In search for some R&R after a week of traveling in Spain, we came here a month ago to see if their experience was on par with their marketing. Overall rating based on: Space (design/layout/ambience) - 2.5 Service - 4 Amenities- 2 Space: stepping into the establishment, the dim atmosphere is accented by a meditative soundtrack, and the decor hints of North African influences. After checking in (booking completed online or over phone in advance), they usher you into a waiting area--a double-story courtyard with greenery and several seating arrangements of ottomans and divans centered around low tables offering warm sweet herbal tea or cold water. The staff instructs you to cover your shoes with plastic coverings that they provide to avoid soiling the interior floors, and then you wait to be called and brought into the changing rooms, just a short walk upstairs. Walking out of the changing rooms you walk into the coed bath pools and sauna room area, where clients in swimsuits and robes can sit and unwind in between dips in the pools. A couple rinse-off shower areas outside the pool and sauna, and also low tables set up with water and sweet tea. The regular warm bath is in the main pool room, w/ small hot and cold pools adjacent exterior to this pool. The cold one probably fits two people comfortably; the hot one 4-6. I enjoyed the salt water pool the most, easier to float and fit about 8-9 people comfortably. As some other reviewers mentioned the temp isn't that warm (maybe 78-80ish degrees F)in the regular and salt water pool, but in the sauna with 100% humidity it's a very warm 95+ degrees F. They also imbue the steam with some type of eucalyptus/lavender scent but the minty-ness of the eucalyptus is quite strong. It clears your sinuses but isn't for everyone. The size of the interior space is on the smaller side considering the capacity. I came on a weekday night at 9pm during off-peak season and walking into the waiting area and subsequently the women's locker room, both areas looked to be at 75% capacity. However in the walkways bath pool areas, the amount of people when we arrived felt around max capacity for comfort. If you booked a massage, once informed by the staff that your appointment was starting, you head upstairs from the bath pools to the massage room. This is a dimly lit, open space with about a dozen tables and masseuses, sheer curtains dividing sections of the room. They seemed very conscious about settling in one person or couple at a time, to avoid disturbing others, but overall it felt a bit cramped and without privacy considering you are topless laying about 5-6 feet from another table. The massage itself was a bit lighter pressure than I normally like, but considering the slight communication issue (below) I didn't mind and enjoyed it. Service: the staff was cordial through the entire experience, providing explanations for each step of the process. Inside the changing room there was a staff member handing out water shoes, robes and towels. With no clocks inside the pool areas, you rely on the staff to call names each time an appointment is starting. Mine started a bit later than scheduled, but I didn't mind since it meant more time in the pools and sauna. Not knowing what time it was, I checked in a few times with the staff, to be informed my appointment was not up yet. During the massage, considering my lack of Spanish language skills, I had a difficulty explaining which areas to go easier/harder on, though I felt the masseuse tried her best to understand. Amenities: I appreciated the L'occitane shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and the bath robes for wearing between the pools and other areas. There are hooks outside each area to hang up your robe when not using, however outside the main pools there was a dearth of open spots during the busiest time. The aforementioned water shoes were useful considering how wet the spa spaces are, helpful to keep you from slipping, however not very comfortable for walking, like wearing wet shoes. Aside from the nice wash gels and yummy tea, this felt like a no-frills spa. There are shower stalls, two single bathrooms and two mirrored double-sink areas inside the women's changing room. Basically no other amenities except a hair dryer, one trash can; no tissues, hand towels, or plastic bags for putting your wet swimsuit into. I peaked into the special room for the wine soaking experience, which looked nice and mostly private. I would suggest the management to add some method of drying off feet and shoes before walking into the changing areas. The water shoes are great to prevent slipping, but basically the entire changing floor is wet which makes it difficult when you're trying to change into and out of your dry clothes. Also would suggest more curtained sections in the massage area for more privacy.

