I recently had my first (but definitely not last visit) to Azia Medical Spa. I had a GroupOn voucher & was a little concerned that I may be shortchanged because I was there on a "coupon". All my fears were immediately put to rest from the initial phone call to make my appointment. I had let time get away from me and had less than a week to use my GroupOn voucher or lose the promotional value. The lady on the phone, Katrina I think, was understanding & made me an appointment for the next day. Bonus point because I was able to get my appointment on a Saturday. When I arrived, I was greeted by name & offered a drink. After paperwork, I was introduced to Jennifer Pyles who explained that she is double licensed and would do both my massage & facial. I was extremely pleased with this because it allowed me to stay relaxed throughout the treatments and not have to move into a new area. Jennifer was professional, attentive & through. Her pressure level was perfect & she checked in occasionally to make sure it stayed that way. She even surprised me by telling me she could tell I was right handed & spent a lot of time at a computer due to the tension level in certain areas. That really showed me how skilled she is. After the massage, Jennifer moved directly into my express facial. She walked me through the process & gave me a brief skin analysis. She suggested products & services I could benefit from. She was also kind enough to suggest some over the counter products when I asked about them. After the appointment, she left a list of the items & services we discussed at the front desk for me. After my time with Jennifer, I was allowed to wait in the sauna while the nail technician finished with another client. The temperature was just right for relaxation and I had to avoid nodding off. Next, Badri Roshan, the nail technician came to get me for my manicure. She was a very nice lady with whom I enjoyed talking. I loved her accent & chatting with her about her background and what drew her to Birmingham. As a testament to her work. I have received several compliments on my nails. As I checked out, I neglected to get the name of the lady at the front desk but she was very friendly and helped me run my card to leave a tip for Jennifer & Badri. I loved that while I was invited back, no services or products were pushed on me. My first visit to Azia was in January for a spray tan. I called and spoke with Staci Elder. I was very anxious about the spray tan because I did not want to be orange for my event. She was extremely helpful and knowlegdeable during our phone conversation. Upon my arrival she explained the procees thoroughly and made me feel at ease. After I finished, she explain the care process. As I was checking out I saw a brochure regarding several procedures. She explained them to me and got my chart all set up. I have been going to the spa since that initial spray tan. The only reason I had other services there was because she was just so nice and made me feel so comfortable. I cannot believe someone in Birmingham has not tried to whisk her away from Azia. She is a very special person and I can see why the Spa does so well with her as the first and last person you see. Krista Guy handles my treatments. She is awseome as well. She makes you feel so comfortable and explains everything in great detail. She evens calls to check on you after you leave. That is very rare. I thoroughly enjoy my time with her while she is very professional I still feel at ease. I can definately see a difference in my skin. I asked about her skin and she introduced me to the Obaji skincare line. I absolutely love this line. She explained it all to me and even sent me home with written instructions. She is always on time and is a very pleasant person. She is very professional and I feel at ease with her. I can already see a visible dfference in only six weeks. I totally trust her and wouldnt want anyone else. Krista and Staci are the reasons I come back to the spa and have recently signed up for additonal visits. These two are awesome! I have been a client a Azia since they opened. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The services are outstanding and reasonably priced. I very rarely have to wait as they keep appointments on schedule and timely. Krista has worked with me for both medical weight loss and skin treatments. She is always readily available for questions, extremely concerned with getting the desired result and client satisfaction. I have also been a patient for Dr. Cox for both botox and dermal fillers. Krista assists him during my treatments. Dr. Cox is always most concerned with giving me the proper treatment for the results that I want. He is very honest and caring and always desires to keep results natural rather than over doing it. Both Krista and Dr. Cox are caring and professional and I am always pleased with my results. They are both more than willing to make adjustments if a client is not satisfied, although I have never had to go back for that. They also call after a procedure to make sure you are satisfied with your results, which is rare for most spas. I could not recommend Azia more highly due to the staff, the relaxing facility and the wonderful staff and service they provide. They truly care about the clientele. read more

