I must say it was an amazing and comfortable ride. We had enough legroom, snacks and cool drinks. Her black Denali was nothing short of luxury. It had a built in cooler and every time I stepped out of the vehicle, there was an extended step for me that extended itself. Her vehicle is also great for business because it also offered wifi and hotspot. This was very helpful to me since, I lost reception. We would for sure use her service again. If you were to get a layover, it's always either in Atlanta or Charlotte. It's definitely come a long way. They remodeled and added a few things. There is only one restaurant and a few stores. One great thing about this airport is that you don't have to wait. There are no long lines and TSA is not as strict as most airports. My parents only live 10 minutes away so this is very convenient when I fly back home. It's a small airport and I've never had any problems. One delay but it wasn't for hours.

I found them to be prompt, courteous and very reasonable. The people are very friendly and Dawn herself is quite humorous. It's obvious they take customer care and service to be at the top of their list. They are also very accommodating. From taking me to dinner, and being ready to take me back to my hotel, to agreeing to take me to the airport in Columbia there was never a moments hesitation. As is often the case with house hunting, plans change. Often in the middle of the trip. Again, never a complaint or hesitation. They calculate the fare be gps distance instead of a meter. This means you don't pay for sitting at a stop light or slow traffic. All in all, if you are in the Aiken area and need a ride, who ya gonna call? Dawn's taxi.

Having never been to the Field, for flight or special events (i.e. Charity Fundraisers) I thought the main building was just a hanger and check-in. To my surprise I found a spacious and up-to-date room (on the 2nd floor, there is an elevator) that would be great for parties, meetings, and workshops. To top it off, there is an outdoor patio space that faces the field so you can watch planes land and take off. Restrooms are right around the corner so you don't have to go far for that. Apparently you can also rent a plane and pilot (by the hour) to give flights. It held 3 adults/4 children and did 7 minute flights. I don't know the price of all this, but I will be looking into it. Such a great hidden gem on Wrightsboro Road.

Most of the folks here are not transient, meaning that they're longer term stays for work. There is not much nearby as far as shopping or restaurants. I was not able to get their wifi to operate consistently. The bathhouse was clean and I did get a nice shower twice. The main complaint is nothing that they can correct - the park is located directly on US-1 and on a hill. There is a good amount of highway noise during the daylight hours, particularly from the trucks using their transmissions as brakes. Loud.