Amazing. So worth it. Best money I've spent in Sevilla. I was lucky enough to score a last mi the appointment due to a cancellation and thoroughly enjoyed the wine spa experience. The staff is just incredible, friendly and lovely. The spa itself is not as spacious as the ones I'm used to in NY but it's a serene and beautiful space. I love that they provide you with bathing suits and slip-free water shoes. The general area includes 3 rooms: warm/hot/cold pools, pool with jets, and the salt baths. The salt baths are the coolest. It's basically like a sensory deprivation room (but other people might joint you). You just float in the salt water and it's shallow (so no scary, even for someone who can't swim like me). The massages are really wonderful and I felt super rejuvenated after 10 days of traveling. It's really different that they do facial massages and the environment is super relaxing. The wine bath is super cool as I'm lead to a roped off area in a giant granite tube with jets and two walls of empty wine bottles. I get in and they turn the facet on and "wine" comes out to fill the tub. Being me, I tasted the liquid and it tastes like water..guessing it's really diluted? I'm left alone to bask and sip on a glass of wine (you get a choice of red or white). After 15 minutes, my girl comes back and gives me a mini-facial and hair mask. Then I'm escorted to the rooftop terrace to enjoy the views of the cathedral and giralda with another glass of wine, cheese and some grapes. You're not allowed to take photos in facility but since I was alone at the terrace, I snuck a few! Highly recommend this experience. Will def want to check out the New York location.

Holy. Cow. This was my first time experiencing a bath house and I am so so glad we went. You go in and wait in this beautiful courtyard, where there is tea and water waiting. You get shown to the locker room where you can put your stuff away and change into your bathing suit. After that you are free to roam to the different baths. Our favorite was the salt bath! There's a giant tub of salt that you can scrub yourself down with and then just float your troubles away. The steam room would have been the standard steam room if not for the amazing peppermint aromatherapy. I could have stayed in there for hours. The jacuzzi, and the different temp pools were nice and relaxing. What really makes this place is the ambiance. Dim lighting, gentle music and areas to relax with tea and water. It was a highly relaxing and great end to our vacation. We also got a massage which was fabulous! We happened to get a great deal online that I believe is only available on Monday - Friday during certain times. It came out to about $55pp for 90min in the baths and 30min massage. When you go to make your reservation, make sure you ask specifically about the special because they don't offer up the information.

Follow the winding cobblestone of Calle Aire to an inconspicuous doorway that hides a semi-luxurious hammam. I appreciate how they repurpose the original buildings, the vibe is that you've been transported to North Africa. You can immerse yourself in different temperature pools (sequential, tepidarium, and caldaroum), or chill on marble chaises with water jets and enjoy the relaxing sound of waterfalls. You also have the option of immersing yourself into a wine pool, which was very unique. The rooftop pool had a spectacular view of the cathedral and 360' of Seville. This bathhouse was coed and I much more preferred the private baths of Evora, as it was more tranquil. The staff were okay and the massage was just MEH. I would do it again even to just sip some cava while admiring the gorgeous panorama of Sevilla from the rooftop pool. read more

This is literally the first time I've ever left a negative review for any business. I've just never felt compelled to before. This was such a disappointing experience. We were so looking forward but from the moment we arrived, the staff felt absolutely uninterested and disengaged (no one offered a tour or any introduction to the place), the whole place felt unclean (they allow street shoes in the dressing room (yuck), among many other issues), two of the showers didn't work, and the signage all over is just terrible. We stayed 20 minutes and couldn't wait to get out of there. I would not recommend this place. For reference, we went to a very similar place in Grenada and it was wonderful. read more

