Growing up in Surrey, England, my parents always took us to all kinds of pick your own farms so this is a nostalgic activity for me. The husband has never been to anything like this but he is always game. As it turned out, the farm isn't very far from our abode! Make sure to follow them on facebook for available days for picking and opening hours, they are not open everyday. We went on a Tuesday and rechecked their facebook before leaving the house just to make sure they were going to open. The gates generally open at 4.30pm or a little earlier to prevent traffic build-up and road blockage in front of the farm. Regardless, picking begins at 5pm. We were there a little before 4.30pm but happily waited and enjoyed the scenery, fresh air, and observing the cows in the distant. Oh, the gorgeous Australian Shepherd at the farm also doubles as the hostess. She runs up to greet everybody that walked up to the strawberry patch. We also got to see her in action herding the cows. You'll be given a bucket to pick your strawberries, they are lined with a plastic bag which gets lifted out for weighing and then you just take that home, so there's no need to bring anything with you. And If I remember correctly the strawberries were $8 per lb. If your bucket is piled high with strawberries they will weigh around 5 lbs which you then pay just $7 for a pound. The husband doesn't like strawberries so I could only pick a couple of pounds. This is such a fun activity for all members of the family especially the little ones. If you haven't been to a You Pick farm, I highly recommend it!

There were so many peaches everywhere and they are sweet and juicy and taste great :) Overall I loved the feel of the place. They have so many different varieties of peaches (on rotation) and nectarines. They also house several bee hives which is beneficial for everything and everyone. Highly recommend checking them out this summer!

I was so impressed with the variety of vendors; there are traditional produce stands but also local beef, natural bath and body type products, bbq, salsa, popcorn, loose teas and other craft vendors. Also!! Mimosa and Prosecco cart to make your shopping just a tad more chill. Scissortail Park is such a great place to be and there is literally something for everyone who enjoys being outdoors! OSU OKC Farmers Market is a fantastic place to be on any given Saturday and I'm so proud of the turnout!

I had friends that both survived and were killed in this bombing, so, coming here is sad (the loss and tragedy), comforting (the remembrance and celebration of life), angering (the lack of empathy and remorse that several people were involved in purposely killing on such a scale--intentionally parking the vehicle borne explosive next to the daycare), and hopeful (the victims and families will be remembered in love for generations to come). I have more ties to this event than what will be mentioned here, but I am glad I took the time to go back. I wont wait so long for my next return. Its a must visit! It shows the power God has to bring people together through tragedy. The Oklahoma standard.

Every room is filled with hidden details, secret passageways, interactive elements, music, lights, and artwork that constantly encourages you to slow down and look a little closer. The experience is whimsical, nostalgic, and surprisingly thought-provoking all at the same time. One of the things I appreciated most was learning about the mission behind Factory Obscura. The exhibit isn't just beautiful--it was created by local artists who are supported for their work. Knowing that the installation continues to evolve with contributions from more than 100 artists made me appreciate every room even more. As a travel photographer, I loved photographing the exhibit. Every corner offered a completely different color palette, texture, or composition. The special diffraction glasses they provide make the lighting even more magical, so don't skip using them while you explore. My advice? Wear comfortable shoes, plan for at least 2-3 hours, and don't rush through it. Open every drawer, look through every little window, touch everything you're allowed to touch, and if you're able, crawl through the hidden passages--you'll discover details most people walk right past. Whether you're traveling with kids, visiting as a couple, hanging out with friends, or exploring solo, Factory Obscura is one of the most creative and memorable attractions we've experienced. It's colorful, imaginative, and unlike anything else in Oklahoma City. We left inspired and would absolutely visit again the next time we're in town.

It's an immersive art experience much like Meow Wolf on a smaller scale and I have to say it was very well done. You don't need a reservation (at least not in mid January) and the staff was great about offering suggestions for places to dine or things to do after the museum. I highly recommend you pay a dollar for the 3D glasses. This is fun for both adults and kids.

We weren't told the movie was 3D, I went to the manager once to let him know we could hardly make out the screen, thinking something was wrong with it. He said he would look into it. 30 minutes went by and I went to him again because we truly could not make out the blurry image and a different man (seemed like a regional manager maybe, or his boss) said did you get any 3D glasses? I said no, we didn't know we bought 3D tickets and they gave us glasses at that point. Just a weird experience that could have been avoided or fixed much sooner.
