The service they give is excellent, my car is always charged up ready for use on my return. This and Luton are the only car parks that offer a service to charge your car while on holiday. I will continue to use Airparks Birmingham as I can fly all over the world from Birmingham by flying to airport hubs. Well done Airparks, keep up your excellent work.

The ride was like a death race, so fast and very little care taken. Then, to cap it all, they moved my car whilst I was away and when I returned from holiday, the lights had been left on in it by one of their operatives and the battery was totally flat. This type of thing can ruin a battery and since my car is fairly new I complained there and then and sent an e-mail expressing my concerns. They didnt even bother to reply, much less apologise. What a totally dreadful experience to end a holiday and what a terrible company. May I advise all and sundry to steer well clear.

Here, an otherwise disparate group of enterprises have been brought together under one brand; a sense of unity among the rag-tag which is loosely supported by a multi-storey car park, shared escalator and website. Familiar names - mainly fast food, bookies and vendors of shirts worn by those on whom people have a flutter - are to be found, along with independents whose frontages have not changed since 1982. Hamsters, greetings cards and lots of things for under a quid are among their wares. A really good chippy is the best of the bunch. A new and modern annex, which has an almost atrium feel, is a surprise find, but it would seem initially to only serve as an entrance from another compass point rather than a source of a better retail experience. It does, however, comprise an Asda supermarket which is one of the chain's best designs regionally. It helps cut down on the trolley-clashing, marbles-losing frustration usually experienced in two of its sister stores, Minworth and Tamworth.

I have today received a parking ticket of £75 for shopping in the town centre for more than 3 hours on my last visit! I telephoned the shopping centre to be told that a new company has been employed and have installed CCTV. The town centre shops are disappearing one by one. Asda is killing off the shops and I will never return there now having this parking fine. I parked where I always have in the carpark at the bottom of the escalators. This car park is always empty now. I have the same shops closer to where I live and will use them from now on. What a ridiculous thing to advertise a free car park for the shops as the website boasts.

Alongside the new development within the Swan Centre itself, they've created a massive carpark to…read moreenable shoppers to visit the stores and get all their groceries from the huge Tesco Extra. The carpark is free (hurrah! No 'claim back your parking' voucher system here!) and really clearly signposted with big spaces which were clearly thought out by developers - it shouldn't be rocket science to make spaces that fit modern cars, but older carparks suffer from bad planning so much. Anyway - no such problem here. Good work again, developers!

I love this carpark,…read more What i love about this car park is the ability to park cars for free. I always buy so much from Tesco because im a fat boy living in a super models body. I cry my self to sleep every night because of this. But i digress, some car parks of this size are complete messes to navigate and the traffic system just confuses drivers trying to get in and out. Im not totally sure whats different about this one but it just seems to flow a lot better. The fact this place is free and right next to a bust shopping centre means you need to get here quick on busier shopping days to secure your spot.

Birmingham International Railway Station is a pretty cool station, considering it isn't…read moreBirmingham's main station, infact it is around a 10-15 minute journey into the city centre (New Street), with this station serving the NEC and Airport, it is in the Solihull borough of the city and should not be confused with New Street (Some of the photos on Yelp appear to be from Birmingham New Street). The station is managed by Avanti West Coast, with five platforms, as far as I'm aware all services call via Birmingham New Street however services also go to major cities such as Manchester, Bournemouth, London, Glasgow and Reading with services provided by Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, Transport for Wales and West Midlands Trains. The station seemed pretty clean, it is easy to get around the station and access the AirTrain which takes you directly to the Airport, and the walkway which takes you to the NEC and Resorts World. You can continue your journey via the many bus routes which stop right outside, or the Airtrain. There is also a small WHSmith and Subway before the ticket gates which is handy. The staff at the station are friendly and happy to call out, and I look forward to using this station again, it might not be as glamorous as St Pancras / Birmingham New Street but certainly does the job. 4*
