worth it to write the review . I would have been better off taking that 11,000 dollars and donating it to a respectable charity . And there was also around another 5,000 dollars for additional plates that i had to purchase because of the business getting sold to other dentist that didn't want to cover the LIFETIME warranty that really doesn't exist. Very frustrated! Husband got a partial plate and things went ok with that. The partial never did fit exactly right, but he made do. He has since broken off another tooth and is a nightmare trying to get someone to return a call. After many, many calls and leaving several messages, someone finally answered the phone. We were informed that they did not have anyone on staff at this time and would not have anyone there until mid June (2 months). They gave me their first appointment, which was June 12. We are gone on vacation that week, so tried to call back to reschedule. Once again, I have called several times and left numerous messages to try to get this appointment moved and cannot get anyone to answer the phone or return my call. They gave me the option of going to West St. Paul to see someone at that location, but that is COMPLETELY inconvenient to think we are going to run over an hour and a half each way for multiple appointments. Definitely would NOT recommend Affordable Dentures to anyone! read more

I am shocked at the lack of professionalism and integrity. He wanted $6,300 up front. 18 months later I have nothing to show for it except an upper denture I find hideous, a TEMPORARY lower denture held together by GORILLA GLUE he refuses to fix- AND THREE FAILED IMPLANTS. (Word to the wise, they use STUDENTS to make your dentures...) He told me he guaranteed his implant surgery 100%. I said really? To which he replied- OKAY 98%... HE COULD BARELY GET HIS EGO OUT OF THE ROOM. Their guarantee is 100 visits to correct any problems, or until you're happy... when I said I wasn't happy and I wanted my money back, I was told NO. Last week I drove 7 hours to make his appointment and I waited an hour and 15 minutes. I found out I never even had an appointment. They just wanted to see if I would drive all that way so they could mock me. That was the second time they did that to me. I once drove 7 hours so he could look me in the eye and say- "WE DO THIS MY WAY, GOT IT?" Stupid me, I should have known I had no say in how my upper denture looked. Today he told me to never call him again, and if I wanted to know something about my case, to speak to the receptionist. Last I checked she wasn't a dentist. THIS IS GROSS NEGLIGENCE. HIS FAILED IMPLANT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM MY JAW... and he threw me away like trash! How can someone who took an oath to do no harm behave like this? And why does the corporate office allow it? I mean who did they turn down??? I was EXPLOITED, ABUSED, ABANDONED, and BROKEN. This company has a history of employing dentists who run out on their practices after pocketing upfront money from elderly patients. (I found this out from a dental assistant who was working for them at the time.) Before I met this guy, affordable dentures in Sioux City and the affordable dentures in Sioux Falls found themselves without dentists- and their patients without money or services. Made my husband write a check for full amount while he was laying in the chair with his mouth full of gauze before beginning the procedure. Never contacted him back to finish work and when he would try to call to speak to the Dr. he was told her was busy every time. Later found out that the business had changed Doctors. Went in to find out my options , referred to prices which were posted online and they laughed!!! After x-rays Dr. Gave his opinion and we agreed to proceed, they asked me to pay in full right now , I asked, you mean right this instant ? Yes , had me writing a check on my leg with gauze stuffed in my mouth . Told me to come back in three hours and I did , BP was 170/100 but they did procedure anyway , pulling four teeth , after injections I became sick and passed out , as I passed out I was wondering if they had a crash cart available, when I came to they were done , Dr. Came in stuffed some temp teeth in my mouth and said goodbye , they escorted me to the door and locked it behind me , I could barley walked felt doped up and should not have gotten in my car . That was 5 months ago and I haven't heard a word from them !!!! I called two times in the last 5 months and they act like they owe me nothing and don't know why I'm calling , I paid $3200.00 to extract 4 teeth and get a upper and lower partial , I have nothing but a temporary lower !!!! When I call they ask me , what do you want ? I want what I paid for !!! I get no response. Looks like now I will need a judge to help. I suggest going elsewhere. read more

I needed to have a tooth extracted. I got a price from Affordable Dentures and had the work done. I am getting dentures but not from them, I have had a partial from them before and they never fit right and they wouldn't fix it. After having my tooth pulled my bill was over $100 more than my original quote. The reason they gave me was that there was an "up charge" for the extraction because I wasn't buying my dentures from them!! Not a single mention of this charge when I made my appt. and they knew full well I wasn't doing dentures with them again. I would never recommend this company, the dentures I bought previously were ill fitting and hurt and they couldn't have cared less! It's a Chomp Shop to say the least. I had 20 teeth extracted and it took them 4 hours to complete what they said would take 40 minutes. It was like a secret filming of Saw IV. They finished the work, slapped a set of poorly made dentures in my mouth with no gauze or anything and sent me on my way to fend for myself with a pain killer and some mouth rinse. They gave me a 10 mg valum for the procedure and what felt like about 60 shots of Novocain. He had worked so long on other patients by the time