We just wanted to grab something quick to eat and tortas seem to be a good choice. They have a lot of seating inside, no outdoor seating unfortunately, but we decided to take our food to go and eat it back at our place. We ordered the classic steak torta and my sister ordered the Tijuana which had more ingredients. We also ordered a side of fries. We waited about 10-15 minutes and went to the car to head to our place. Luckily my sister double checked and they forgot to give us the french fries. So she went back to ask (since we paid for it) and they said they were going to make us fresh ones (which they did not, maybe it was a language barrier but they gave us cold limp fries)- which is why I am docking off a star. We ended up reheating them up in a frying pan at our airbnb. Each sandwich came packaged nicely with a sauce and sides of pickled veggies. A convenient place to stop by for sandwiches, but nothing extraordinary. Also quick note for those who have never been to Rosarito (this was my first time), you have to pay for parking at every plaza (well anytime you take a parking ticket). None of the vendors validate. But luckily it's not terribly expensive.

It's in the nice new & large shopping plaza. The torta was good, not quite what we expected as we've had the old school tortas like our mothers use to make w/3 simple ingredients (4 if you count the salsa). But, it's not a bad thing, they basically do a trendy, fusion take on it. Drinks were delicious and the place is super clean, as their restrooms were also. Also nice modern decor & ambiance. I do have to say, what stands out was the excellent customer service you got here. All the employees were on top of their game of providing great customer service. Definitely see this popular with the younger people, it would be a fun & fulfilling experience coming with friends or a date after watching a movie at the CINÉPOLIS.

They have a few tables inside and outside, plus it's on a walking only street so it's chill and calm. When ordering a local told me everything is good here and the place was filled, which is always a good sign when trying a new place. Staff was friendly and prices were great. My friend and I tried a few baked goods - some cookies and a brownie and we loved it all. The brownies reminded me of ones my mom used to make with powdered sugar on top. Hogaza Hogaza is a nice little bakery to grab some coffee and eats in Ensenada!

It's an adorable little coffee and pastry shop with outdoor seating, and next door is a Thrifty's ice cream shop (closed when we went by). There are fresh flower bouquets for sale out front. Inside, there is a beautiful selection of cakes, pastries, and fresh breads, as well as coffees, sandwiches and breakfast entrees. There are a few tables inside, and would make a great place to dine with friends or do some work. I picked up some pastries and they were all great, and the Iced Coco Mate Latte was creamy and delicious and not too sweet. Staff was friendly, and I got by with my mediocre high school Spanish. Apple Pay accepted here.
