Excellent experience. Traveling internationally with a youngster and luggage. Needed a no nonsense car service to navigate foreign territory for us. Service and communication was excellent. They also patiently accommodated airport delay and lack of mobile service. As soon as I could connect to airport wi-fi they were standing by to receive us. Clean car. Driver was in a suit! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY IF COMING TO LONDON WITH FAMILY! Seemed very professional initially. Paid on line with credit card to be picked up at London Eurostar train station. All details of arrival were given one month prior. As we were arriving at the train station, the driver sent pics of silver van he was in at train station to pick up my family and bring us to Heathrow Airport. This was our first time in the country. We approached the only silver Mercedes van parked where the picture had indicated. Hard to confuse with any other vehicle right?? We checked in with driver and we were on our way (I thought)! 10 mins into ride, driver realizes he picked up the wrong people! Drops us off in the middle of central London with my children--luggage and all! Said they would have someone call back! No luck! Never heard again until I got back to the US and had an absolute horrific exchange with Oliver (should not be dealing with customers) who blamed us for getting into wrong car! He could not explain why he never responded despite being in contact with both the drivers who apologized for their error! And kept our money on top of it!! If you are traveling to London for the first or even second time, DO NOT USE this company! They are ok with taking your money and blaming you for their errors! Driver turned up 40 minutes late to Heathrow for a trip to Gatwick to catch another flight, which had been booked weeks in advance. Dispatch never contacted me to tell me the driver was delayed. After I called them (after initially waiting 10 minutes) they said it would be 15 minutes, but that ended up being a gross understatement. After getting off a 10 hour plane flight, stressing about our connection was awful for myself, wife and two children. No real apologies, no offer of a discount or compensation. It's basically inexcusable for a company, whose sole purpose is to pick people up from airports, to be late, especially due to traffic. which was their excuse. With today's technology, I could even look at the traffic, but there is no way the driver should have even been in any traffic if he had even hoped to be on time. And dispatch should have used the same information to dispatch another driver. Basic incompetence all round, without a sniff of accountability. read more

I work for one of the global company and therefore always on my feet travelling around the different offices around the continent, so therefore I have used many different transfer companies but I have to admit that Airport Pickups London was one of the best, as the cars were very clean and comfortable, the drivers were very friendly and professional and very well dressed. (one star) Avoid this company. We had scheduled a pick up but our outbound flight got delayed so I called in and ask for the pick up to be an hour later. The guy confirmed our original pickup time and said not a problem. We'll he didn't make a note of the request or call the driver who showed up at the original time and then left as we weren't there. An hour later we are talking to a new person who said they had no recorder if the request, knew the guy we talked to but he had clicked off and we were out of luck. No car was coming or will be coming. Asked to talk to a manager but none were available. But we had paid in advance? What do now we need to get to the airport? Was told nothing. Asked for a refund and was told to send in an email. Just avoid this company. Update 8/10/15 (3 stars) Received a nice apology email after they investigated the situation and have put corrective actions into place. They claim they will refund us at which point I will deleted this entry. Update 8/12/15 (4 stars) Resolution. Received a refund for the missed pickup the next day. Although not happy about the mix-up and not getting picked up - They took responsibility and were quick to refund the fee. This company does not honor its online booking price, even after you have received your booking confirmation. NOT HONEST, NOT REALIZABLE!! After I received my online booking confirmation, I immediately received an email from Mr. H. Jimmy to inform me that the price should be 91GBP NOT 81GBP. He told me that 81GBP is for normal car, not estate car. However, the booking confirmation clearly indicated, Vehicle: Estate. After a few emails communication, he told me that its the link issue, that caused this price error. However, I do not believed what he said. I have monitored this site for the last 3-4 weeks before I actually booked it. If there is an issue on the link, they should fix it long ago, not wait until a booking is confirmed. I finally pick up the phone and call them from US. They told me that I can't find other company that is cheaper than 91GBP anyway!!!! So, they are not going to honor it. I cancelled my booking at the same time. Well, for the same amount of money, I would rather find a company that would provide an accurate quote from the beginning and be honest!!! Who knows if their driver will ask you for more money at the time of pickup!!!!! NOT TRUSTABLE. They may use this tactic to lure the customers. read more

