I had heard so many great things about Marsia and Agava Body Wellness that I drove almost 4 hours for a consultation/permanent lip color/rejuvenation. Upon entering you will notice how relaxing and peaceful the atmosphere is. Being in my mid 50's my natural lip color had began to fade and the shape was undefined. During the consultation Marsia analyzes your facial shape and coloring, allowing her to design the perfect lip to complement your features, precisely tailoring the shape in proportion to your face. She takes her time in perfecting her art and goes over the procedures and outcomes carefully before starting and explains the aftercare procedures patiently. She genuinely  wants to make  sure that what ever you are  getting done, will come out the way you would want it. Marsia starts on the outline with a custom blend color mix, then gradually blend in to the entire lip. Marsia is meticulous with the coloring/shading and shaping; has an extraordinary artistic eye; persistently working to achieve the desired results. If you are considering using her services, be aware--she is quite successful and it isn't always easy to get an appointment, a testament to her long-term success. Not only is Marisa a true professional (and nurse), she regularly attends classes to keep learning new skills. It has been a pleasure to be her client, and I value the way she makes me look. Definitely, do not go here if you are looking for natural brow enhancement. Techniques are very outdated, doesn't offer microblading or eyebrow shading. I returned for several appointments to correct my brows but unfortunately things got worse. Tried to correct the eyebrow darkness with a chemical peel that left a huge area of discoloration on my face. Before this process of trying to enhance my brows I had okay skin and could go outside without makeup. Now, I have to do full makeup to hide the area and often my camouflage attempts are not successful because the area is very difficult to hide. I have spent countless hours and money buying makeup, equipment and researching how to fix this problem. I am constantly worried about what people are thinking when they see my brows, not to mention, I have shed many tears over this situation and wish I had never visited this studio. It has been 1 yr since I started this process and I have at least 6 more months before things will be kinda back to normal. I decided to seek help elsewhere to get things corrected costing me about $800 in addition to everything prior to now. I am not sharing my experience to hurt this business or its owner, I just don't want anyone else to go through the hell I have experienced. I will say the owner tried to correct but just didn't know how or what to do. Of course, there are two sides to every story and the owner will likely say I changed my mine about what I wanted. Very untrue because I came in saying I wanted natural looking brow enhancement and that didn't change at any point during the process.
