Never been home in my country for 2 years & just came back last few days ago. So me & my friends dicided to party in this club. I live in nyc for 6 years now & I barely go home. When I visited this club last night I'm pretty surprised how huge this place is. You can never see this size of club in nyc & with pool? No way! So for me this club is worth the visit. Music wise not really into some edm type of music but still I had fun! Costumer service is amazing & servers & crew are very organize. They always check your table if you have a drinks in your glass & always refill it. They always talk to u politely with a smile on their face. I'm really happy I made it a try! The Palace Pool Club is what I like to loosely call Manila's answer to Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas. IF I WAS RATING THE VENUE ALONE, I'D GIVE IT FOUR STARS. SO WHY TWO STARS? I've only been to the Palace Pool Club twice, both during special events with international DJs. The first was their two year anniversary with Yellow Claw in April 2017 and the second was Flume's first show in Manila just recently in December 2017. The two year anniversary show with Yellow Claw seemed to have went on without a hitch. I arrived past midnight with my friend and getting in was a breeze. There was no crowd outside; everyone was inside and the dance floor was easy to navigate. HOWEVER, just recently with this Flume event, it was an absolute disorganized MESS. Apparently, the Palace Pool Club was hosting a private company event earlier that evening prior to Flume. Mind you, doors usually open at 9 p.m. but due to the private event, we were informed doors wouldn't be opened until 11:30 p.m., as the private event would end at 11 p.m. This was only advertised on their Facebook page and an obscure Instagram post. Otherwise, a vast majority was completely left in the dark. It was already 11:30 p.m. and there were at least a hundred people gathered around the designated tents. The bouncers had NO IDEA how to organize the lines and they constantly contradicted each other. One bouncer forced our already created line to move to a new tent and then another bouncer forced the line to move back. I, along with everyone else, was pissed because we were the first ones in that already formed line. I noticed here in the Philippines, locals choose to avoid conflict and would rather suffer in silence by choosing to stay silent. However, I am NOT one of those people. I told the bouncer it was not fair to allow this new line to cut ahead of the line that was already fully formed. The fully formed line was moved to one area and then back again because of another bouncer's irresponsible negligence and lack of information and organization. His response? "Well, this line ahead of you doesn't have too many people." There were at least 25 people in that line. I strongly responded, "It doesn't matter. We were here first and we moved because we were told to move by a bouncer who was clearly misinformed and knew nothing. This is all extremely disorganized." I could tell the bouncer was nervous I would either get him in trouble or incite a riot amongst the angry crowd so he created a separate line for us. Even being in the front of the line, there was more waiting. Already annoyed, I did not appreciate being left in the dark, literally. It was not until around 12:15 a.m. when I was able to temporarily restrain my irritation over the highly disorganized event and I kindly asked the woman in charge of validating passes, when we would be able to proceed into the venue. She responded positively and made a phone call. Five minutes later, passes were then being validated... only to be slowed down by iPad scanners that were malfunctioning... AGAIN, JUST AN ABSOLUTE DISORGANIZED MESS. I'm glad I opened my big mouth because we all would have been left completely in the dark, just aimlessly waiting. At least things got done after I spoke up. Whoever is running The Palace Pool Club, you literally need to get your team and all that shit together. You all NEED to COMMUNICATE. Not just amongst yourselves but with the people who paid their hard earned money to see a show at your venue. Don't leave us hanging in the dark because you all WILL get cursed out. The Palace Pool Club, I hope this serves as a lesson to be better prepared for future events because this one was a disaster. Flume was the saving grace of it all. ***ALSO, who the hell approved a private company event literally mere hours before a major show by an international DJ that has been heavily advertised on social media since the SUMMER?! I do NOT see ANY logic in making such a decision. You all obviously thought you could get the venue cleared out in time and maintain order but you were all dead wrong. I think it was mere luck the event proceeded as scheduled by getting everyone inside within the hour. Marc Naval, the Palace's resident DJ, deserved a slightly longer opening set and Flume deserved to be treated with greater significance and respect with an artist of his stature by reserving that night to be solely HIS.*** read more

Who goes out on Sundays? Apparently, #titasofManila and expats do. Selection of drinks are good enough, just like in any other place that serves alcohol. Could be just the weather but wouldn't hurt if there were mist fans. Restrooms are clean. Service is at par. Friendly staff. Good to know that Security Staff are also visible, as alcohol + pool = anything can happen. Although, the foreign DJ yesterday from 7pm to 9pm, was having a hard time mixing his tracks. Either he was downing too much beers or it was his first gig and nerves were kicking in. The next DJ in line was better, thank goodness! It drizzled a bit, but that didn't ruin the night. read more

