My garage is 24 x 30. The lead man Jake told me they would have it done by evening. I was sceptical at first, but they flew right into their work. Found this company via my dad's friend recommendation, whom also had a 10x14 shed made for himself…read more Super impressed with the workmanship and speed in how this company built this shed on site at my backyard. Discuss plans with Cameron at the sales division of backyardandbeyond. He was very professional and replied to my questions and provided me materials and price quotes in a timely manner. After choosing the style of shed, Cameron went through the pricing and options with me, creating a full contract. Then gave me over to Biz whom in charge of scheduling to install the sheds. Biz refer me to Aaron whom was in charge of the on site building. Since the preassembly before delivery shed would not fit into my backyard door, We had to have the shed be delivered in sections and then built on site. Assembly and labor was about $800 and the cost of our 8x10 shed was about $3000. Not bad price for the quality and design. Very impressed with how fast Aaron King and his team put together the shed. They had sections already assembled and onsite placed them together, then Placed all the outer decorative components on it. They came really early around 6:30am from PA to NYC and then finish in under 4hrs. Was very impressed as I observed them erect the structure. Very good work. A little back story on this company. They are a Amish family run company that had been in existence for decades. I for one am extremely impress with all the products they build and sell. The other thing that I was impressed with was their self made one wheel trolley that they used to move all the pieces of the shed into my backyard. A great invention for sure. LOL... I highly recommend this company. I Will be sure to use this company again when it's time to build my future house backyard. Only one problem that I did not noticed until a lot later after Aaron and his team left. The bottom part of the door frame was missing and the khaki siding did not go all the way to the bottom like it should so the bottom section looks a little ugly and unfinished looking. Had I noticed earlier I would had pointed it out to Aaron. I guess it's probably an oversight on their part.

The chandelier needed to be swagged and the amount of chain that came with it was insufficient. Stephen cut several more feet of chain for us and included it in the purchase. The store on Gay Street is not large, but there was a good selection of chandeliers and we are very happy with our purchase.

I purchased two lamp shades and was told by the sales person if they did not work I could return…read morethem to the store. Six days later, I returned them to the store. A different sales person was there and i told him i wanted to return the shades since they did not work for me. The sales person told me they do not take returns after 7 days. I informed him that it was only six days, in addition I was never told that at the time of sale. He continued to say he could place a special order because he can't give a return. He grabbed the lamp shades without giving me a refund. I stopped him from taking them until I received my refund. He refused to give me a refund for at least 45 minutes! I even called my credit card company to find a way to cancel my purchase. The sales person was taking pictures of me while I was on the phone with the credit card company. The person on the phone could hear parts of the conversation and was concerned. I asked for his name. He refused to give it to me. I asked if he owned the store. He did not, so I asked for the name of the owner and how to contact her or him. Was told the owners name was Steve Yack and I could reach Steve by calling the store, but he was not there, or email him at chesterlighting503@gmail.com. As I was writing an email while in the store, the unnamed salesperson insisted he would give me a refund if I signed a blank piece of paper. I did not. Finally he processed the return. I also took pictures of the sales person after I saw him videoing me or taking pictures while I was on the phone with my credit card company. This was the most abysmal customer experience. A quick 5 minute exchange turned into an unnecessary 45 minute fiasco. I always try and support local small businesses however this business is one I strongly advise you avoid. I did send the email to the owner but did not yet receive a response. Very sad.

Originally, my husband and I were looking into a third party company that sold similar PVC playsets…read morebut it was VERY expensive so I decided to do some more research and discovered King Swings. King Swings was actually much cheaper than the third party company and honestly, I felt like the quality was the same and some details of the King Swings sets were better actually. For example, the King Swings picnic tabletop ends don't have exposed ends. Another was that the windows in the playhouse can open and close along with the interior of the playhouse looking finished. The King Swing sets that have the monkey bars attached to the play deck have 2 detachable ropes at the end of the monkey bars. The other company had slats instead which I thought was odd because then you couldn't reach the play deck once you got to the end of the monkey bars. King Swings also had a stairs option when the other company only had the ladder. This way with the stairs, older adults and small children can safely walk up. We specifically wanted PVC because although it was pricier, we wanted something that would last and didn't require upkeep such as wood needing to be treated or issues like the wood splintering. I was really hesitant at first in placing an order because I wasn't able to see the playsets in person due to King Swings being too far of a drive. However, I was able to speak to 2 other moms that either had one of the playsets or had gone to the location to see the playsets and they had nothing but positive feedback. King Swing's customer service was amazing. I am the type that is super detail oriented and I felt bad asking so many questions but both Nicki and Crystal were so patient with my questions and answered all of them quickly via website chat and email. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase or to upgrade parts (ie, the nicer slide). Each time I requested a design change, Nicki would send me an updated playhouse sketch almost right away. I also love how customizable the sets are so you are sure to find something to fit your budget and everything looks attractive. In terms of installation, from the time of arrival to time of departure from our house was about 1.5 hours. We were given a time estimate arrival of 7AM and Paul, Ben and Jack got to our house at 7:35AM. During the install, one of them told us one of the side panels of the playhouse had a scratch on it so he replaced the part right away. I don't even know if I would have noticed it to begin with since it was on the side and being outdoors and all! We got the 6x6 playhouse with the avalanche slide, staircase, monkey bar with 3 swings and a hammock swing (super comfortable by the way). My son was thrilled when he saw the playset and honestly, my husband and I were just as thrilled! These playsets are not cheap but they are worth every penny! I can honestly see our set lasting for YEARS and we just had ours installed yesterday. We're so happy we found your company. Thank you King Swings and thank you Paul, Ben and Jack for the phenomenal installation job! P.S. The only suggestion I would have is to maybe be able to send a sample cut of the PVC so potential customers can see how the material feels. Or maybe have a showroom/sample playset somewhere closer because that was what was holding me back at first. It's a large purchase and not something you can just mail back if not satisfied.