he got to me and had removed my bottom teeth, the Novocain had wore off when he went to pull the first eye tooth which resulted in 10 more shots. When it was all over he said the extractions were interesting and fun. Wasn't to fun for me, really it wasn't. When I get home I have an ice wrap around my face 30min on/ 30 off for a week. The blood is oozing out the sides of the dentures which they call "the bandages" and I have to clean them and rinse. My wife picked me up some gauze pads and I used them in strips inside my poorly made teeth so I had a bandage to change out. Perhaps I should pass this simple procedure on to the dentist? I had to go back a week later and have them adjusted so they pulled out the hand dremel tool and went to work. They fit so badly that I went and purchased my own dremel tool and finished the job. You see it's all about how quickly they move you through the system, not how well the jobs done from what I can tell. As my gums started healing and the poorly made teeth fit worse and worse and rub against my gums and cause sores, I re-work them with my dremel so I can keep them in my mouth while working. So I spend 6 weeks healing before I can go back for a re-fit. I guess I should have had them spell out "Re-Fit". I have an appointment set for 10:30 am today. I get there and sit there an hour when I"m called back by a gal named Shawna. I tell here whats going on. She asks me to hand her my teeth which I do. She fills them full of some quick setting rubber like we used to use on Creepy Crawlers, and asks me to put them in my mouth. I told her they were cutting into my upper gums and I can't push them in any farther because it hurts, so she pushes them in for me and cuts into my gums anyway and tells me to bite down. She comes back 10 minutes later and pulls them out and disappears again. When she returns she explains to me that this is soft rubber and I'm not to put my dentures in any type of cleaner or brush against it as it will wear out. I was thinking " how do I clean these"? "What about food particles"? Then she puts them in my mouth and I thought I had buck teeth. I could have eaten an ear of corn through a picket fence with her artwork. I tell her I can't talk and my teeth are sticking out. I tell her they are way to thick on the roof of my mouth and greatly affecting my speech and I'm a professional I need to be able to communicate with people. She says this is the best she can do until I get my next hard set at 6 months. I have been working in Ohio and flew back for this Elite Affordable Dentures Service they call a Re-Fit. When I ask her to remove the rubber I will live with what I have, she tells me to remove it myself she has other patients to attend to. I was so angry I pulled it out, threw it on her table and walked out before I created a huge scene. My wife could see when I came out I was wild. I tell her what happened and she calls back and talks to the secretary who was very empathetic and helpful and apologized. She also gave us the Regional managers phone number Tim McNiel and said we should call him as this is not the first incident with Shawna and her lack of customer care has yet to be addressed. I reached Tim and he was rather unconcerned with the issue and told us to call 1-800-denture and it would make it back around to him eventually. I called the number and it did not work. So we called back to the office and got the number from the secretary and made the call. The complaint was heard by a standard operator and I was told her supervisor would get back to me. It's been 4 hours and no call yet. It's just about the end of the day on a Friday so I don't expect to hear from them before I go back to Ohio to work next week. I intend to follow this as far as necessary to reach a satisfactory result. Had I known this was such a complete Chomp Shop, I would have spent more money and went to some pro's for the procedure. When you have dentures, it's important to find someone whom actually cares how they fit and rather or not you can use them, that would NOT be Affordable Dentures in Rochester. The secretary was great and so was the gal who worked with the Dentist who pulled my teeth, I wouldn't give a quarter for the rest of the crew. Prior to my visit to Affordable Dentures in Rochester, Mn. I tried to find some reviews but had no luck, so here is mine. I had considered going to Mexico to have my teeth, mouth, repaired but was concerned about follow up care, being from Wisconsin. My first visit consisted of the cone ex-ray and a consultation. I had several abscesses, cavities, bone loss, and loose teeth. I had been dealing withe the pain of periodontal disease too long, and biting and chewing was very difficult. Needless to say I didn't want to smile much and I was concerned about what the poor condition of my mouth was doing to the rest of my system. Craig Mrosak was up front with what should be done, and I agreed. He was also up front about the cost, which ended up exactly what he told me. While in the waiting room I asked other patients what they thought of the care they received and heard only positive remarks. Now I'm not going to tell you that it was an enjoyable experience, having 22 teeth removed, and four lower implants installed, all in a matter of a few hours, however, it needed to be done. Craig did everything he could to help me avoid any discomfort, short of putting me under, which they don't do. When I left the his office I had new temporary upper and lower temporary dentures and was very punchy from the pain meds but still with it. So now its been 6 months since I was there originally, have been back a couple times to have my dentures adjusted. I'll have to admit, it feels kind of strange not being gouged as I believe many dental practices do. Was there yesterday and Craig and his excellent staff redid my upper and lower to help make my smile and my bite be more spot on. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is they don't put you under for your procedure. read more