When I think about some of the top tier experiences of my life up to date, my spa day at Aire Ancient Baths in Seville always comes to mind. I truly feel blessed that I was able to experience one of the few Aire locations while visiting Spain (I believe there are 9 total, worldwide). I have looked up several of the other locations and I have to say, the Seville location is one of the most beautiful when it comes to the rooftop pool and views. From start to finish, the time spent at the antient baths is such a vibe. The bathroom/locker room alone is enough to be swooned over. They offer comfy robes/slippers/towels and a locker to leave all your personal belongings. And if you need to take a shower after your service has ended, they have full baths with high-end toiletries and vanities to do your hair/makeup (hair tools provided if needed) which I thought was so convenient if you plan on continuing on with your day, exploring the city without having to go back to your hotel/Airbnb to get ready. I went with the package that gives you access to all the different baths/1 hour massage. I loved that you have the option to go to whichever bath your little heart desires before your massage. My personal favorite was the jacuzzi as its large and there are several closed off areas if you want privacy while relaxing. It literally feels like you're in a cave. The salt bath was just as amazing. I didn't have time for the wine bath or sauna, but sitting in the courtyard surrounded by trees and access to the outdoors before my massage made up for it. There was also a wide variety of refreshments in the courtyard...infused water, tea, coffee. My one hour massage was incredible. I am extremely picky when it comes to massages and the masseuse who gave me my one hour massage did not disappoint. I literally fell asleep, I was so relaxed. Access to the rooftop pool overlooking the cathedral, beautiful alleys and buildings of Seville while sipping champagne and snacking truffles was the prefect ending. I definitely had a "life doesn't get much better than this" moment several times while at Aire. Aire Ancient Baths is one of the most luxurious spa experiences you could ask for. I can't speak for all the locations but the Seville location is amazing. Among the baths, massage, hospitality and views, I truly appreciated that cellphones must be left in lockers which makes for an intimate/private experience where you're able to truly be in the moment. If you're ever in Seville, Aire Antient Baths should be on top of your to-do list. read more
Baths were fine, but staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming from the moment we entered to our exit which ruined our time here. Most unrelaxing spa experience I've had. Highlights: - Different types of baths: active jets, large medium heat, smaller hotter, cold plunge, and sea salt. - Jet baths: I enjoyed the seats you could stretch out and have quite aggressive jets massage you. - Sea salt: was nice to relax and float in. - Sauna: very spacious and had a minty air - Tea: iced hibiscus type forgot was chilled and refreshing - Decor: liked the dark red textured walls and large glass hanging lanterns. - Cava and chocolate: fun option to add a glass with chocolate truffle - like balls and consume in the relaxing square. Lowlights: - Upon entry they seemed annoyed we had 6 people and luggage which was not a great start. For a relaxing day, you expect to be kindly and calmly greeted so you feel welcome. - Ushered us through like cattle - No communication: if you booked a treatment they said they'd come get you and my friends were waiting a long time - Understand wanting a quiet atmosphere but felt more like strict nuns enforcing it by aggressively shushing people vs cultivating a calm environment - Crowded: so many people in the baths that went beyond what was quoted as capacity. - Changing areas: very musty, cramped, and unpleasant. - Showers: what I was looking forward to but nothing special: only a large rain head with medium pressure and temperature. - After we all changed out of our swimsuits they asked if we wanted to use an extra pool on the roof which was weird - After changing we needed water so went in to get some on the way out and they chased my friends and told them no they couldn't have any. Very unprofessional and the most unpleasant ending to our visit. Horrified at how poorly this place treats their customers and didn't deliver on a pleasant relaxing experience we went there for. read more

The massage was horrible. Zero pressure. I get massages all of the time and this was the WORST one I have had in 10+ years. The customer service was bad. No one asked me about my treatment. I emailed the contact us email to let them know about my service and received a quick reply that management would be in touch soon. Still waiting...... We felt like we were just a number. I do NOT recommend!!! read more
Me and my wife had a blast here! They don't allow any fotos or videos inside the spa so the only one we took was of the entrance before you go to the spa area. The vibe was tranquil, the spa was super clean, the variety of baths offered was awesome, and the other amenities were spot on. For all of that, this spot gets a five star rating! They had a steam room for getting rid of impurities. They also had a flotation pool full of saltwater for relaxing. On top of that they had an area with A bubbly jacuzzi, and pools with three different temperatures. The large one was warm, the two smaller ones were hot and cold respectively. In addition to that they had an area for sitting and relaxing with some tea. They also offer other amenities such as massages and cocktails if you pay a premium entrance rate. We had such a good time that we decided to go back a week after our first visit! If you are in Seville or in one of the other cities where they have locations, I highly recommend giving this spot a try. It is great for couples, groups of friends, or just a relaxing day by yourself! read more

