Recently, we were in the market to purchase a new refrigerator for my home, here in Citrus County, Florida. After some research, I contacted a local company, Beacon Services and Appliances and my phone call was immediately answered in a polite and courteous manner. I spoke with Alyceea, who was very personable, and explained the situation to her. After some discussion, she assisted me with quickly finding the perfect item that I was looking for. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as it pertained to the inventory that she had in stock or would be able to order for us. Subsequently, we were able to schedule delivery and installation within a very reasonable time frame. On the day before, and the day of the impending delivery, I was contacted by Anette, who kept me informed of the delivery every step of the way. Andrew, the area's installation technician, responded to our home at the stated time as promised and installed the new appliance without issue. Andrew was very courteous, and throughout the entire process, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything in the process from beginning to end and it was ultimately a quality installation completed in a timely manner. I have to say that this company really has it's act together in every way and we couldn't be happier with our new appliance. i have a new ac/repair place. The hours on yelp are wrong it is 8:30-4:30 but was not a issue for me. My ac went out at 1:00 am and I left a message for them at 8:24 am. Kathy returned the call before 9:00 am and worked to get me fit into the schedule before it got to hot. That was between 11:00 and 12:00. thinking I probably wouldn't see them until 12, by 11:30 Austin arrived. He was personable and answered all my questions, even ones that had nothing to do with the A/C. Some my ice-maker on my fridge is not working and believe me when I can they will be called to fix it. As for the price, the same thing was wrong this time that was wrong approximately a year ago. That time at a different a/c place I was charged $190.00 from Beacon I only paid $155.52. So for service, price and technicians I would highly recommend Beacon. read more

The Tech that came by was courteous, neat, and professional. I was once in the tech/sales side of an A/C business in Pinellas county, (fired for not ripping people off), so I have a somewhat jaundiced eye for these guys that come to your house and try to sell you stuff you don't need or want. Beacon sent their guy out, I showed him the unit, described the problem, and he got right on it. I have a cheap unit, (Broan), and this guy found a factory quality control issue that two other companies I had out here missed. Some insulated tape over a vital part they neglected at the factory.., bada bing! Didn't charge me an arm and a leg, stuck around to back-check his work to make sure that was the issue. Exceptional service at a great price with top quality products! They replaced my main air conditioning system and my electric bill was half of what it used to run in the summer and they installed a mini split in my office that has given years of great service. When my a/c went down in the summer time they went out of their way to offer me a portable unit to cool part of the house until we could get the a/c done since I had an infant in the house. We have been with Beacon Services several years and we have a PMA account with them. Our a/c went out on us Sunday, so I called them. They called back within the hour and was at our house an hour later. Austin was the tech and he was outstanding on how he represented himself and preformed his work. This does not surprise me, because over the years I think we have meet all of their techs and all of them are outstanding. Chris came to check out my dryer after I had several people look at (1 being a local company that was useless and cost me money but never fixing it). Chris was awesome. He found the actual problem really easy and we will be ordering the part (and hopefully after a month of not having a working dryer) we will have one in the next week. These guys are great. We ordered a dishwasher form Beacon. While we were waiting for delivery our old one gave up the ghost. Beacon supplied us with a loaner and installed it no additional cost next day. Could not be happier with the service. Amazing people, service is thier specialty. But more than that they are a company that cares about you. They care that your air conditioner has stopped working or that an appliance has broke down. Beacon had the washer I wanted in stock and delivered it less than 2 hours after I bought it. The sales woman was very knowledgeable as were the delivery guys. The men took great care to remove my old machine and install my new one with no damage or mess. They made sure I knew the basics and who to contact if I needed help. read more