Growing up in Florida, I was surprised to see a venue that brought Miami style clubbing to Manila. It makes sense, given how hot it is in either city. Place is bangin' on Friday and Saturday nights. Cover is expected for this level of nightclub, but if you're an expat or a Fil-Am, it'll seem so much more affordable for the quality of the experience you'll get here. Plus the cover is consumable! You never see that in Miami or Orlando. Dress code is island casual, which is super welcome considering the climate. Prepare to bump elbows with "famous" celebrities and the kids on the richer end of the Metro's youth. All in all, still solid. Probably my favorite place to go to on Fridays in Manila. read more

I'm not a big fan of clubbing but this place may have changed my mind. I love the idea of not having to wear heels or a fancy dress for a Friday night out with my friends. I also love the fact that I can take a dip in the pool after wearing myself out from dancing. I totally dig the vibe of the place. It brought Las Vegas to Manila. It also brought back the LABORACAY vibe (which totally died with the billions of people making it impossible to have fun in Boracay nowadays, you know it's true). My only issue is that since it's always jam-packed and it's an open venue, it tends to get really hot after a few hours. It's a bit pricey, which is expected of these venues. You could get a table/a cabana if you want something more private for you and your group - I have yet to confirm the price for either one. The pool club, is without a doubt, the newest in thing in Manila. read more

Don't give up on the Manila clubbing scene just yet! The Palace has opened its pool club, one that is good for some chill afternoon that can go til the night and the wee hours of the morning, with not much of a "strict" dress code (see my picture). I went with a couple of my friends on the first week it opened and I must say that I enjoyed myself there and the concept is quite cool because though there are clubhouses in Manila, they don't actually allow you to party freely and this late! One can compare it to an island vibe brought to the city as it opens at 3PM, closes at 2am on weeknights and 5am on weekends. There are two pools with benches and tables on the side -- one must order at least bottle to stay there. Then there are also airconditioned cabanas should you want something more private (and far from getting wet). I really liked the old school mix of music that turns into EDM from time to time. As in all places it's really the company that makes it worth while, so make sure you're with those who are in for some pool fun or just lounging around in the benches. I would definitely come here should I just want to tan! Make sure to bring your own towel if you don't want to pay 200 pesos for one! read more

Went here on a wednesday night, a friend took me here to check out the newest night spots in manila. The place is huge, big pool in the middle, lounge chairs scattered around the bar, some fake trees, feels like you're on the beach. Staff was very courteous and accommodating. Prices for the drinks were ok, we got a bottle of black label. This is spot is a really good party/rave place, alesso will be playing tonight and it's gonna be packed and crazy. read more

