Check-in at the front desk and spa was quick and seamless. Terese greeted me promptly with a standard intake form to fill out (areas to focus on, meds, allergies, etc.). She offered water or tea (declined), explained the massage, and mentioned a CBD add-on for shoulders/back (+$20). I've never done anything with CBD before, so figured why not--kind of a "when in Rome" moment. The massage itself was excellent. Bed was warm the entire time (huge plus). She used props well, mixed in some light stretching, and leaned more deep tissue but checked in on pressure and adjusted when needed. What stood out most was how well she found and worked through pressure points--really took time to knead into the muscles and loosen things up. Afterwards, she gave me water, checked in on how I felt, and walked me out. Overall, one of the better massages I've had, and easily the best in terms of communication and technique. Ambiance is clean, organized, and relaxing. Would recommend, especially Terese. To note: you do not have to be an LT member to use LifeSpa. Bare purchased the clientele of American Laser skincare after American Laser filed for bankruptcy…read more At this time, Bare's employee, Jessica verbally guaranteed me that Bare would fulfill my Contract with American Laser as that was part of the purchase deal they made. I continued to get services at Bare. Now Tiffany from Bare is refusing to honor my contract and stated that I had 3 years to complete my contract. I made my contract purchase June 19, 2014. When I attempted to tell her that I had documentation of my purchase, she told me she could not honor it and hung up on me. Now I'm left with a partially fulfilled service for which I paid $2150, and Bare is offering no apology or attempt to resolve the issue. I also received a chemical peel through bare for which they gave me no post-care instructions. Due to the lack of instructions, I had an extreme allergic reaction. They were unapologetic while explaining it was their employee's fault for not giving me instructions. I have all of this conversation documented in e-mail as well.
