Ahlum and Arbor did an outstanding job on my tree. It's a large silver maple. They pruned it, removed deadwood, and removed a large limb that extended quite far over my roof. They accommodated all of my scheduling issues. The clean-up team did an outstanding job. I had sticks in my yard from a recent storm and they kindly included those in their cleanup. My only regret is that I forget the team leader's name (the one that did the cutting). He answered all of my questions and even shared information on another tree in the yard. We hired several tree companies over the years to do removal, pruning and the like. We had three trees that looked sickly and enquired about them, but were basically told that there was nothing they could do. Finally, someone recommended Ahlum & Arbor. They have been coming for about three or four years now. They inspect, diagnose, feed, spray (for mold, fungus, "rust", etc), prune, etc. as needed. We are astounded by the results. All of our trees look significantly better - even the ones we thought were okay. Our Hawthornes, which we were ready to remove, went from looking dead to looking gorgeous. They bloom every spring and fruit every fall. The service techs are always professional and friendly - they even show up on time, consistently. Asked for an estimate to remove a dead tree. They want $75 just to have someone come out for the estimate. They call it a "first-time client fee." Nothing about the fee is mentioned on their web site. Penny-wise, pound-foolish policy on their part. They lost the opportunity for this and any future jobs on my property, and I have lots of mature trees. read more

Great company! Customer Service is great from the office to the guys in the field. They came out and explained everything they were doing, asked if I had any questions.
