My experience was negative due to leaving with my fingers bleeding, thick acrylic, and the conversation of politics that I tried to end. I wanted to have a self-care day that was anything but relaxing. The worker said, "I wounded you". The bottle she took out of the drawer for "blood stop" was put back into the drawer and was absolutely unsanitary! I definitely wouldn't recommend this facility and very disappointed! During my pedi, I looked down and she had what looked like a used loofah and file. Nothing was in a new bag nor autoclaved tools. I asked and she said she had autoclaved them. FYI you cannot autoclave loofahs and files but I didn't know that then. Also the metal tools were not out of a bag. As if there was any question about it, at the end, she "scrubbed" all of the tools/loofah/files in the used foot water with soap for what I assume was the next customer Never returning and neither should you. read more

very poorly shaped, very poorly painted and the lady rushed me yet i was the only one in there. no cuticle prep, no proper dusting off nails after minimal filing. would NOT recommend. place was very crowded salon with minimal room to move around and desks were dirty. was supposed to be a simple SQUARED nail french tip. read more

I called ahead and made an appointment for 1:30pm and wasn't seen until 2:35pm. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and sat in the waiting area for at least an hour. They appeared to be short staffed (two people), and I did request a female technician, so I tried to have some patience. (I requested a female because the last male I saw at the shop painted the design on my nail with ACRYLIC paint..also didn't do the design or shape I wanted.) They also seemed to forget this, as when I was told to have a seat by a male (at 2:20), I had to remind them that I requested a female. I just don't see the point in making a scheduled appointment if the technicians won't adhere to it. They saw me come in and kept telling me, "In a little bit, okay?" The manicure itself was a good experience. The lady who did my nails only nicked my cuticles a few times and I love the finished product. Just wish the black was thinner. $50. I hope that they can stick to scheduling in the future. read more

We called ahead to ask for 2 manicures & 2 pedicures for 4 separate people. Told no problem & showed up 90 minutes later at our appointed time. We were helped on time, which was nice. However.... It was ONE single person providing services for all of us, one at a time. So what should have taken 1 hour took 2 1/2, which wasn't planned for or appreciated. My pedicure was done very well - including the stubborn nail that likes to turn into a hang nail. I appreciated the heck out of that!! The "manicure" for my mother (it was her bday & why we were there to begin with) - they didn't address her cuticles at all, rubbed oil on her hands & polished her nails with a very light coat of a color she settled for (they said they were out of what she selected & this was the next closest). She was NOT happy or satisfied & I felt horrible since we were already 90 mins away from her home for this new adventure. The other pedicure was fine & enjoyed the massages. The final manicure so far was happy with the shape and quality. The massage chairs are brand new & amazing... and I've been in a salon chair or two in my days. These are nice. The person who helped us did the best she could, but it was really too much for her to handle solo. I also would have appreciated knowing there was only one provider & given the option to book or not. So... pros & cons on both sides. If I happen to be in that area again when I need services, I might give it a second try, but I won't go out of my way to get there or see them... at least not at this point. read more

Worst salon experience ever! I asked for dip with chrome and she kept insisting I do gel after I told her no multiple times. I asked for a tip on one of my nails that was shorter than the rest and asked for no additional length to be taken off, she said "okay" and filled all my nails down to match the one short one after saying she wouldnt put a tip on. She didnt even take off the previous dip base before she added the color. She was very rude and aggressive while doing my nails and would sigh when i would clarify on what I wanted. Only two people on staff in the shop. Very disorganized about appointments. Did half of my service and made me wait an hour while she did someone else's nails before she finished. She also yelled at me and said that my nails were taking too long and that she had other clients, even though I made an appointment and I didn't even get the design I wanted because she said it would take too long. Charged me 80 dollars even though the tips were bulky and uneven and the color on top of the acrylic was applied hastily so the sides and edges were left without color. I asked her to fix a mistake she made on one of my nails and she refused. I definitely didn't pay $80 to get yelled at and get half assed nails. At the end of the appointment she put something on my hands (like an oil) that smelled disgusting. Also, when I walked in she was waxing someone's eyebrows in a chair in the waiting area. If I was paying to get my brows done, I wouldn't have appreciated that. Staff was rude. Service was way below standard for the price. They need to get it together. read more

the lady that did my nails here was so mean, rough, and honestly the worst experience i've had. i wouldn't normally leave a review but all i could think of was someone with arthritic hands going here and her hurting them as well. she hardly even spoke to me, continually bent my fingers ways they don't go naturally, all that for my nails to come out lumpy? and don't even get me started on her not paying attention to what she was doing & filing my skin. took the drill as high as she could & went straight in my real mail & it burned. no cuticle oil, no moisturizer just straight up terrible customer service for an hour. the main girl there is amazing, but if you get with the girl on the right close to the back, good luck because she's rough and mean. read more

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the lady was by herself and seemed friendly. This was my first visit at this establishment and I could not believe how much I paid for my nails & pedicure ($95.00) for my nails to start popping loose at the bottom not even a week later and on top of that the next day I was looking down at my toes and realized my small left toe was not even painted. This is horrific, to spend almost $100 for what I got. Another thing that bothered me is it was my bday so it was a gift for myself bc my 8yr son passed on my bday. So I try and make myself feel somewhat better on that day. I'm very upset over this. I would have never spent that kind of money for nails falling off & a incomplete pedicure. After waiting so long to even get the service to begin with. I feel like they owe me a free set of nails at least for how much I paid on my bday & them popping off in less than a week!! read more

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD DONE. We made an appointment at 10am and didn't get helped until 11. Waited and waited while they took all other people. My moms nails were done completely wrong for dip. When I told the nail tech she yelled at me and told me they are right and wouldn't redo them. DONT GO HERE!!!! I would do zero stars if I could!!! Update: my nails now are cracking less than 24 hours later. The polish is completely cracked on every nail. I went in to get my money back and she yelled at me and told me no because I left a bad review. The staff is very nice and will do everything you need. I regularly go in to have my acrylics filled in and regardless of who helps me they have always done an excellent job. There is often only one or two techs available at a time, so it's good to try and catch them when they aren't busy unless you are willing to wait. read more

Sweet people. Terrible product. Used outdated polish that stayed gummy for 24 hours. Quite possibly the worst manicure I've ever had.

I should have come to look at the reviews before I actually had my nails done here... I had my nails done, wanted acrylic with gel paint. So the man who did them has in earbuds the entire time and was on FaceTime with someone. A little weird but whatever. Well while he's doing my nails, he hits my skin with one of the tools hard enough to make me jump. He doesn't do it just once... he does it like 4 more times. AND IT HURT. Well I pay and get the heck out of there because it was sketchy and he honestly didn't seem like he knew that he was even doing. He was acting like I was more of a bother to him than anything. I'm looking at my nails today (I had them done yesterday) and two are crooked. A few I can already see my nails underneath. And my right thumb nail is shaped differently than the others.... it was just a hurried job. The entire experience was sketchy and weird and I will never be stopping in there again. read more

Went there before had a girl do my nails .. They came out great very nice upon my second visit the male nail tech with the orange hair was very rude and did not clean my nails correctly, when I let him know they weren't done correctly he got an attitude and started to tell me that what he did is all he can do, if you get your feet done all time you kind of have an idea of the routine the nail techs have to cleaning your nails, this guy was doing everything backwards and missed important parts and then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted if I wanted to leave .. I shook my head and Said yeah .. Then he said I was rude .. I said to him very calm I came to get my nails done and relax .. I wasted my time and money.. For future references I'll continue going to my place on 8th st, never been disrespected there. read more
