I've used this company a number of times over the past few years. The first several times were…read morefine, but the last two will be just that...the last two times I use Classic. The next to last time was picking me up at an auto shop and taking me a few miles home. The wait time was fine, but the condition of the cab wasn't great - ripped seats, etc. This last time was not a good experience - it was a cold, rainy day earlier this week and I called for a ride. The dispatcher asked my location - another auto shop on Stratford Road. I told the dispatcher the shop is hard to find and it's located between a car dealership and another business set back from the road. The dispatcher also asked my destination. What time was reasonable, driver called to ask where I was and I informed him which shop I was in and he said he was outside. He wasn't. We went back and forth on the phone while I walked outside in the rain trying to find him. He was in one of the other businesses several hundred yards away...in an unmarked SUV. When I got in I asked if the dispatcher had told where the shop was located (since I told the dispatcher)...nope. Then he asked my destination, I asked if the dispatcher had told where the shop was located (since I told the dispatcher)...nope. Then he asked me how to get there. I asked him if he would like me to drive. Cabbies should have maps, a gps, or reasonable knowledge of the community. Then, there was also no meter in the car, so who knows if I am being charged correctly. I asked if I could pay with a credit card. Yes, but no machine in the car, so the driver had to call in to get the charge approved. I was also told there was a $10 minimum charge (the fare was $5). What a mess. As I said, last time I use this company. For background, my grandfather was a cabbie in NYC so I have a good reference of what makes a good cabbie and good car. Classic isn't it.

She has logged a complaint with medicaid and never wants to deal with him again! He's rude, and liar and untimely! I'm about 45 minutes away from Clemmons NC but his drivers will drive the 45 minutes to get to Moravian Falls NC with no problems. My appointment is always early on a Monday morning between 5:15-5:30am I'm usually picked up by 5:10am the driver transports me to North Wilkesboro NC about 15 minutes away. We arrive by 5:30am my appointment is very quick I'm never in there longer than 15 minutes. My driver sits in the parking lot and waits for me to come back out. The driver transports me back to my home and drops me off. My driver is always very respectful and is very knowledgeable about transportation. I couldn't ask for anyone better! They are a 5 star company with 5 star employees! I greatly appreciate the service they provide! I absolutely love to hear that Joe's Taxi is my transportation provider! I recommend the service to anyone issues with getting a ride to where they need to go! They are always on time and they contact you when they are on their way to you! When a nice lady answered I asked for a quote. The figure she gave me for a RF-T to W-S was very close to what Uber quoted, although the latter's prices vary hugely depending on "load." The driver was on premised and whisked me off to W-S promptly. He was an excellent operator -- none of that wacky, stupid big-city driving stuff. Price was fair. Driver was excellent and vehicle (a Honda van) was fine. What's not to like? Oh yes, and they were there when I needed some help.
