Ben is honest as they come and very knowledgeable. My basement was leaking and I had health concerns regarding it. The first two places tried to sell me a huge job to dig trenches all along the perimeter and put drains it. Ben immediately told me that wasn't the source of the issue. It was rod holes and a crack in the walls that was letting some moisture in. I had to convince him to quote me a larger job, which he did do (just to be safe) and he was still the cheapest quote from the bunch. I chose him not because of the price (although he was the cheapest) but because he was the most knowledgeable and was not trying to sell me up. To the contrary he was talking me out of the job. It took longer then expected but I'm not upset about that since they seemed to have done a thorough job and were very attentive when I pointed out areas I wanted addressed. They live up to their name sake. The operation is smooth and timely from end-to-end. This is the second time I have used their services. The first time was five years ago in one area of my basement with groundwater leaking in (heavy snow-melt). Since they did their job, that part of my basement is dry as a bone. The Manager that owns the business is very rude he performed the estimate on my house prior to me buying it because there was leaking in the basement and the work was to be completed by sellers. They replaced the interior drain tiles but apparently that was not the issue because water is still leaking in my basement. So I called them and Ben ,I believe his name was the crew worker,was extremely nice acknowledged that they missed this issue and it was an easy fix but he had to run it by the manager. So I made several appointments with the manager that didn't show up or even call to cancel the first two times. When he came he was very rude to me from the time he walked in to the house telling me it was from mulching and the ground level which I didn't understand because nothing had changed from when he did his estimate I just moved in and didn't do any mulching. Then he tells me you are not understanding what I'm saying and I'm am going to walk away and says "when you go to a doctor you don't tell the doctor what's hurting you don't just say your sick" WTF so he was basically telling me I needed to tell him the the professional where the leak was coming from. Then he drove off and left. I called the company back and the lady I complained to said that he was the owner of the company and needs to retire she said he has been hard to work with lately.