If you want privacy do not go here. Confusing logistics and crowded. Pools are small and water was luke warm. The booties and robes they give you get wet and cold. Then just as I am looking forward to a massage we are taken to a large open room where many others are in various stages of massages (noise as each comes and goes). Absolute worst part was then having to stay in my wet bathing suit for the massage. Who does that?! Not something I wanted to add to my bingo card. Uncomfortable experience all around. read more
Such an awesome experience. One of my favorite spas of all time. Recommend going around sunset, so you can catch some of the light through the hammam baths and some of the nighttime feel. There are 4 baths on the main level, and a tiny rooftop pool you get access to after the massage. I love the no phone policy, it creates a relaxing environment. Agree with most reviews that the baths are definitely worth the money, the massages are good but not amazing. The scrub is kind of intense - it's not a sojo Korean day spa feel. It's not a super private feel- just an FYI. The paper swimmies post scrub are weird but I get why they do it. Would 100% go back! read more

Me and my girlfriend booked this the day before and it was the most romantic experience. We started with a massage then went onto the rooftop into a hot pool with champagne and chocolates. Then went down to the area where there is hot pools, a steam room and a salt bath. The experience was sensational. They can provide bathing suits if you need. The staff is super friendly and we never felt lost or confused. The massage was nice but if you are expecting a deep tissue massage don't get your hopes up. Overall it was the perfect experience and I 100% recommend it if you are in Sevilla. read more
Sometimes you need a vacation from your vacation. #firstworldproblems I've never been to Morocco, but this beautiful and amazing Moorish style spa is almost like a time warp back to medieval times. Almost... You reserve a two hour block of time for your visit. I've read mixed reviews, but the staff was very laid back for our 6:00pm visit, and we stayed well past 8:00pm on the magical rooftop dipping pool. Ssshhh! 33€ is the basic cost of getting and enjoying the pools and sauna: salt water, cold dunk, and main pool, a jacuzzi style pool, and a sauna. Prices jump from there...treat yourself! If you can't its still an incredible and lovely experience relaxing in these pools. They really limit the number of guests, so its never crowded anywhere. 82€ I upgraded for the "in water" massage, where they float you in the main pool with some floaties. I don't get massages often, but I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and the therapist had just the right amount of pressure. 102€ The wife upgraded to a standard 60 minute massage. She enjoyed it, though note that the massage takes large room with curtains. 6€ A glass of proseco and some chocolates after your massage...so worth it! Rooftop pool: It seems you must pay for a massage in order to be shown the secret elevator to the rooftop pool I'm not 100% sure, but it was awesome with great view of the cathedral. Get yourself a massage! read more
Spanish bath sounds really good in the middle of a long trip. I accidentally discovered this place when I searched for a spa place while i was wandering/getting lost in the narrow streets of Sevilla. And I am glad I went to check it out. The appointment was easy. The front desk could communicate in English with no problem. And they let me check out the lobby before I made my decision. What I like about this place: 1. The atmosphere. Once you are let into the building by the worker, you start to go either downstairs or upstairs through these narrow hallways, and dim lights. It sorta gave you a delusion that time does not matter, nothing matters, just go with your bathrobe and relax. The main bath tubs are situated in a vault-like room where there are arched ceilings and brick walls. It does the job to kinda take you back into some strange world. 2. The hottest tub is hot enough. And there is a cold plunge. (I mentioned the cold plunge because I know that's very important to some people including myself). 3. The salt tub has cool music playing if you emerge yourself into the water. I enjoyed floating on the salt water tub and listen to the music and zone out for a bit. What I do not like about this place: 1. Most of the tubs are lukewarm except for only one. You can't really get anything out of these lukewarm tubs. 2. People sometimes are noisy and since they allow both gender, you see some annoying couples, which takes the experience away. 3. You are required to wear water shoes and bathing suits. I agree with the bathing suits.. it's co-ed, no problem. But the water shoes, they don't feel good on the feet and they take away the relaxing experience. 4. They let people in at the same time. So you would see a large group coming in, getting noisy and crowded, then things get quiet down. I wish they find some other ways to arrange guests. Also, I see many staff members standing around but they are not attending anybody. I don't know why but felt a bit weirded out. I have not yet gone to any other bath places in Spain so I can't say. But I would like to try some other places and skip it the next time I am there. read more

