I called 1-800-ALLSTATE and was informed by the representative that I needed to speak with my insurance agent. So, the following day I went to speak with Ivan Davies, but was only able to speak with his pig-headed "office manager," Mary Jo. She told me that I was never supposed to be approved, and that there was absolutely nothing that she could do for me because I filed my policy over the phone instead of in the office with an agent. Are you kidding me? For two weeks I made phone calls trying to get my questions answered about why my policy was being terminated and I got absolutely nowhere. Every time I tried calling 1-800-ALLSTATE, I kept getting forwarded to the Davies office, who made it clear that they could not help me. I received three more cancellation notices in the mail asking for the final coverage payment, even though I was supposed to be covered until November (a month and a half way), due to their supposed mistake in approving me as a customer. Eventually, I attempted to pay this balance, but every representative I spoke to stated that my policy had already been terminated, meaning that I technically no longer had coverage. At this point I had enough and I could not stand another month with these idiots. So, I finally made an appointment to speak with Ivan Davies personally, my actual "insurance agent" who I had never seen or spoken to at all regarding my issue throughout my time with this company. I will tell you what, I have never been so disrespected by a man in my entire life! Ivan Davies was rude and chauvinistic, and completely denied all of the statements I made about the issues I have had while being insured through the company. I explained that I had been given the run around for a month and a half, which he denied; and he also denied the fact that his retarded office manager told me that she could not help me. I hope that anyone inquiring about insurance avoids Allstate completely! Their sense of accountability is non-existent, their representatives and agents don't know what the hell they are doing, and they're extremely condescending towards their customers. Amount other things, not answering her phone or returning phone calls promptly (my husband called at 4:30 and they close at 5) we cancelled our insurance on February 7th by email. Lindsey never sent the proper cancellation documents for us to sign and our credit card was charged a month later. After my husband got so frustrated dealing with her I took over. I called at 8:35 and asked the proper document be sent to us. At 12:00 it had not been sent, I called again and requested it be sent again. She said she needed a copy of my new policy which i sent. Still and hour later no document so I called another agent Sara, who was excellent help and forwarded the document in 5 minutes. Wish we had dealt with Sara all along!!
