Please do not waste your time in making an appointment for the COVID vaccine…read more A few weeks ago, I made appointment through the Walgreens app for the COVID vaccine. The process was fairly easy. The app was set for both vaccine appointments with the dates and times. My first "appointment" went smooth - although the was no regards given to time of appointment. The "appointment" for the second shot did not go as smooth as the first. The "line" to check-in with someone at the COVID vaccine counter was loosely formed by previous customers. I joined to line awaiting my turn to check-in. A male person walks in asks the person behind me in line: "Is this where you go if you're getting the second shot?" The female person behind was unsure. The male goes to the counter and repeats his question. Apparently, the intake person tells the male person to wait "over there" (seated area) to be seen next. Now, with this is mind, there are several people waiting in line to be seen - some for the first dose, some for the second dose, some with appointments, and make walk-ins. Ergo, this person skipped all persons waiting to attended to by the permission of the intake person behind the counter. This did not sit right me as I am next to be serviced. As I get to the counter, the intake person tells me that I am not next and that the male person is ahead of me. I explained that I was actually standing in line with said "appointment" previous to the male person. The intake person and I exchanged heated words for less than a minute. There is an additional person behind the counter. He appeared to be the one to administer said. He decides to chime in and states: "But there are walk-ins." I told him to use that same energy to organize the "line" and not to interject, if he was not going to help. The intake person conceded. I was next to have the second shot - or so I thought. I waited an additional fifteen minutes. The tech comes out and - once again - calls for the male person who came in AFTER me. At this point, I made my way in search of a store manager. I explained the situation to the store manager. We walked back to the pharmacy area. Manager speaks with tech. Manager apologies. I accept. Tech apologies several times. I completed the vaccination. Why does it have to go to this level of absurdity? Several factors come to mind: (1) Although, the store located in an area of white-collar workers with median income ~$82,000 - it's predominately people of color, (2) alpha male energy thinking they can speak to someone any kind of way without regard, and (3) lack of effective communication skills. The pharmacy techs need a bit more direction on how to organize the area for COVID vaccinations and working with the public.

Blatant cowards. They then flatly refused to provide the name of the so-called 'pharmacist' or any of the dispensing staff on duty. These cowards actively hide behind anonymity because they know exactly how negligent and unprofessional their behavior was and are terrified of facing any consequences for their denial of care. If necessary, demand a full corporate compliance audit complete with employee login logs, transaction timestamps, and surveillance footage from that shift so these faceless hacks can finally be identified and held accountable for their pathetic display of incompetence. Luckily there is a drunk that hangs outside the store named Benjamin, often providing interesting stories. If you don't mind the smell, he's quite the riot. Update. Benjamin is not a drunk. I definitely wasn't thinking about buying any but her energy and the livelihood of the store with festive decorations had caught my interest. After a very informative session of the latest brands and scents, she made me feel like I had made the right decision on choosing what cologne to buy for myself (and which perfume to get my wife as well :)...she loves it btw!). The most impressive was the alcohol section. They had so many good varieties, all big brands presented in their own branded shelves. The candy section was also large and colorfully decorated. They also had luxurious watches, sunglasses, cigarettes and some gift products at the store. We bought few packs of candies and cartons of cigarettes. The checkout was quick and easy process. Prices were very generous. A carton (12 packs) was only $64, that's little over $5 per pack. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lilliana made it a point, even for such a simple project to show me through her actions that her customers satisfaction is what she strives for. You see, she could've pushed it off and said I'll see you tomorrow or the next day but through her actions she showed me (like she does with everyone) that my customers are important. That type of customer service is second to none. If you take a look at her Instagram account (marincreatons) you're going see that the talent goes so much further than my little project. Lilliana Marin will take any ideas any of her customers have and make it a reality. Thus creating a work of art. So if you have any type of function doesn't matter if it's a wedding, baptism, birthday celebration, retirement or any other moments where you want gift that person with a one-of-a-kind personalized work of art than Marine Creations is a place you should consider. I would even say that people can mail her items so more of the United States can experience something, from a person that doesn't exist elsewhere. You can stay on hold for an hour or walk into the store and also wait an hour to be told your medication is not ready or there was "an insurance" issue which they don't notify you about until you try to pick up your medication. Waited a week for an inhaler and after getting my insurance to approve a different inhaler got a technician who was nasty and then hung up on me. Walgreens should be ashamed at the lack of care and service they are showing at this Walgreens. It's because its in a black neighborhood. This would not happen in any other neighborhood. Don't come to this Walgreens if you can avoid it.

I went back a couple times to exchange the dress for a different size and it was closed, definitely call before going to make sure they are open.