Loved this experience! A good value. I didn't buy into any of the extras like the massages or drinks-- it seemed unnecessary! The pools in themselves were relaxing enough! If you want to be whisked away to another time all while taking a break to relax, this is the place for you. Just a brief walk from the Museo Del Baile Flamenco, this gem can be hard to spot if not for the red banner hanging above. I opted for the €40 deal which includes a 2-hour window of time to use the various baths (hot, lukewarm, warm hydro-jets, eucalyptus-infused steam room, and salt water pools), a 15-minute full body massage, and a small pot of tea with pastry in the upstairs lounge. What's great is the variety of teas, pastries, and even cocktails. The ambiance is something else. Great ambient music throughout, with Moorish architecture, and just enough mood lighting via candles relax the mind. Definitely worth it to book online. Staff is very patient with non-native Spanish speakers (Information is posted in English though and at least one of the staff, perhaps an owner spoke English). Note this is a co-ed facility and you should bring a bathing suit. Also that special footwear, towels, hibiscus drink & water are free. Arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. My masseuse was great in that she focused on my legs, a great way to destress from all the walking in this town. read more
I am a huge fan of thermal baths and hammams. This was ok but nowhere near the wonders of a proper thermal spa. Hot was actually lukewarm, the salt bath was tiny, the hammam steam room was adequate. I had the 30 minute massage. Although I requested super firm pressure, the poor lass hardly got into my muscles. Skip it. read more

Wow. What an amazing experience. Would 10/10 recommend for ANYONE. My grandmother (71) and I went together and both had a fabulous time. The massage was great and everything was very relaxing. I liked the quiet policy for the whole establishment. read more
I had high hopes for this place, having been to a Hammam in Granada which was life changing. The experience here was similar, but much less tranquil. People inside are less respectful of silence guidelines and are often loud and talking, and the staff did not intervene. However, the worst part is that after visiting the baths, all three of us who went got violently ill, with vomiting, fever, nausea, and diarrhea. Not to mention, we told the staff about it and they did not take responsibility. This was the ONLY way we could have all gotten sick because we all got the exact same thing at the exact same time and this was the only place we were all at together.... you do the math. If you go, don't put your head underwater if god forbid any water accidentally gets in your mouth... you may suffer the same fate. read more

After reading reviews, we decided to visit on a weekday, and booked in for 2pm on a Monday afternoon. I'm sure it helped that it was January, so not exactly the high season for tourists, but we didn't find it busy or crowded at all. I think the sessions before and after were busier, based on the waiting room, I'm guessing locals might have their siesta then? You're given a locker and swimming shoes (which you keep on even in the water) and a towel. I was slightly confused, expecting the locker room to be like a gym where you go in one door and out another and spent a while trying to figure it out. Duh! You just go out the door you came in, and then they'll direct you along the staircase to the baths. They do a great job of keeping things quiet, so you'll need to whisper or at least keep your voice down or risk getting shushed, but I think it's worth it for the atmosphere. There's a massive hot tub, basically, with a number of seats with jets. The next room is moderately warm, with a very hot pool and an icy plunge pool. The salt-water pool is further downstairs. After 90 minutes they rang a bell to indicate that it was time to start moving out. It looked like it was worth arriving 15 minutes before your booked session at least, as people were coming in to the locker room up to 20 minutes before the hour. I'd definitely recommend, we really enjoyed this experience and would do it again! Cheaper on weekdays and during the daytime, we only paid 23 euro, which felt like a steal. read more
Absolutely amazing experience and one of the highlights of my time in Sevilla. Highly suggest booking appointments online and carefully reading the various services offered with each package. My friend and I opted to do the cheapest package; which is simply access to all the baths. The staff is incredibly friendly (and beautiful!). They greet you at the front desk and walk you up to the locker rooms where you receive a robe and slippers to wear over a bathing suit into the bath areas. There are about 7 baths all with different purposes and temperatures. My favorite was the salt bath at the lowest level. The water was warm and there was a huge vessel full of sea salt to scrub onto your body, then soak. On the other levels there's a sauna, cold water bath, warm water bath, hot water bath, and jacuzzi. Loved the sauna and the warm water bath, but the jacuzzi was a little too intense. The overall atmosphere of the place is what really stays with you. The low lighting, minimally decorated ceilings and soft music in the background turn the experience into something surreal. Watch out for dehydration and lightheadedness! Luckily the staff thought ahead and they offer unique herbal tea and cool water in the main bath level. Cannot say enough good things about my experience with the Arab Baths. So glad I had the option to try it! read more

