I contacted Aim Carpet and Air Dict Cleaning for an emergency cleaning for the carpeting in a bedroom at my 90 yr old mother in laws house. Jim made a quick appointment and did an amazing job. We used a groupon with them and no where on it does it say it is for a basic carpet cleaning, but with in five mintues of being there Steve upcharged us $300 on top of the groupon we had already bought. Steve is also a very determined salesman. He basically wouldn't take no for an answer, pressuring us into his prices. Also the "deep scrub" they do is just with a shop broom but they charge you an extra $120. On top of everything they used our water and rushed through the whole house and the carpet looks like it did before. *Update* The owner has addressed our issue personally. These guys are amazing. I had last minute out of town guests coming in and my dogs had a couple accidents on my carpet. These guys squeezed me in and made my carpet look and smell amazing!!. The guy that came out explained every step of the process before he did it and he helped with the cost. I thoght I would have to deodorize my whole area because of the pet smell, but because his machines have heaters that make the water super hot, he was able to pinpoint exactly where the stains were and just treat those areas. Also, the machine was very powerful, you could tell by how much dirt he got out and by how quickly the caroet dried. Also, they can bring their equipment right in your home so you do not have to leave uour doors open. Thanks AIM, I will recommend your company to everyone. read more

This $39 carpet cleaning ended up costing us over $300. When we scheduled the appointment (I had to call twice to get a response), I specifically asked if we needed to vacuum prior to the cleaning because the floors were filthy (we had just moved out of the home and have pets). I was told the technician would vacuum before cleaning. When the technician arrived to clean the carpets, my husband met him at the house and again asked if he should go get our vacuum and use it before the cleaning. He was told not to, that the machine that cleans the carpets also vacuums. After the carpets were cleaned, all of the cleaning solution was dumped down our toilet instead of being disposed of by the company. When they left, we immediately noticed that there were big chunks of fur on the carpets because they had not been vacuumed. The plumbing was also not functioning properly. We immediately called and spoke with the owner. He was not friendly at all and told my husband that he never told me not to vacuum. My husband expressed concern about the solution being put into our plumbing system and was told that this is "standard practice." Within a week our main sewer line was clogged (the home is unoccupied and the plumbing was used very infrequently). Fur and debris were pulled out of the main line by our plumber, costing us an additional $300. I emailed AIM again to express my concern and the owner told me we had already addressed the issue of not vacuuming and that it follows OSHA regulations to flush cleaning solution down the toilet. He was very defensive and unwilling to work with me. He did finally concede to look at the receipt from my plumber, which I sent over immediately and expected follow-up from, but he never contacted me again. read more

I had never hired a professional carpet cleaning service before, but the apartment I was moving out of required us to have the carpets professionally cleaned. When I called to schedule an appointment with Aim Carpet Cleaning, Jim was professional and friendly, honest and courteous. He booked me in at my convenience and explained what I could expect. He gave me a time slot between 9am and 11am. He called shortly after 9:30am to say he was on his way and would arrive in 20 minutes, which he did. His services went above my expectations and I am just so very pleased. He even went the extra step for us trying to remove a very stubborn stain I had long since given up on; he brought us back a special cleaner for that type stain the next day! He clearly cares a great deal about doing an excellent job and does well at satisfying the consumer. I definitely recommend him and this company to anyone needing carpet cleaning services in the St Louis area and am actually a little bit sad that our new place has flooring. But if we move again to a location with carpets, we know who to call! read more