Been here a couple times.They are pretty strict with what you can bring in. One time they took away my friends keys. Um is that really a dangerous thing to bring into a club...At least they lookin' out for you. Get on guestlist. If you're on guestlist girls are free and guys pay a discounted price when they bring two girls. Bathrooms are nice here! Always clean but might have long lines. I don't know. The music isn't always my type so I don't enjoy as much...not really into EDM. The crowd has been ok when I've gone. I've seen some famous filipino celebs in the private rooms along the pool. So that's cool. But if the DJ isn't good this place can be boring even if you are drinking. Drinks can be expensive too. If you go I suggest you go with your friends so at least you can enjoy each others company. It gets hot outside so just walk into valkyrie to get some AC. They don't let you bring your drinks from valk/pool palace in and out so just be aware of that. Kuya guard will tell you to finish the drink before moving over to the different part. Watch out for some guys...they definitely watching you the whole night and making moves by the time you want to go home...is that ok to write for yelp? hahaha. Just saying. :) Don't get too drunk either you might fall into the pool. I always think what if that happened to me...I can't even swim. Everybody in Manila is talking about The Pool Palace these days... The venue normally opens at around 3 pm and goes on all night. I didn't know what to expect before going and wasn't sure whether to dress up for a pool day or for a club... the answer was BOTH! Imagine a pool with white sun beds on the sides, floating plastic coconuts sponsored by Vita Coco in the water, waiters dressed in white, a DJ set, and a bar right in the middle. The atmosphere of the party changes throughout the day. As it opens, everyone is in their bikinis, swimming in the pool, dancing by the bar or having lunch. As the sun sets, people put their dresses back on (well, some of them) and the real clubbing begins! Bringing in the Vegas Day-Club/Pool clubs is this hot spot in the Fort area equipped with a lit up pool right smack in the middle, lounge chairs all around. The atmosphere is hot and steamy tropical with the DJs mostly playing EDM and some top 40. Tip no. 1: Try to get in the guestlist to avoid paying cover charge. If you do pay cover, it usually comes with a drink or two - typical local beer, or rum coke/vodka sprite. Tip no. 2: Ladies, WEAR CLOSE TOED SHOES. Bouncers here are known to reject club goers who arent dressed up to the tee. Sweet talking them into letting it go can be arranged though. Manila can really humid and mercury rising as the country's celebrities, rich kids of the Metro and the rest of the nightlife population find themselves here to party on a Friday or Saturday night. So, Tip no. 3: Wear something you'll still look pretty bangin in despite the sweat dripping all over the place. Dont want underarm sweat marks on that dress/polo if you're trying to impress do you? Also, it can rain at times so check the weather. Parties still fill up but wear something you'll be comfortable in the rain in! International DJs come a lot so best go those days. The place is huge with a 2nd floor of tables for reservation (consumable) despite that, it can still get pretty tight on some spots (near the DJ, by the bar, and Dance floor - but come on, it's a club. A lot of security/bouncers walking around to keep you safe, a lot posted up near stairs to flash their lights and prevent injuries. Decent crowd, EXPENSIVE BOTTLED WATER (free water please, lol Php100 a pop? Seriously?), but a solid place to be seen and let off some steam! read more

Manila people like to go out and most of my friends are in the scene. They go out, dress up, get inebriated, come home and do the same thing over and over. They have friends who are djs, models or socialites. And when a new club opens, you see all of them together dressed to the nines, looking absolutely stunning. This time around it was in a day club called, The Palace Pool Club. It was designed by the same people that made some of Manila's best clubs such as Embassy, Members Only, Prive, Opus, Universe etc. It has 2 large swimming pools perfect for those who like to party, the "Vegas" way and different bar setups with bottles and bottles of alcohol. I came here after the Pacquiao fight to cool down in the pool after losing what was hailed as the fight of the century. I generally liked the place because it was different. Nothing like that has ever been built in Manila and for that I give it a passing mark. read more

Las Vegas style clubbing is now here in Manila! This out-of-the-box style of partying is just refreshing. I have been tried of enclosed spaces with too much people dancing in a dark atmosphere. I also dislike leaving the club and smelling like cigarettes up until the following day even after a shower. The recently opened Palace Pool Club in Uptown Fort Bonifacio is something that made me excited because it was something different! Imagine a pool club with great architecture, service and music. It's all simply that. An outdoor club with two swimming pools maintained well by all the staff. During my recent experiences there, I felt comfortable and taken cared of. The al fresco pool club gives you a five star resort vibe. It makes you forget you're actually in Manila and even in one of the busiest places in Manila, Fort Bonifacio. They're open from 3pm to 12 midnight which I think is the perfect hours because the sun is still up but it's not too hot. People can enjoy swimming and dancing at the same time! I had a great time with my friends there because we also rented a cabana. It is not the typical cabana you'd think of initially. This is like having a modern and sleek air-conditioned private living room all to yourself. You get your own bathroom complete with a shower as well as a closet that contains towels. it is also a place where you can put your things for safe keeping. It exceeded our expectations off the roof! The vibe of the place was so great and it put all of us in a really great mood. The Palace Pool Club gives you just the right amount of partying. read more

The newest and the first of its kind here in Manila. We now have a superclub just like the ones we would see in movies and the same of its kind as if we were in Vegas or Ibiza! Being there feels like you are in another country, minus the view of the buildings on the background, but other than that, it's also because of the diverse crowd. The place has two pools right smack in the middle surrounded by daybeds and cabanas. At the front, there is the DJ booth and stage and over at the back is the bar. I've only been here once with a group of friends and we rented a cabana, when the international DJ R3hab came over to play. Although the prices are more on the expensive side, I still feel that it's worth it in my opinion because you pay for the experience and you'd definitely have a good time. It's not exactly a place where you'd go to every weekend to party, but it would definitely be in my top list to celebrate an occasion. read more
