He covered our furniture and floor each day and then removed protective supplies each afternoon before departing so we could continue using our living room as normal. He painted our brick fireplace, repaired water damage on our ceiling, patched and repainted the living room ceiling along with our kitchen ceiling which had cracks from the house settling over the years. Anyway, Eric came out, gave us a reasonable estimate and ultimately, a reasonable price! He repaired the drywall and painted the ENTIRE wall, matching the paint color perfectly! He attempted to fix it a couple of times but it only got worse. After what I know now, it's a blessing in disguise that he has not returned my calls/texts.

Painting... OK, Drywall... NOT…read more Angela and Sal of AG Renovations seemed like two nice people but with misaligned business priorities. They contracted to install drywall to finish grade and paint. I stressed the need for high attention to detail and they said they had it covered. Great right? I guess my first clue was when I had to remind them to get (and use) corner bead, but I trusted them. After all the had it covered! Later I came home after they finished in a rush (and failed to clean up) and the paint job looked good. Later, on closer inspection, the underlying drywall work revealed itself: -No inside corner tape used -Missed three outside corner beads -Jagged and lumpy work around outside of outlets, like it was smashed into place - Butt seams too thin, or uneven or some even cracked....24 hrs later Came back upon request but made only a half-hearted attempt to rework the problem areas. I've got photos of how they left it if you want them. I ended up re-doing about half of those items. Overall a disappointing experience given their promises. Next time I'll know to get a common understanding of finish quality (like ASTM Level ). It's obvious their understanding of a job well done is less than most peoples' . They left it at about ASTM 0 or 1 and never returned my calls. Steer clear of their drywall work :(

In the messages before confirming everything, I let him know I had high ceilings and also sent pix for reference. Now, I definitely understand that it can be hard to tell the scope of a job off of a photo but I did let him know that it had high ceilings. So here's the issue with that - we agreed to one price and when he got here to paint I guess it was way bigger than he understood and asked if I'd be okay with adding $100 to the job. I was taken aback a bit because my budget wasn't to exceed a certain amount, but I needed to get the area painted. While he was here, he had to go to the hardware store twice. One trip - fine, but two is a little confusing because I would think everything needed would have been brought and/or bought the first time. The whole job took about 3-4 hours and initially I was happy with the work. Really, the job looked like it was done well and he offered to put two coats on but I declined as it was getting late. But as I began to put more things away and look closer, I saw light patches of wall that weren't fully covered, paint on trim, dried droplets above entryways, and the section of my window panes was left unpainted. I know painting is a daunting task, especially for high walls, but for the price I paid finding these things was really disappointing.

All of my phone calls were either answered directly by Bubba or I had a call back within the hour. Bubba and his crew, wife Michelle, son Cody and sister-in-law showed up onetime, 8:30, every morning and at the end of every day cleaned up, put back all of our furnishings back, until the next day.