I recently started a Fractora procedure on my face and neck. Dee, performed the procedure and I must say, I am very pleased with my results. While I still have another treatment, I can already see results in the "laugh line" area. And the procedure can continue to make improvements up to 3 months later. The procedure is non-invasive and has minimal down time. A numbing creme was applied to minimize any pain. I was very pleased that I was able to perform normal actives when I left. Other than some mild redness, I had no side effects. In addition to this procedure I am also having eyebrow micro-needling done to enhance my eyebrows. With age, my eyebrows had started thinning and they were very sparse. I am also very pleased with this procedure. Without it, I would literally have to draw on eyebrows every day. Getting them to look the same and proportioned properly is quit a challenge. I am so pleased that I decided to have these procedures done. Spa Azia is Fabulous! The staff offer 5 star service and are very accommadating. Spa Azia is the first if its kind anywhere! Birmigham has needed something like this for a long time. Spa azia offers a multitude of services as well as supervision of renown medical doctors so you feel relaxed and secure at the same time. Where else in the world can you go to get a facial, botox and a tan? Spa Azia understands "todays woman" we are moms, sisters, business women etc and we are always on the go. At Spa azia its like time stands still, cell phones stop ringing and life becomes "what can I do for you". I heard about AZIA and the many programs they offer. I needed to lose weight since I am diabetic. I made an appointment with one of the counselors and started a weight control program. I actually started the program on Jan 2, 2012 and by Jan 27, 2012, I had lost an amazing 17 lbs. I started the maintenance portion of the diet plan and have lost another 4 lbs. making a total of 21 lbs. I recently had an appointment with my diabetic doctor; he just couldn't over the difference in my appearance and sugar levels. I was taking a total of 4 injections (insulin) daily. I no longer use insulin and no more injections. I am still losing weight until I reach my goal and I know it won't be long. I went to Azia for acne scars and the experience could not have been better! The owner, Dee, worked very closely with the dermatologist, Dr. Cox to make sure I got the maximum benefit. During the laser resurfacing (which was a little painful) they both made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Dee is incredible! She's the most hands on and caring owner of any place. You'll see what I'm talking about when you go in for a consultation. Check out everything they do there. Everything they do is to make you look and feel fantastic. INCREDIBLE !!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Azia Medical Spa. Their facilities are absolutely beautiful, and their staff is amazing ! Alex, Staci, Jessica, Dee, Jennifer and Ashley have all provided excellent service and have been the utmost professionals. They are unpretentious, super-friendly and more than accommodating. I moved to Birmingham in November 2016 and I didn't know anyone that would recommend a spa so I went online and searched for spas in the area. When I read about Azia, I was interested right away so I called and scheduled facials. My first day was amazing and I wondered if it was because I was a new customer. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming, the environment was very relaxing and peaceful. After my facials, I was blown away, my face was radiant and clean. Azia Medical Spa"s facility is really nice and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I was interested in the Zerona laser body sculpting and Dee sat down and explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. I decided to go ahead with Zerona and I will admit, I was skeptical at first but after six 40 minute treatments over two weeks I couldn't believe the results. I lost 9 inches! I can't even describe how happy I am with both the Zerona treatment and the staff at Azia Medical Spa! My husband had researched the Zerona treatment, and we both decided we wanted to give it a try. I had never been to a spa before, so I was a little nervous. Everyone I came into contact with there was very friendly and helpful. I felt completely relaxed. The goal set for me at the first measurement was 6 inches. After my treatments, I'm thrilled to report that I've lost 14 inches all over. I couldn't be happier!! My husband just started his treatment last week, and I'm sure his results will be great as well. I have had permanent make up done by Dee she did a great job on my eyebrows and I also got the Zerona laser treatment. I did not quite get the results I wanted the first time and I wrote a review about it. This is my new review. The owner heard about me being disappointed with my results and called me personally and wanted to make sure that I was fully satisfied with my results. I had the treatment done a second time and I am very pleased with the results I lost 21 inches overall and I am very Happy I will definitely go there for anything I need done. Marissa, the receptionist, is so sweet, patient, and helpful. I loved being able to communicate with her via text, Azia's online chat feature, and/or in person. Dee is absolutely amazing! This spa was everything I had ever hoped or dreamed a spa could be. I've been to other nail spas/salons, but nothing compares to this. Ask for Kay North, she is a fantastic masseuse. I never felt uncomfortable, and she was friendly and professional. The environment was SO peaceful and relaxing! The pedicure was nothing spectacular, but it was very good, the technician was friendly and I got to enjoy it all while drinking a complimentary glass of wine! I can't wait to go back! read more

I suggest you stay away if you want permanent make-up. I had a terrible experience there - which I previously posted - but I see was deleted. Wonder why?? With regard to my experience, the technician did not take the time to discuss with me what I really desired - and as a result - I have something permanent on my face which I would not put on even for a day. I just recently finished my Zerona treatment. I was very skeptical at first but once my two weeks were finished I had amazing results! I lost a total of 8.75 inches! The staff at Azia was very thorough and extremely sweet. You are required to take a lympatic suppliment, NOT a diet pills as a previous user posted. I also excercized daily as well as drink 64 ounces of water every day. But if you follow the ruitine you will have great results like I did! Thank you Azia!! read more

I have been suffering from severe headaches and jaw pain for the past 6 months. I have tried everything and nothing has worked. I went to Azia yesterday and Dr. Oden injected my TMJ area. I had this done at 4:30. By 9pm, the headache had lessened. I slept a full night last night (without waking my self up clenching and grinding my teeth) for the first time in 6 months! My first time at the spa was stellar. From the receptionist to the massage therapist, the staff was top notch and made sure that I had a great experience.
