I thought that I was going to have to have a root canal done, but Dr. Keenen was able to do it without the root canal. I have always been leery of the anesthetic injections, but can honestly say that out of the 4 injections that I recieved I felt slight pressure for about 2 seconds on ONE of them.. which is 99.9% better than any other time that I've had them. Dr. Keenen was also able to make my crown in-office, so I was in-and-out from beginning to end in about 2.5hrs. The staff is kind, the office and rooms are comforting, and I literally have nothing bad to say about the entire experience!

I needed a tooth pulled badly and was terrified of the IV sedation, as I'm so not good with needles. I was so desperate in pain for weeks trying to find a place that could do the extraction quickly and would take my insurance. Exo Dental got me in next day!!! The staff could probably tell how anxious I was, from the front staff to the nurses to Dr. McDonald, I was only met with exceptional care. I told them how nervous I was about the IV and Dr. McDonald assured me they could even do the extraction with just laughing gas. I was so relieved, and the extraction took literally 2 seconds and I didn't feel a thing. I was stunned, I've never been met with such great and personalized care from a dentist office before. The entire extraction appointment maybe took 1 hour, but the actual dental work took less than 1 minute. I couldn't believe an appointment I was terrified of coming to, I found myself extremely calm and even laughing with the nurses during the appointment. I wish they did regular cleanings because this would be the only place I would go for dental care! Thank you guys again. Truly amazing service. I would recommend everyone to go here.

He did apologize but then refused to let me keep the appointment since I wouldn't be back after the appointment. He ended up his comments saying he understood I was new to the area and thought he was being nice by saying welcome to the area. My reply was that it didn't feel very welcoming. His tone and demeanor turned and his retort was not nice and very condescending. I chose to not further the conversation, but I would not recommend this practice if the Office Manager exhibits such an attitude to a new person in town and someone who would have been a potential client. Very poor treatment from my perspective and I am 72. I've been to many dentists' and doctors' offices in my lifetime, and this was one of the rudest to date.

Less than a year later I had extreme pain, and I went back and was told I needed an additional root canal on the tooth next to it. I got a second opinion, and in fact I DID NOT need a root canal on that tooth (which he was going to charge $1500 additional for), I needed his work redone! I went to dr Black's office and the answer I got from the manager (after I had to walk in and meet her face to face to make her talk to me) was hands in the air "sometimes a root canal fails". They also referred me to a specialist who confirmed the 2nd opinion, who was a brand new 23 year old dentist by the way! That the tooth Dr Black said needed a root canal on did not. And his work needed to be redone, and was severely infected!!! His words were " The good news is, there's not permanent damage, but you are right on the cusp of it." If I would have trusted Dr black, like I should be able to, I would have been out several thousand more than the THOUSANDS I am already out, and had permanent damage. DO NOT go to him!!!!!!!!!! I have reported him to the board!!! He's a crook....

After an accident I went to Pinnacle Hills Dental group and Dr. Stringfellow told me he could repair my damage and repair my bite and other teeth. Now I have a beautiful smile I am proud of. I asked the lady at the desk if I could talk to the dentist as I did not understand about filling cavities as it was not clearly articulated while I was in the chair. I asked for her to call me. I never heard from the dentist. I found a new dentist and did not mention anything from this office and my new dentist said my teeth are perfect with no issues. Pinnacle Dental Group looks for every opportunity to make money, even with those who have great teeth. I would get a second opinion if anything concerns you on what they tell you needs to be done.
