This is not your average place, much better than a massage envy and very professional and extra touches make it nice (after massaging with oil and lotion they wipe you clean at the end with a warm towel as to not mess any of your clothes, use of warm oil and hot stones, massaging head with oil, etc.). This place, perhaps due to lack of competition, is pricey. This has prevented me from coming regularly. She used lotion instead of oil which smelled cheap and stale. A light-touch massage ended earlier than 1-hour, which I was okay with. Seeing Bill regularly is the difference between "aching almost all the time" and "I'm kinda sore at the end of my workday, but I'll be fine tomorrow." He's adaptable, asking before each session if there are specific areas he should concentrate on, and he's happy to skip an area that you don't feel you need much work on -- for example, we mostly stopped doing the mid-back, though he asks each time, because sometimes I want a bit of light work -- so he can spend more time on other areas that need attention -- in my case, the whole ring around the shoulder blades, which I'd never even thought of as something that would benefit from massage, but boy was I wrong! Also of note: I have a trauma history, and the PTSD and hypervigilance that goes along with that, especially regarding being touched. In all the time I've seen Bill, nothing has triggered me, which is remarkable. He's professional but easy-going, and I have come to feel like, when I am there, my body is kind of a complex, important machine that requires regular maintenance to work effectively.

I am so happy I did for the first time. I was in perfect harmony and cannot wait till the next time I have the opportunity to come back. It was the perfect way to spend our day off on Juneteenth. I used vagaro, the online appointment scheduling platform for Harmony on Hope Massage, to book The Perfect Pair - Couples Massage for 60 Minutes for $240 with Matt Kenny and Nikki Seidman. The system was easy to use and there were plenty of availabilities so you can choose what date, time, and therapists works best for you. Just make sure to allocate enough time to answer questions related to your medical history and any specific areas you want the therapists to work on. Since making the appointment date to our appointment date, we received multiple appointment reminders via text and email. Our appointment was at 10:30 AM on Wed, June 19, 2024. We parked on the side street, but it looks like there is a small parking lot next to the building. We arrived to Harmony on Hope Massage around 10:20 AM and was greeted by Shannon, founder of Harmony on Hope Massage. She made sure all our forms were completed, informed the therapists we arrived for our appointment, and told us where the restroom was. In the waiting room, there was filtered water, mini zen garden, and the wall behind Shannon was decorated with handmade wood frames with crystals, feathers, and branches. Matt and Nikki came to greet us in the waiting room and welcomed us to a room with two massage tables side by side and two chairs with a table in the middle. We discussed what we wanted the therapists to work on, if we wanted the heat on the table, what to take off or leave on, what position to lie in on the table, complimentary hot stones if wanted, aromatherapy, pressure strength, and so much more. After our meeting, they left and we undressed and got on the massage table. We put our clothes on the hangers, rings in the ring dish, and a basket underneath the table. Soft music played in the room. After the massage was finished, the therapists left and we got dressed. The therapists met us and asked how we felt. My massage therapist felt I was tense in between my shoulder blades and released the tension. My back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders felt so relaxed, physically and mentally. This was probably the best full-body massage I've ever gotten. My favorite part was when my shoulders, scalp, and hips were being massaged. I also enjoyed the hot towels. Only the area being worked on was exposed from the sheets. From the check-in to check-out, the whole experience was marvelous. All the staff are very professional. Shannon charged us for the visit and we were able to Venmo our tips for the message therapists. Our therapists Venmo QR code was in a ring holder. I can't stop talking about this massage experience and looking forward to the next one.

I booked a couples massage for myself and my partner, and while my partner had a decent experience, I did not. I was given the male masseuse and he got an erection which he kept pressing against me. I kept moving to avoid it but he continually repositioned himself so that it was pressing into my arms, my hip, even (especially) my head. I hope this is not a common occurrence. Thankfully the woman that worked on my partner was very pleasant and did a great job for him.
