There are more seedlings for squash, beans, and other vegetables which will be ready for transplant into your home garden in about 1 1/2 weeks. There are wonderful canned jams, queso (yum!), pickled, and freeze dried foods which use the home grown veggies & fruit for the most part. If they don't grow it, they source the finest products from organic growers. You can find health supplements for popular applications as well. Don't forget the check out the pre-wrapped gift books! You will also find delicious bread items made by local baker Still Rising. We purchased the Restaurant Style Queso Dip, Bourbon Apple Jam, & jalapeno cheddar sourdough which were all wonderful! The couple who owns, grows, and creates all of the products are terrific to chat with and you'll leave feeling lifted up.

The breads and pies are to die for and this is coming from a girl who can make a mean pie crust herself and rarely enjoys a "store-bought" pie. (Not that you can call these pies store-bought because they're all homemade by granny herself or someone in the family!) The monthly catered dinners are exquisite. For $45 a person you get a coursed meal with a glass of wine paired with each course. My most recent dinner was on the French themed night...the main course was a delicious roasted duck which was perfectly cooked and ended with a chocolate creme brule that was to die for. The store has a nice variety of merchandise, with plenty to browse without feeling overwhelming. What I especially enjoyed was finding several local products--those are always the things I look for when traveling because they make much better souvenirs than something you could buy anywhere. Definitely worth stopping in if you're exploring Arcadia and Route 66. Be sure to walk around back while you're there--the enormous mural celebrating Arcadia, Route 66, and local history is worth seeing too!
