Needed new system and Jonathan and Lynn came out to give me a quote. Very reasonable and install could be done following week. Would take approx 3-4 hrs total. They pulled permit, scheduled install for today. Said they'd be here between 8-10 am. They were here before 9 and began work right away. Very quick and cleaned up all old materials to haul away. Air rescue has been a wonderful blessing to us!! A great family business. 2 years ago they came in an emergency situation in August when it was 98 degrees! They installed a new air conditioner for us!! They were fast and friendly and very professional. They come yearly for a maintenance check and your first check is free. They communicate extremely well. When they're coming and updates of how far away they are! They just came and rescued us again!! We had a hole in our duct and they quickly repaired it! The next day they called to ask how the temperature was in our house. Who does that?? Air Rescue is like having family members that you look forward to seeing... when they come to rescue you!! My mom bought a house about a year ago in Oak Run. She planed on moving right away but had some health issues and the house sat for a year. A nice neighbor kept the AC on 79 and checked on the house for her. When we got here last Saturday we could not get the air conditioner to go below 74°. On Tuesday I called Air Rescue and Lynn got back to me right away and was able to come that night but it was going to be too late so we made an appointment for the next day. Jonathan showed up at perfect timing because the unit in the garage started dumping water all over the moving boxes that the movers place in the garage under the unit. He immediately helped me and my mom move the boxes and held the bucket under the water pouring out to further avoid additional damage. Jonathan blew out the lines and even had to extend the pipe or something, it needed 2 pounds of Freon (I think). He explained that he could add the Freon but he's not sure how long it would last because the unit is so old. He checked the condenser and said it was fine so we should be good. My mom said go ahead put the Freon in and we've been enjoying the nice cold air. After he left I had to text Lynn because I forgot to ask him where the air conditioning filter went and how often should be changed and she said 2 to 3 months and for my mother to call them when she was ready to change it and Jonathan would show her how to change it at no cost. The price was extremely fair and I feel Jonathan went above and beyond. read more

Our AC decided to quit running this afternoon around 5:00 pm, right at the hottest part of the day. We called and Jonathan came out, a little after 7:00 pm. He took a look and it seems that the capacitor that was in the system was the wrong size, way too small for our unit. He replaced it with the correct size and gave the system a once-over. Things are back to normal and cool again! He also was very friendly and personable and didn't try to sell us something that wasn't needed, which I really appreciate. I had multiple quotes on installing a completely new air system for my 5000 square foot home in Silver Springs Silver Meadows. One group was highly recommended from Ocala Heating and A/C. Another from Belville. After meeting the people at Air Rescue, and listening to what they said, they assured me that the new ducting and compressor/air handler would exceed my expectations. They were right! The new unit is quiet, EXTREMELY efficient and the new ducting throughout left the air throughout the home smelling garden fresh. What a difference! Equally important, their pricing was WONDERFUL! Even the inspector who examined their installation commented that it was probably one of the very best installs he'd ever seen. They even painted the air handler box with white enamel so mold and condensation won't form. Jonathan, the owner, and Lynn, who keeps things organized and orchestrated make this cumbersome project seem like a picnic. They did so well that I even hired them afterwards to blow new insulation throughout the attic which also saves on cooling and heating costs. I've had three systems installed in three different houses over the last 12 years and this one is the BEST. If you're thinking of using someone else . . . don't bother. Quick response. Great communication. Our unit was "frozen". Jonathan advised on turning the unit off but leaving the fan on and defrosting the unit for four hours. He then came back and recharged the unit. He diagnosed the problem as a small leak within the condenser coils, suggesting we call him in eighteen months to recharge it again. THE BEST PART...instead of trying to sell us a new unit, as most others would have, he said we should just call him every eighteen months until the issue became non-fixable. Only when pressed for the approximate cost/brand of a new unit did we discuss same. Our discussion centered on Carrier, Trane (existing unit), Lennox and another which he would NOT recommend so I won't mention it. When the time comes, we will likely opt for a Lennox as Carrier and Trane are no longer built will the quality of the past. As a retired engineer, I have NO RESERVATIONS recommending this husband/wife owned and operated business! read more

Our AC started leaking water under the flooring which we didn't notice till the rug outside the room the AC is located in was soaked. The first available appointment with a different company was 3 days from then so we called Air Rescue and was told they'd be there within a few hours.
