We recently submitted a review of this firm regarding our opinion of how they operate. We want to make clear that our own experience was that this firm billed US far more than they quoted and when we were freaking out about how to come up with another 15k only a week after paying a 15k retainer for our Appellate division phase of our case this firm offered us Billing discount in exchange for a 5 star review...this was long before and results were given on our case except for a loss in the lower courts. We updated our review on Google to properly reflect what this form did to us. We DID give this firm a 10k retainer on the Supreme Court Appeal ...which we never received a copy of any brief, nor any filing, nor any result. Just finger pointing. We have 4 individuals who were all present during the call to this offfice over tge surprise 15k retainer replacement AND the offer of a billing reduction for a 5 star review. Which we had given in exchange for that reduction. We felt trapped with this firm so deep into the fight that we borrowed the money from family to pay the surpise bill and gave the review they wanted. We are not wealthy and 15k was alot let alone doubling the bill. We personally feel that if we were given this "deal" ..if you want to call doubling the bill nd then offering a reduction in yhe unexpected bill in exchange for a fluff review a "deal" .... then we cant be alone. Again, this is just our opinion of this firm based on our personal experience with them. Others have reviewed this firms aweful behaviors regarding blocking phome calls and over billing, etc. They are buried. Its clearly possible that some clients are truly happy with this firm. CROOKED AS THEY COME. STAY AWAY!!! I wish I did. The good news: I'm very happy with the seasoned attorney I hired to replace A&A, which I was forced to do after one of its shiesters, Kerlin Hyppolite, basically stole $7500 from me in the form of provably fraudulent billing charges he'd invoiced against my month-old retainer. When I first wrote Kerlin an email to tactfully yet meticulously detail all of his blatant invoice "overcharges" (a.k.a., fraud) and to request reimbursement, I took care to copy both the name partners in the message only for A&A to respond by blocking my phone number shortly thereafter. Thankfully, the replacement firm I hired not only provided excellent legal representation that was infinitely better (which, admittedly, is a low bar to clear here), but it's now also trying to help me get my money back from these sticky-fingered sleaze balls. Hello my name is Vanessa Martinez. I have been calling since the beginning of October to speak with Jennifer left several messages with Deborah my phone number at there's so many times was put on a blacklist. It says all circuits are busy. I can now call through my job phone with no problem. I am requesting an itemize final invoice since my attorney is no longer at this location. I also paid $6300 when I should've just paid $6000 the $300 was not deducted from my consultation fee and I haven't received. Any money back I began working with Eric July 16 to September 12 and I'm sure I did not use $6000. I did reach Jennifer and she told me that she had a reach out to someone to open my billing cycle again so I can get my itemized final invoice as she wasn't sure how long it will take now my attorney's new office is requesting money from me. They were supposed to be sent to him. Neither me or my attorney have received any payment. I am very unhappy and this is very very unprofessional. I wrote the first part 6 months ago and still nothing.They blocked me on Facebook too don't use this law firm if you need someone I can recommend a good lawyer who's not going take your money and block your calls and Facebook rates.
