How often do you have the opportunity to board a small open hangar craft and feel the wind blow by you as you soar over the world beneath you?! Not often at all. Mike was our pilot. He must be one of the friendliest guys I've ever encountered in quite some time. He gave us some nifty leather caps and a mic set so we could talk and hear from each other throughout the flight. You can tell Mike really gets a kick out of the joy others experience through flying with him. What I appreciated the most about this experience was how the plane was constructed. He answered our questions and was very confident and calm. Our brother learned a lot while we were the passenger princesses in the back. It's very tight and my 6'4" brother barely fit. It definitely feels like a rollercoaster at times with how delicate the controls are. Even just going slightly down or up had those stomach drop feelings. I definitely recommend taking anti-motion sickness medicine if you're sensitive. The views are definitely amazing on a clear day and the helicopter was mostly glass. 30 minutes was a good amount of time and went by slowly. Definitely recommend to try once as it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We went over the LA, Palos Verdes, and Long Beach area. Our pilot was great! (I believe his name was John?) He was very knowledgeable of the areas and even took us over our neighborhood! We had the option of bringing a picnic to enjoy in their lounge area before the flight, and they also gave us champagne which was a cute touch. I came up with the gondola ride since I had gone on it many years ago & was so happy that they were still around. We booked it at sunset & I actually surprised my husband with a custom-made song of our 20 years together. I wanted it to be a surprise, so I called the company to let them know of my plan and Julia made sure to send the link of the song to my gondolier. We got Jack for our gondolier and let me tell you, he was perfect. He made our night very special and was very informative of the houses and history of the canal. He picked the perfect time to play the song and made the entire experience perfect. I highly recommend this for any special occasion. I definitely want to go back for the holidays to see the lights.
