A second opinion by a licensed contractor contradicted most of Air Quality pictures were supposed to reveal. Mold levels were a small fraction of we were told. Mold levels were greatly exagerrated and some moisture issues were completely wrong. False positive readings of a moisture meter necessitated us taking down an entire wall that turned out to be bone dry. Pipes give moisture meters bad readings, Air Quality knew or should have known this. Our ductwork , according to the A/C, was the finest installation he'd ever seen. Air Quality led us to believe it was a toxic waste dump. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Facts : Mr Baranzani spent 4 hours in our house Mr Baranzani left us his business card Mr Branzani did not return our calls. Moisture meters do NOT detect mold. Moisture meters are inaccurate when walls have metal studs, nails, and wires. We were NOT advised of potential inaccuracies. We acted on his findings and needlessly spends hundreds of dollars demolishing a wall and now have to repair it. Mr Baranzani took dozens of pictures of his moisture meter readings in front of walls with metal pipes showing excessively high readings. Had we acted on his guesswork, we would be out thousands of dollars. The "possibility" of moisture is a worthless generalization. I want to start off by saying that Air Quality Experts are wonderful to work with. They responded promptly, scheduled an appointment for the very next day, and even bumped up our appointment for an earlier time when we requested it. The property management for our rental has been very shady with our mold issue so we decided to hired Air Quality Experts to do a private inspection. Adrian was the specialist that came to do the inspection. I do have to say, this man deserves a gold medal. Upon arrival he was very nice & started the inspection immediately. Unfortunately 20 minutes or so into the inspection we had to endure a very hostile & rude maintenance supervisor from the rental that tried to prevent us from completing the full inspection, he kicked Adrian out of the apartment, and physically barricaded the door so we couldn't get it and complete the inspection. I was alone & my husband was not there so I was at a loss on what to do. Adrian was very patient & honestly, I felt like I had a friend more than a stranger who'd I just met. I decided to call the cops so they could come and mediate the situation. Adrian waited outside in the heat with me, when the officers showed up they mediated the situation and Adrian was able to go back in the apartment to complete the inspection. I felt so bad for Adrian because the maintenance supervisor was still yelling and being irrational, Adrian never lost his cool, was super professional, reassured me that he got everything that he needed for a full inspection. River did an amazing job when he did the mold inspection for our home. We had two claims going with the insurance company but only thought we could submit a mold claim for one of them. River asked about the other claim and said he could also complete a report for the other area of our home. He was very friendly and professional while completing the tests and called as soon as the results were in. The results were what I expected--good news in three areas and bad news in one area. Can't say enough good things about my experience with Niv, his crew, their professionalism and expertise. I was in search of a company that could test my home asap for mold.