After waiting past the pick up time the driver finally arrived at the right terminal even after I specifically indicated where to pick us up. Once the driver arrived he accused me of not putting in those instructions and after I showed him proof that I did he demanded to know why I requested the pick up to be at a different terminal than where the flight details indicated. I have used these guys twice for a return trip and I have to admit that they are the best airport transfer company I have seen as they have been tracking my flight regularly and updating me regularly. Not only this, but they seem to have the latest model cars with very friendly drivers. My return flight was delayed by 3 hours but neither the company nor the driver made a problem out of this where as in the past I paid 20 pounds to a company due to a 2 hour delay in my flight. In terms of the transfer prices, these guys a very competitive. They are cheaper than some of the companies who think they are big, yet airport pickups London exceeds them in comfort and quality. I scheduled a pickup from London Luton to Heathrow, thinking to save myself the hassle of waiting for a taxi. Instead, I wasted time walking around Luton airport looking desperately for a sign with my name on it. I called the 'emergency' phone number twice, and nobody answered either time. I figured I had been scammed online and we ended up taking a regular taxi for 65 pounds, only slightly more expensive than the APL quote. About 10 minutes after we left, I think the APL driver called but I could barely understand what he was saying; perhaps he was finally at the airport. APL refuses to refund my money, so I am disputing the charge through my bank. Save yourself the trouble, just take a regular taxi! read more

I used this company twice during our trip. Once from the hotel to Southampton to the Cruise ship port and then from the Cruise ship back to Heathrow airport. They we GREAT! Going from the hotel to Cruise Port we scheduled a tour of Stonehenge and it was awesome. Drivers were really friendly and vehicles we both Mercedes Benz. There were four of us and we had a total of 8 bags and we were comfortable. I recommend them. I had no trouble and the billing was correct. read more

I scheduled a pick up for an hour and a half after my international flight was scheduled to arrive, figuring that would give me enough time to get through immigration and get my bags. When I arrived (right at the time I scheduled) the driver was very upset with me, claiming he had been waiting for an hour and a half for me to show up. He continued harassing me throughout my trip, claiming I owed him another £10 for being late. I booked a cab mid afternoon for a pick up from London Gatwick Airport at 12.10am (midnight) on a Sunday night, upon landing at Gatwick I received a phone call from them saying sorry sir, we do not have a car for you and we are not be able to pick you up. I live in Central London and had no other way of getting home. They were quite happy taking my money on booking but took them four weeks to refund my money after many phone calls. I managed to get another cab home which cost me over £100 and they refused make up the difference. AVOID THIS COMPANY - BAD BAD BAD. Plenty more reliable companies out there. read more

We landed in Heathrow on December 21st from an red-eye flight. We had reserved the service online where they quoted us £103 for 5 people (4 adults and one 10 month old). The driver "Peter" arrived early, polite and helpful. Because of this, we asked him if we could have him for our return. He said yes and that we just had to email his head office. Once we arrived to our destination, he helped us with our luggage out of the car and we proceeded to pay him £120 with a tip of £17 (we gave him the tip upfront since we were getting him on the way back). He gave us his card and a pen. We were very happy with his service. We contacted Airport pickups London to request Peter and they indicated that they will make arrangements to get him to bring us back. When the car pulled up to bring us back at the end of the trip we noticed that we had a new driver. Once we arrived to the airport, we felt like the driver also deserved a tip therefore I handed him a £10 bill. He pulled out his tablet and indicated that we owed £49. I told him that we were all settled up already. He told me to wait as he contacted his head office. He spent some time on the phone then handed the phone over to me. The person on the other line told me that we had to pay the drivers individually. I told her that we weren't aware of this when we paid the first driver. She replied that he indicated that he showed us a copy of the amount owing (Apparently £54) when we had arrived. I told her that I saw no such thing however we were tired and jet-lagged. She told me that I had to paid the return driver and send an email to set up a refund. Once I arrived back home I sent an email, to which they basically replied that all the drivers are independent contractors and she could do nothing about this since the driver "Peter" conveniently didn't recall that group that gave him a £66 tip a few days before. DO NOT GO WITH THIS CAB COMPANY!!!! I arranged for a cab to pick me up from London Gatwick as I was arriving from Edinburgh this evening. Unfortunately our flight from Edinburgh was delayed by an hour and so, as a courtesy to the driver, I called the company and informed them of my delay. I was reassured that this was not a problem and they confirmed that they actively track the flight and will be there waiting. When I arrived at Gatwick at 12am I approached my driver who said "You are late and I have another job". I kindly explained that I was sorry about the delay, it was out of my control and I contacted the company in Edinburgh to inform them. He said he didn't care, and he refused to drive me. When I called the company to explain the operator said he just started his shift and could be of no help to me. I am INCREDIBLY APPALLED by their lack of costumer service and disgusted about how rude the driver was. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM AS YOU WILL BE LEFT STRANDED AT THE AIRPORT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! read more
