Aimage was one of the best things about my wedding. I interviewed 3 different photographers before I met and hired Lisa. I was so incredibly impressed with her portfolio and personality. Her pricing was also completely fair and less than a lot of the big companies I looked at. Usually, I cannot stand pictures of myself. With Lisa, I have beautiful pictures that I love. My bridal portraits were AMAZING. Did I mention, I've never liked pictures of myself, EVER, until Lisa? The wedding photos came out gorgeous, my entire family was so happy. She captured such candid pictures of family and friends and she is wonderful at getting people together quickly and in flattering positions. In the moments right after the ceremony, you have literally 30 minutes to get pictures of the wedding party. We had an enormous wedding party, and Lisa was fast and friendly getting everyone to organize and pose. It's not easy, but she was a rockstar. More than anything, know that you're not getting a junior photographer at a big company. You're getting Lisa, and she's such a talent. Post-wedding, Lisa sent me all of my pictures on discs, copyright-released. She even touched up a lot of them, which she wasn't contracted to do. She's just that cool. (Sidenote: I'm a designer by trade, and she did great work on touch-ups - nothing was done incorrectly.) The discs were sent to me very quickly - they were waiting for me when I got back from the honeymoon. Lisa was AMAZING on our wedding day! We got married at The Oasis on Lake Travis in Austin! She was extremely confident, personable, funny, down to earth, experienced, and took a lot of pride in her work. She also helped to coordinate time management during our reception, which was very helpful when you are pulled into so many different directions. As a result of her attention to detail, she was able to capture many intimate moments. We also received our photos within a week after the wedding! Every picture was edited beautifully and she was well worth the money. As for some of the negative comments, we were really surprised to read them. Lisa is blunt with her words, but we appreciate a "take charge" type of personality, as I stated earlier she was extremely confident in her work, besides the day of our wedding we became tired of decision making, and trusted Lisa to capture beautiful moments before, during and after the ceremony/reception. We hired Lisa to photograph our wedding in 2005 and were not happy with the experience. She seemed great initially, but the day of the wedding, she was abrasive with family (to organize shots) and did not deliver the quality that I expected after meeting her and seeing her portfolio. All of the group shots in the church were off-center too. She haggled with us over prints and negatives. All in all, I could have gotten the same or better result from a photographer who charged 1/2 of what she did. I wish we could do it over, but that's the thing about weddings, you can't! read more

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Aimage and even hired them to come from Austin to San Antonio to do our wedding/reception. We were not disappointed with the the pictures and thought they turned out great. On top of it, I thought that the owner Lisa was terrific "herding" our family members to where they were supposed to be (or more appropriately out of where they weren't supposed to be) in a very professional and entertaining manner so that we could get the pictures done and to the reception so that I could start having fun. She got it all done quickly and efficiently. Also, the quality of the images were great. We had a night time reception on the Riverwalk so I was a little concerned about what the lighting would look like but they all looked good. We chose Lisa and Don to be our wedding photographers and I am so glad we did! I reached out to a lot of photographers trying to find the right one for my wedding and was disappointed. We met Lisa at an open house that our venue held, and her personality attracted us instantly. You could tell she is passionate about what she does, and glancing through her portfolio showed that she knows her craft well. We booked her for our engagement session and had such a good time at the shoot! She made great use of the lighting, landscape and gave us a lot of good poses to do. Here's where you failed us, Lisa: * You were rude and boorish to a lot of our guests as you set up shots, despite everyone's best efforts to follow your vague instructions. * My husband told you his parents are divorced--that they're very uncomfortable around each other. Why, then, try to pose them together on several occasions? * You never took two pictures in a row without making at least five seconds of adjustments to your camera (even though the lighting hadn't changed, and no one had moved.) This caused group shots to take over an hour, and it caused you to miss a lot of spontaneous moments. * When you did miss that decisive moment, you tried to make up for it by having us artificially recreate it. And then we had to fake the magic of that fleeting moment for minutes at a time as we listened to, "[click] Wait. Hold on a second... [click]... Ok, wait..." * This one is huge: we asked for untouched copies of everything. You ignored us. We asked for color photos. You ignored us. We could have overlooked the amateurish photoshop kludges you used to cover up your mistakes (out of focus, underexposed shots, poor depth of field, washed out...) if we could have gone back to the originals and fixed them ourselves. But you saved over them! You saved over the color photos we wanted with black and white. You used the sharpen tool on key shots until they were pixilated garbage. For all your diva temperament and 'artiste' breeziness, I'm sorry, but you're a hack. I'm leaving this review because the more I think about it, the more I realize I would have been heartbroken if my family of amateur photographers hadn't picked up your slack--if all we had to look back upon were the photos you delivered. Nobody deserves that. Certainly not at the prices you charge. read more

Lisa and Don were my wedding photographers last year, and I absolutely loved their work. They did such a wonderful job capturing the special moments and turning them into beautiful lasting memories. I must say that many of the pic's are much more than just photography; they are art. I have so many beautiful pic's that it's hard to narrow down my favorites. Lisa is a superb photographer. We used her for our engagement photos, bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner and wedding. She was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and we couldn't be more pleased. The pictures she takes are phenomenal. She has a great range and can do any type of picture you want from artistic to traditional. She has a good eye but responds well to pictures of what you want. She gives great instructions for the subjects. She was also easy/flexible to schedule appointments and was relatively easy to get ahold of. She worked well with the venue, our guests, and even children. Another plus is that while our contract time specified 1 hour for engagement and bridals she gave us about 3 hours (for each sessions) without extra charge. We also had over 4,000 pictures from our wedding which is amazing considering everyone wants something different. Her husband Don, was also excellent as well and is easy to work with, takes great pictures and handy if you need any last minute things fixed. We paid for a package to have the three sessions (engagement, bridal, wedding) and the rehearsal dinner was extra but extremely affordable considering she had not booked another event. From those sessions we got all the images. The bridals we did not get the rights to and had to buy the images but she reduces the prices significantly on the first viewing. We had to pay extra for an album but we really feel it was worth it to have her eye put everything together for us. We will definitely use her again in the future for all our picture needs. read more

Lisa took our engagement photos and she and Don took my bridal portraits, and the wedding pictures. The engagement photos were wonderful and very personal. Since my husband and I are both Longhorns, Lisa suggested we take the photos at the University of Texas. As corny as it sounds, I felt she really captured our love and happiness in the photos. My bridal portraits were taken at Villa Antonia and they also turned out to be beautiful. I received a countless number of compliments. The way Lisa and Don use light amazes me and they have a unique ability to utilize the environment to enhance your photos. All of this really contributed to my bridal photo session turning out amazing. The day we picked one to put up at the wedding Lisa sat with my sister and I for 3.5 hours sifting through photos to choose our favorites. She sincerely cares about the people she is working with. The wedding photos, all 1405 of them, were wonderful. They captured so many special moments of the day in such wonderful ways.