Yes. That should be your answer anytime anyone asks you to go here. Now. That should immediately follow your first answer. It's relaxing. Professional. Clean. Dimly lit. Yummy teas and waters served in a lounge room in the midst of all the pools. It's quiet. Candles everywhere. And for 35 euros you can soak and use the services for 1.5 hours. Nice. Go. Now. Fun experience, very different. The roof view in the hot pool is spectacular. My biggest complaint was the service is poor. If you don't speak Spanish and for the first time being there you have no idea where to go or what to do as there are many rooms and floors. The girls working there are too busy to care to tell you and brush you off. I wasn't given a tour but I saw others were so maybe that's why I was lost. They did provide me a new bathing suite which I don't know I needed so that was nice. The showers have good products but no brushes or hygiene tools besides blow dryers and limited after bath supplies. What I also didn't like was my massage ended abruptly when someone came and told my masseuse something. I don't think I got the full hour. Either way it's no Burke Williams but relaxing and a fun thing to do if you have some spare time. THey are open late. read more

Have 2 other sites - one in NY and another in Barcelona. Did the 45 minute couples massage that included time in their baths (warm, hot, cold, salt, and whirlpool) and sauna. Pros: 1) clean sidewalks - they make you wear booties over your shoes when walking to your locker room 2) multitude of baths to use before and after your massage at your own pace - really liked the whirlpool! 3) made the reservation on-line that morning for an evening massage - really convenient! 10 min walk from Cathedral Cons: 1) reused footwear that goes into the water - they give you socks with rubber soles before you go into the bath. Mine had 2 dirt stains on them and everybody wears their socks into the bath read more

What an incredible experience! We traveled to Seville for our honeymoon from the US. We took siesta as an opportunity to treat ourselves to this ancient bath experience. We did the 60 min massage- best massage I have ever received! If I am ever in a city with Zaire Ancient Baths again I will definitely return! read more

Wow -- this is a gorgeous day spa. Absolutely beautiful and I'm already planning my return visit. My only critique: I booked the Aire Mediterranean Ritual. It is described as: Bath + Aromatherapy (90 min.) Vitamin C facial (60 min.) Body Massage (30 min) Total treatment time: 180 min. Definitely did not get 180 minutes. Our show time was 1000; we arrived and were immediately whisked away for our massage. That went straight into the facial for me; afterwards, I guesstimate I had about 15 minutes in the baths before they rang the bell at 1200. A lot of down time during the facial and massage. The massage was more of a "it rubs the lotion into it's skin" than a massage .. a bit more pressure would have been nice. The facial was fine, but I experienced the most down time here .. instead of applying cream and walking away for long periods of time, scalp massage or something else would be nice. The perk to booking the advanced treatments is the rooftop pool -- wow, what a view. Absolutely stunning. The baths are clean, relaxing -- the service is friendly and helpful. Overall, we loved it, and will definitely go back (though not use the same package). read more

Its hard to find a place to relax among the hustle and bustle of this wee charming city. Aire de Sevilla does the job. After being in this beautiful renovated Arabic baths you feel like you are literally floating on cloud nine. The baths are situated lower than street level giving it a very quiet atmosphere. The baths are beautiful. With their high beautifully constructed intricate ceilings. Whenever I could think of an excuse to go I was all about getting the girls or my guy to come with me and spend some time maxing and relaxing. Definitely recommend this place to those who enjoy this kind of thing. read more

We got two 60 min massages and were very disappointed. Super light when we asked for deep tissue. The baths are amazing and very peaceful but I feel if you're gonna try to be an actual spa offering $140 massages, you better be just as amazing. I was really bummed after having walked and carried a heavy backpack all around Sevilla, was looking forward to a really good massage. I should have just stuck to the baths like the NYT article suggested. read more

