The airport personal are efficient and have great English. Always a help!! We used Fast Pass for Security & have European Passports... so at a major advantage. They have a huge Duty Free to browse. We used the Business Lounge and again... small but has everything you could want. Great coffee & a nice selection of breakfast items. Overall my experience at Prague Airport in The Czech Republic was great.

They were amazingly patient with some folks ahead of me: definitely would have tested the TSA's resistance to yelling at them. I didn't experience much of the shopping and dining here but it seemed very generic and non-descript. You'll see stores selling "local" products that are quite pricey, regular chain restaurants, and some duty-free. I only went to the grocery store before security and it was okay, though I'm sure there was an upcharge for the location. The bathrooms are meh but I've seen worse. They're not the cleanest, but, not disasters. The airport has these uber stations to arrange for a ride. I just used my phone and relied on a hot spot. Uber pickup for me was upstairs on the second floor departure level, strangely.

Vaclav Havel Airport Prague - Terminal 1 is also one big airport and still easy to navigate. We were leaving from and the process could not have been easier. we needed (and wanted) lunch and luckily we went to =o the lounge where we had plenty to choose from. They have plenty of restaurants and choices here. So this helped round out an easy voyage. It's was also a very easy to access from the airport from where we were staying... about a 45 minute drive. Our only issue was man-made... we had two big bags packed as heavy as we were allowed. We even had to purchase a duffle bag to lighted and stretch out the load. There was lots of duty free shopping opportunities within the airport, but never felt overwhelmed with the amount of people you would see at a JFK, Atlanta or LAX. Easy mobility throughout. Plenty of clean bathrooms and no charge Wi-Fi that were now seeing in most airports both nationally and internationally. This is always a nice finishing touch while you're waiting for your plane to board. What more could you ask for? Flying in and out of Prague, our experience was great. Started with an early flight and a quick stop into the lounge for a light bite. Clean and easy to find. Flew out of Prague Terminal 2 the other day and it was a quick and easy experience. Arrived to the…read moreairport via the bus/tram 59 and it was merely an escalator ride up to the departure terminal. The bus/tram 59 comes every 3-4 minutes! Self-checking my bags was quick and easy. Security was also quick. Since I was traveling within the Schengen, there were no ID checks during the entire process. There were numerous eateries at typical airport prices, from coffee shops, cafes. Food quality was ok. Departure was on-time!

Slept here overnight in the lounge area so that I could catch my early morning flight instead of…read moreanxiously waking up at a hotel and go through the hassle of checking out, figuring out transportation, and worrying about catching my flight on time. Subway and bus ride to the airport went smoothly. After I went past TSA, I found the relax lounge in Terminal 2 of the Prague Airport, and decided to sleep early and fell asleep on one of their "beds." The lounge area was large and spacious, with plenty of beds, which I'm so grateful for. My leather jacket came in handy because it actually got chilly throughout the night in the airport relax lounge, and I used it as a blanket. I woke up several times throughout the night, and by 5:30am, the hustle and bustle of airport activity was pretty loud with all the people catching their early-morning flights. I didn't mind, as I felt rested enough before I headed to my gate to catch my flight to Helsinki.
