Asked him about his experience, his time working with this company, based on his responses, we felt he was experienced and qualified. We asked him how he was paid, he said the banks pay him. After going over all our paperwork, he told us he could give us a rate of 2.62% for 30 years plus title and escrow. He said it was the lowest rate he had seen and not only double checked it, but checked it two more times because he told us he had made a mistake with another client. We agreed on the terms, he then said in order to begin to lock it in, he'd have to pull our credit, we said ok, he did. He told us he'd finish up the paperwork and send via DocuSign. Next day we hadn't received the paperwork so we contacted him. He told us he didn't have time to lock in our promised rate (we left his office at 12:30 pm) AND that he made a mistake. Then went on telling us what a horrible day he was having that day (our appt was at 11am), really?? But now get this!!! He said that he needed us to pay him $1,000 in order to give us the terms we were promised!!! We were absolutely shocked at his underhandedness and reminded him that he had told us that the banks pay him. He later LIED and said in an email "You were informed up front before being disclosed a Loan Estimate, that the rate was not 2.62%. That was an out and out LIE!!! ZERO integrity, steer clear!!
