It's served primarily by Delta and American Airlines, and everything is conveniently located within the same vicinity. The car rental companies are right by the baggage claim area, while the check-in counters, TSA checkpoint, and departure gates are all on the same level. One thing I appreciated was that flights begin operating early in the morning, making it convenient for travelers. The airport has one restaurant and one gift shop, which is sufficient given its size. One of my favorite features was the abundance of massage chairs throughout the terminal. I treated myself to a 20-minute massage for $20, and it felt amazing. Although the airport does not have airline lounges, that wasn't a problem since the seating areas were comfortable and accessible. There is, however, a hospitality suite available for active-duty and retired military personnel. I also enjoyed the local touches throughout the airport. Several displays honor James Brown and other notable Georgians, while exhibits highlighting Augusta's history can be found throughout the terminal. Near baggage claim, there are even zoo-themed backdrops where travelers can take photos. The Delta and American Airlines gates are located in the same area, and there are plenty of restrooms available. Overall, this is a simple, easy-to-navigate airport where you're unlikely to get lost or miss your flight. If you're looking for a stress-free travel experience, Augusta Regional Airport certainly delivers! don't think I've ever been to such a small airport in the United States before. Updating my review. I've flown out of here so many times. It's expensive to fly out. Especially…read moreif I want to fly a direct flight to Cincinnati without a layover. If you were to get a layover, it's always either in Atlanta or Charlotte. It's definitely come a long way. They remodeled and added a few things. There is only one restaurant and a few stores. One great thing about this airport is that you don't have to wait. There are no long lines and TSA is not as strict as most airports. My parents only live 10 minutes away so this is very convenient when I fly back home. It's a small airport and I've never had any problems. One delay but it wasn't for hours.

Was told cab was enroute...would not give me an eta when I asked. 5 minutes later I receive a text informing me that a cab has been dispatched. My reservation was clearly ignored and pointless. At 4am cab arrives (half hour past my reservation TO THE AIRPORT). Note: if you are accustomed to your Uber's standard of cleanliness, be prepared to adjust your standard downward significantly. That said, it was your typical taxi standard of cleanliness and I was just thankful it didn't smell like a homeless shelter. Trip was quick. Driver was surprised that I didn't have $161 in cash and was not prepared to take my credit card. This is despite the fact that the website very clearly states that major credit cards accepted. Nevertheless the driver took the time to locate his square swiper, and when he couldn't find it, he figured out how to do it manually. All being said, I'm giving the extra star because the driver was very friendly and polite. My advice if you are reserving a cab, anticipate they may be half an hour late.

The dispatcher was so rude!! After the guest gave the address to the hotel the dispatch hung up in his face. Not even answering the man's question. I will never refer this company again.
