In a period of only TWO WEEKS, I was injected with 10 vials of filler, including 6 vials of Voluma. Any experienced injector knows Voluma takes time to settle, yet more filler continued to be added before the previous product had even integrated into the tissue. This was my first time getting filler so I was unaware of the danger and was reassured I needed it. The end result was an overfilled, unnatural appearance along with hardness, migration, swelling, asymmetry, and significant issues in my chin and cheeks that I am now having to dissolve. It took months for the issues to arise but they did. What concerns me most is that when I reached out to the injector because I knew something was wrong, I was not offered prompt help or urgent follow-up care. I waited weeks while the situation worsened and ultimately due to the swelling had to seek help elsewhere. More reputable and experienced injectors typically take complications seriously and bring patients in immediately to assess concerns. I had to undergo multiple rounds of dissolver to correct the damage caused by excessive filler placement in a very short amount of time. Please research carefully, get second opinions, and keep track of how much filler and exactly what type of filler is being placed in your face over time. I wish I had.
