My boyfriend and I took our dog here a few months ago and it was terrible! They cut her ears and other spots on her head as well as a few spots on her back! Unfortunately we didn't noticed until we got home and she started whimpering every time we got close to her head! I know for a fact our dog is not squirmy so this shouldn't have happened but on top of that they never even told us! Very disappointed, we will never go back. read more

I took my 3 pound 12 year old yorkie here and they accidentally nipped not one but both of his dewclaws on his back legs resulting in him needing to be put under and have surgery. They handled the situation terribly; blaming my dog for the mishap and not wanting to pay the bill. Everyone please if you care for your dog you will not take them here. They need to be put out of business. Sure they shaved my dog when I told them not to but the issue is much greater than this. I picked up my dog to find large cuts and scabs on her belly, legs, and private parts. The infection got so bad that I had to take her to emergency that night. Maybe these things can happen while at a groomer but what happened next is unreal. When I called them the next day the owner told me that any dog that puts up a struggle deserves to be cut, to get over it because my dog won't die from it and that she doesn't care if she lost me as a customer because she has hundreds more. She also told me that if my dog is suffering I deserve it because I let her get knots in her fur and therefore I am abusing my dog and the only reason I am complaining is to find an excuse for someone to pay my vet bills. People please, I am not looking for a refund and I can pay my vet bills. I can not have this happen to another dog. DO NOT LET THIS DEVIL TOUCH YOUR DOG. It's a week later and my dog still can not stand or walk and she has the nerve to yell at me over the phone and blame me for everything. We have used the dog and pony for yrs, for both daycare and grooming every 2-3 months. The last couple of visits, we had been noticing a changeover in staff, and less and less quality of service, grooming, and nail trimming. This past Monday we brought our dog in for a groom, and nail trim, the appointment was for 12.00, when we had arrived they informed me that it was going to be a little longer than usual due to falling behind on grooms. They said it would be 2, when they would be finished, I had no problem with this. I came back at 2.15 since i still had not gotten a call from them, I ended up waiting an extra 15 minutes in the store for them to finish up. The grooming fees have went up by $10.00 since christmas.When i was taking my dog home, of course like any other dog, they get excited when they get into a vehicle. To my dismay he had covered my seats with blood, they cut 2 of his rear paws nails way to short, into the quick's, and he was bleeding everywhere. When we phoned back to let them know, Laurie, the owner answered, and the only thing expressed was that "he was fine when he left." So now i have to pay out of pocket to get my seats and interior shampoo'd to get all the blood out. I'M positive that we will be looking for a new groomer. This kind of attitude, and lack of care and attention, only makes me angry to have trusted them to look after my little family member in the first place. read more
