This was a great time. We went for a friend's birthday. You legitimately have to peddle they're not…read morejust there for show. I enjoyed our time on the wagon more than stopping at the bars. You can bring your own alcohol on the wagon and it's fun struggling with friends to peddle that thing up a hill (it's a work out!). The bars you stop at have drink specials for the tour, usually shots and you have anywhere between 20-40 minutes at each bar. We stopped at 4 or 5. We picked a few and our tour guide just stopped at a few that seemed to be required stops for them.

I saw three seperate EV charge station areas, one for Tesla, and two other providers. Parking lot is pretty big. Trash cans around perimeter. In October, they had salt available in preparation for snowy weather to come. Fuel stations available for both autos and Tractor trailers. Police cruised thru the area during our visit doing a general check. OH service plazas are all build on a similar foot print and are well maintained.

I was getting tired of seeing so many decommissioned rest areas and was wondering what was going on here. well, if them are making a bunch of this then okay, long smooth entry into a spacious and well reasoned parking area with separate lots for larger and smaller vehicles and other small vehicles besides and except for coming right off the interstate this sort of almost feels like visiting the library, but with way more potties and snack machines. really hope this is a sign of things to come but I'm not holding my breath. this is ohio after all and - the late james trafficant not withstanding - I'm not convinced the locals understand the appeal of nuance, subtlety, and a bit of good natured scandal. ...but in the meanwhile life and travel are rough.

This place was more busier than the southbound location. It's a clean and modest rest area with plenty of parking spaces for cars and trucks alike. Staff here is very friendly and they always have a section open to use the restrooms while the other section is always closed for cleaning. Easy access right back to the highway to continue your way to Bowling Green and Beyond.
