I'll tell you he was the only one willing to come at the end of the day and help us get the door and office locked up again. However he never told me that the "emergency visit fee was $65" Not before coming or when he arrived or when he left. I was prepared to sit and have him replace the parts then and there, but he insisted on coming back the next day. When he left with intentions to come back and replace the parts the next day, I figured the actual job was factored into the visit....We were surprised by the extra $65 fee. That being said, everything was fixed for about $150 which wasnt' too expensive...Just wish we were told of the fee ahead of time. read more

Unfortunately not a happy customer. Communication was good, HOWEVER the price was communicated incorrectly. I was told over the phone it was going to be a $25 service fee and it raised to $45, just like a previous review from Zia B. My husband and I had our keys jeopardize so I already felt violated/insecure. My step-father came to our house (cause we had work)while the locks were being changed and he of course had to pay on our behalf. I called my step-father to confirm what we owed him to payback and he said $90 -$45-service fee & $45 for 3 locks (not doors locks). Once again my husband and I are violated. We are hard working and honest people. It's sad we don't receive the same respect... $20 bucks is over half a tank of gas for my car to drive to and from work. P.S. Received a response from an original quote request I had sent (prior to just calling because I was desperate to get an answer on pricing rather than waiting for a message) and he says the service fee is now $48. If it were possible to give a zero star I would. Called about 9:00 PM, clearly said open until 11:00 PM on website. When the "businessman" answered, I asked for the price to rekey a lock. The guy hemmed and hawed for a couple of minutes, about scheduling and having moved. Said to him again I'm just trying to get an estimate. He hemmed and hawed some more. So I hung up. My business was flooded in the middle of the night. The fire department was called and broke into the affected units including mine. We bought a truck with a hitch that locks into the truck and had no keys...so we couldn't tow anything that didn't match the ball size on the hitch. Not only did he arrive in under 45 mins when other places quoted over a wk to get out here, but he arrived earlier than stated (1 hr) He didn't waste time trying to run up the hourly clock or inflate the cost of the visit by suggesting unneeded repairs. I've used Agoodguy Lock n Key for a variety of reasons. First off, He's come out on a moments notice and rekeyed my house. I was selling and there was some suspicious activity and I needed the house rekeyed. He showed up promptly and did all the doors and the cost was very reasonable. Because of his service and expertise, I called him again to help me with my bike alarm system. My fob had gone out and I could not get my motorcycle to start. He helped me replace my TSM turn signal module, which operates the alarm system so I could start the bike without the fob. He did this again, on call, quick to rescue me and his price for a late call was extremely reasonable. Saved me because otherwise I would have been stuck. It would have cost me twice as much to call a tow truck, and have the bike delivered to the local Harley Davidson shop to replace or fix. I was super grateful and happy with is professional and quick service! I used him again to help my daughter who had lost the keys to her 2007 Dodge Charger. He was able to get the car open, and rekey the ignition in order to get her back on the road! He is just simply amazing in his ability and knowledge! From house rekeying, to motorcycle (Harley Davidson) rekeying and finally to auto rekeying. I highly recommend him! I hope I don't need his services too much it just seems like when it rains it pours, but I at least know I have someone I can count on to do the job efficiently, professionally and at a reasonable cost with no hassles whatsoever!
