I called this company to have a replacement key made for my vehicle. The technician spent more than two hours trying to program the key but was unable to get it working. My one-year-old car still would not start, and he blamed my car, which had never had any issue before I lost my key. Despite not completing the job, he insisted that I pay him anyway, saying he had "done what I asked him to do." I explained that I would pay once the replacement key was working, because i obviously needed to start my car. At that point, he left, claiming I refused to pay. Before leaving, he took the keyhole cover from my driver's door. When I later contacted him and asked him to return it, he responded by threatening to make retaliatory phone calls about my dogs, which had nothing to do with the service, nor were there any issues so I don't understand the comment. Based on my experience, the replacement key was never successfully programmed, my vehicle remained inoperable, and the interaction became unprofessional. I cannot recommend this service. I was routed to this business after I called another service for help on a Friday night. I gave plenty of time for the matter to be resolved, and after no response, I reported this company to the Better Business Bureau. 2/2/24 @ 6:55 PM: E.A. Locksmith was the dispatch number called initially from Google search, then sent to Affordable Lock and Safe LLC (Joshua Biscamp) for the service requested. Josh quoted job over the phone for $150.00 after I sent pictures he requested via text. Time quoted was 45 minutes, but Josh didn't arrive until 2 hr. 15 min later @ 9:33 PM. Lock that was put on was cheap and scratched. $605.12 was the total after Josh and his helper. SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS! I never even paid that for the condenser that went out on my AC unit! When asked why the price was so high, I was told "the fire marshal requires both locks to be changed". If this is true, this should have been quoted in the original price. I have called the original service, E.A. Locksmith, 9 times since the day after service (2/3/24) to rectify the situation. I get different people each time and one, hung up on me 4 times. The amount charged was completely unwarranted. I was quoted $150.00 and in fairness, fully understood if the amount was $200.00 or even $250.00, but $605.12 is absolute robbery! I am seeking a refund for the amount charged OVER the quoted price. $455.12 is what I was charged OVER the quoted price. Invoice attached plus photos from the night of service and the "new" lock the day after service when it was light out. DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! In February 2023 I paid this company $8,400.00 for a new electric door motor. The door worked for 6 months then stopped working. I reached out to Josh, who I believe is the owner. He then proceeded to play me for the next 10 months. I knew my door motor was under warranty so I was relentless in contacting him. I had my daugher call him daily as well to see when he was going to come out. Majority of the time we were ignored. Incrediably poor customer service. I have been in business for 34 years, and believe in most people that they will do the right thing, but this man and company was given MORE than enough time to fix the door! So angry over this situation! Stay FAR AWAY from this clown!! If this would let me do zero stars I would have given that! read more

Josh is a liar and a thief. He was contracted by AAA to make a fob for our stolen car. I was quoted $100 over what AAA was already paying. Quote of $100 was made by AAA REP. He said he needed to make 2 keys for this particular car and he charged me $300 more CASH! This was after he already started making the fob. But later spoke to the Nissan Dealer said he absolutely DID NOT need to make 2 fobs. He also insisted on cash. No credit card, no venmo. Later learned AAA paid him by credit card. I made a complaint to AAA which I will continue to pursue since they were the ones who contracted him to do the work. read more

I spent over $100 to have a transponder key cut and programmed for my truck and it works in ignition but not on door. I basically have a key that won't work and they don't seem to care much about it. I went to Home Depot and they cut a key that works perfectly for a fraction of the cost and were a lot friendlier. read more
