Unfortunately, the positives stop there. I feel EA stone completely dropped the ball on communication, execution, and accountability. * They completely botched the installation of the backsplash and tried to blame me for their mistakes. Ultimately they did fix the backsplash after a lot of wasted time and unnecessary debate * They caused extensive damage to my cabinet paint during installation - their response: it's on you * They used a grinder and took big chunks out of the side of my cabinets: their response: it will be covered so it's acceptable * They cut the kitchen island top 2 inches two long which left large open gaps on the sides of the island. They refused to fix it. I feel that EA Stone left the job unfinished, caused extensive damage, and when confronted, they made excuses, deflected, and ultimately blamed the customer. They left a huge mess of quartz dust throughout the house with zero attempt to clean up. I feel that EA stone failed every step of the way - and while everyone makes mistakes, I would not recommend doing business with them due to their compromised integrity and respect for the customer.

Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient during the entire process The care and professionalism during the installation was second to none they are truly perfectionist during the installation and all finishing details. During the installation of the very last piece, Edgar noticed a cut going the wrong way and made the statement, it was unacceptable and went back and got another new piece to install so it would be perfect. They will be doing any additional projects we need to have done. This is the quality that they provide and that you're going to be looking for as well.

After a month went by I asked when they are actually going to do my install? They gave me installers (Edgar) phone number. I give him a call and set an appointment with him on 2:00 PM a couple days later to measure. I take off work early to meet him and 2:30 I call him to ask where he is? He tells me with no apology he is getting lunch and will get there when he can. 4:30 comes and I call him again, he tells me once again he is going to get some lunch and will get there when he can. I tell him good luck with that. He catches me on my way out the door and I say "if I told my paying customers what you told me after you set the time I would not have any business with them" and left. I ask Michael to get me a different installer. He tells me about Marco and says he has 16 years experience and is very nice. He comes over to measure and about a week later he starts his install. He tells me that he needed to come back the next day to finish for only a couple hours. When I get home I was shocked at how much was not finished and missing one sink and all the faucets. I asked Michael and Sandra to come look at my install and they come and take pics of all the unfinished granite. I asked them why he would leave without finishing and they tell me it was their fault because they had to send him on a more important job than mine! They also tell me my sinks and faucets were at the original installers which made no sense why I had 3 of my sinks already. I asked who was going to install them since they gave me the impression that was part of the deal. They gave me a number to a plumber to call for that at an extra cost. They text me the next day and ask me to be at my home when installer is there so I can tell him what to do, I then say what sense does it make for someone with no experience telling a 16 year experienced guy what to do!? I talk to plumber and he tells me an amount of expected bill with possibility of more, I ask him for a break down after we set a time for him to show up and he never answers me back. I received an email bill for the install while Marco was working and it seemed too high. I asked Michael what was the cost of my fireplace since I agreed to that after my first estimate from them. He tells me one thing and I ask Marco while he was here and tells me something way different! I tell them how unhappy I was with my experience thinking they would make it up with some kind of discount but find out they were only trying to overcharge me when it was all said and done. Only thing they were concerned with was getting money without giving any apology. Don't let them fool you!

Earlier this week, I had roughly $7100 worth of work done by MillCreek in Tulsa, Ok. The project…read moreinvolved removing 1100 sq ft of carpeting on our bottom floor and replacing it with wood laminate. I have to agree with what Marlene says in the comment before this one about Freddie. Apparently MillCreek has several contract crews doing installation work and I was fortunate enough to have Freddie do the installation on this job with a helper. Freddie is super polite, professional, detailed, and very fast. He takes a lot of pride in his work. It took him 2 days to complete this job. I did the math and figured that he and his helper worked at a rate of 75 sq ft an hour (includes moving the furniture, removing the capeting, pad, and trim and installing the new wood laminate). It's incredible! I would recommend anyone looking to get flooring done at MillCreek to ask about Freddie's availability. I also had the pleasure of working with Linda Lakey as my consultant on this job. She has a background in interior decorating, so she was able to help us find the right color and shade of laminate to best match our walls and furniture. We never felt pressured for a decision on anything. She was concerned with us getting exactly what we wanted, how we wanted it, and when we needed it. My wife and I went at our own pace and asked a lot of questions about the materials, costs, financing, and installation. We found Linda to be very honest, knowledgable, pleasant, and professional. I was initially nervous with doing this big of a project and not having any personal experience in dealing with MillCreek. But everything turned out great and my wife and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. I would certainly use MillCreek again if I ever do any more flooring projects, especially if I could work with the same people again. One thing that I did learn on this project is that I am glad that I went with the thicker (12mm) wood laminate. Once the carpeting was removed, we found that my foundation wasn't perfectly level(no foundation is, some are worse/better than others). Linda, Freddie, and I discussed some possible remedies once the foundation imperfections were found. But they suggested to me that I could live with not having anything extra work done since the thicker laminate would flex less and make it less noticeable when I walked on it. And so far, I agree with that.

After the downstairs was almost complete we noticed hollow sounding tile throughout the 1st floor. Milk Creek had to rip up tiles throughout the first floor and relay. Fast forward a few years later and tiles in several areas of the upstairs are now popping up. Although we were past the warranty period, I called Joan (our sales rep) and explained the situation, thinking they would at least come look at the issue. She said that their manager said "something caused this to happen..." and that "too much time had passed and that they didn't want to open up a can of worms". Hindsight being 2020, I would not use Mill Creek and would opt for a more reputable company with higher skilled tile layers and better business practices.