I visited the Arab baths at Aire de Sevilla with my mom and we both had a lovely time. We got a deal on the website, for the baths and a 30 minute massage for 40 euros a person. The only issue we had was that many people didn't speak much English (my mom doesn't speak any), but we got around fine. There are a number of pools: heated, lukewarm, freezing cold, and salt water, as well as a jet bath and a sauna. The design inside is incredible and interesting to see after visiting the Alcazar, as another example of Moorish architecture. Our massages were nice and we would have loved to stay longer. A great place to escape the heat of Sevilla! read more

After having it be way too cold all over spain in april - we thoroughly enjoyed getting into the warm bathes. The shifting between warm to hot to freezing cold was a new experience and very invigorating. We opted for the 15 min massages b/c we didn't want to spend too much of our 90 mins getting a massage. I was glad we didn't get longer ones b/c the massage was very mediocre. Just felt like someone rubbing oil over my body instead of what I'm used to as a massage. Overall a fun experience read more

My husband and I both loved our afternoon here. Very relaxing and calming, beautiful little quarter it was in, and not near as touristy as I thought it may be. I was a bit concerned it would be kitchsy but it was not AT ALL. Very lovely authentic experience. Would come back in a heartbeat. read more

They don't allow children under 18. And they say that - in Spanish - on their website. But I missed that point. So when we arrived with a 13 year old and a 16 year old in tow, after a long hot day of waking around Seville, we were completely disappointed when the woman at the counter informed us of the "no kids" policy. So why the one star rating for something that was my mistake? Because the woman at the counter could not have been more rude. She was loud and she was accusatory. She made us feel stupid for having made the mistake. And a she made our teenagers - who had been looking forward to the experience all day - feel totally and completely unwelcome. I get why a spa would have a "no kids" policy. I do. (I don't want to be around my kids all the time either.) But there was a way to communicate this in a kind, genteel, customer friendly manner. Foreign travelers make mistakes. While we were in Spain, we no doubt made many. But with the exception of this spa employee, the Spaniards were too graceful, kind and elegant to rub our noses in it. While the spa did not charge us for our booking, they made is feel like crap. Fortunately not all baths take a dim view of children. In Cordoba and Granada, the Hammam al Andalus does not discriminate based on age. And they gave us a lovely experience. So skip Aire in Sevilla, go there instead. read more

-3 Stars Athletic Massage The therapist was so rough and unskilled that the next morning I had trouble walking and had to go to a physical therapist (see 5 Star review for Training for Gold on Calle Castelar) in order to adjust my pelvis that had been jarred backward during the massage session. I had asked for a strong deep tissue therapist but instead got this young guy who was fairly unskilled and rough. At the end of the massage, he placed each knee on each of my glutes and pressed down, I'm guessing with all of his weight. All of my muscles tightened up. I was shocked. I have never had this done before. The soaking in the thermal waters must have kept everything loose enough for me to get back to the hotel that night. The next morning as we set out for breakfast, I could barely walk. My pelvis, back, and leg muscles all seized up and we went back to our hotel to try to get me some help. The hotel referred us to the Training for Gold facility. I would NOT recommend the Athletic Massage to anyone. read more

Go! Just go! Incredibly relaxing, beautiful ambience and very clean. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience spending our team visiting the different bath offerings and getting a 30 minute massage. For us we were just visiting Sevilla and to have the opportunity to relax even for a few hours, was incredible. Also relatively speaking the prices are a steal compared to Aire spa in NYC! read more

Lovely place tucked within the winding streets of Seville however the staff left much to be desired. Our air BNB booked us reservations here as their pool was not working and were turned away by the inhospitable staff. After demanding payment (we were told it was taking care of) and speaking poorly about us while standing there (I speak relatively fluent Spanish and initiated our interaction in Spanish) we decided to leave. Left feeling embarrassed and belittled and disappointed by the whole experience. Probably a great experience if you are not a tourist! read more

Too crowded. Too confusing. Too tight. If you can go at a time when you can avoid the crowds it might be nice. I paid for a massage and access to the baths, but left after my massage because it was too hectic and crowded. I was more relaxed before I arrived. read more

History
Established in 2010.
