My driver Landon was prompt and kind, loaded my bags right into the back, and chatted with me about the area for the first 10 minutes or so of the ride. After our chat died down I put on my headphones for the rest of the drive, and he made sure to get my attention as we approached the airport in order to ask me what terminal he should drop me at. The AC was frosty and amazing, which I loved for a 1.5 hour trip in July Kentucky weather! The trip was very calming and chill, no weaving between traffic. I felt very safe. This also seems like a family business, which I absolutely love. 10/10, would recommend DrivingBG for a trip from Bowling Green area to the Nashville airport (or wherever else you're headed!)

We have stayed in hotels, country inns and airbnbs in the Glasgow and Mammouth Cave area. We visit…read more2 - 3 times per year. This is the best!!! The bedrooms are well equipped. Beds are comfortable and the bedding is excellent. There is an Alexa unit plus a large TV in every bedroom. The main/living room has a large screen and theater seating. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Pots, pans, etc. are all great quality. The Kurig coffee machine, plus a variety of coffee pods, is ready for use. We also used the Italian Bialetti Express Moka pot, which produces strong coffee. There were a variety of snacks (Poptarts, popcorn, peanuts, etc.) on the kitchen counter. And there were eggs in the fridge. We had arrived late and did not have to go to the grocery for breakfast items. The bathrooms were equipped with top-of-the-line Biobidet units, a touch of luxury and definite topic of conversation. The laundry room has full size washer and dryer. The house is equipped with a back deck, which has a table with chairs and a grill. If one wants, there is a firepit available for use. In summary, this was one of the airbnb's we have ever encountered - and we plan to come back.

A hard four and a half, very close five. It's very well maintained and camp host was nice and…read moreavailable at the check-in booth at the entrance. Most of the campers were locals or from nearby. The sites are slightly close, but with a lot of green space. The people next to us had several tents set up and one was even placed in our site... some people just don't know proper campground manners and this isn't the first time I'd experienced that. I can't speak on the rates or the booking process, it wasn't my turn for that task. I do know that he booked it through the recreation.gov After check in, there is a sharp left turn into the row of sites. If you're rig is big, don't risk it, just go straight and enter into the site area from the back. Several sites are water front, but not really accessible to the water. The body of water isn't the lake though, it's more of the channel from the dam to Barren River Lake. The boat ramp about midway in the campground, is a great fishing spot, if the dam isn't open. Catfish are the scores, but not when we were there, while there was too much water current from the open dam. It's in the western region of Kentucky, about two and a half hours from Lexington, so I don't recommend it for a short trip from here. Glasgow is the closest larger city and that was about twenty minutes away. If you're a BBQ restaurant lover, Glasgow is your place. We passed so many, I lost count.

Knowing that ghostly sightings have taken place and have been documented recently adds to the thrill of this fantastic tour. Dr. Smith's grasp on the history of the region is fantastic, and her storytelling abilities are unmatched. I look forward to another tour with Dr. Smith's Spooky Stories the next time I'm in the area!
