The beer pong craze hit Manila when I was in college, and well after that, my friends would still go out and hang in the beer pong places. Sometimes, when I feel like joining them, we would hit Agenda in Bocobo, which is a couple paces away from the action in Robinsons Manila. Cable Car is usually full, and the places near Taft can get a little rowdy with the unruly college kids so we would make our way to Agenda, where, coincidentally, one of our friends also spins. We are almost always guaranteed a table and some really good music, plus, the multitude of dining options around the area in case we get hungry, so Agenda always seems like a better idea. The beer pong has died down a little bit in this place, but the bar is still pretty nice and it has ample seating, especially for big groups. The beer is cheap, and if I'm not mistaken, they even have beer below zero. The place is clean and well airconditioned, unlike most of the dingy areas in the surrounding streets. It is in the busy Bellagio Square, and you can always find something to munch on in the neighboring restaurants if you are looking for something more substantial than bar food. read more
