If you need surgery you're a priority but after that, get in line. While some aspects of the practice are as good as they were 5-7 years, others have significantly eroded . Scheduling and communication are two of the biggest negative changes - not sure why, actually, just based on recent experience with a surgeon's medical assistant and surgery scheduler. Our experience included not receiving return phone calls when promised, not honoring commitments to appointments as discussed, and these are things that we as patients can evaluate - as opposed to how great the surgery was.

Next issue was addressed by Dr Even. He has a great group, can't speak highly enough about both Dr Even and his PA Ambrosia. Amazing team. Couple years and I'm back with a hip replacement. Once again, Dr Seroyer does an outstanding job. Back on my feet in 2 weeks. Another 2 years roll by and again I need to see Dr Even. Had to have another fusion and they found a small cyst in L3. After recuperating I was good as new. My latest adventure was another spine issue and Dr Even and his team were just as professional as they were the other 2 times. Still recuperating from the last one. Over my 10 years experience, The Surgery skills and desire to get you up and going again are the best there is. As with all offices, changes have been made and sadly not all for the better. Thankfully, the team of Dr Even and Ambrosia are still intact and I would call them again tomorrow if my back needs work. If my other knee and hip need work, Dr Seroyer will get the call. There are issues getting to see the Drs due to schedules and as such, appointments are given to the doctors PA. Thank goodness Dr Even has an excellent PA with Ambrosia. Never worry about visit with them. They are the Best Drs around. That's the reason the PROs use Dr Meister, Dr Seroyer and Dr Even and I fully understand wht.

Dr. Hopkins was kind, thorough, reassuring, and listened to my desired outcomes and what was reasonable to me. He had a great sense of humor and a warm demeanor. Most importantly, he wasn't doing the "worst case scenarios" thing docs do, or pushing anything unneeded that I've experienced in the medical setting before. I left with an elevated mood because I felt that I best understood the situation, and Dr. Hopkins put me at ease. While I hope that I never lacerate my hand and break my bone again, if I do, I will absolutely go directly back to Dr. Hopkins and his team. For me, referrals, specialists and the idea of surgery is a scary thing, but I cannot say enough for how much I appreciated the approach of Dr. Hopkins. The UTA endorsement, as well as the UTA memoribila was a big plus, too!

However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.

They emailed the hospital on Friday at 3pm to let the hospital know but never once called my sister to let her know. It has been one thing after another with his staff, my sister basically has his office and her insurance company on speed dial because his staff can't see to their job well or at all for that matter, especially Leslie she needs to be fired immediately. Unfortunately, my boy broke a bone... but he was X-rayed and casted at the same visit. We were in and out in 2.5 hours. We were seen by Dr Garff and casted by Jacob. The staff was beyond professional and friendly. You can tell they deal with kids because they were comfortable with the banter between me and my 17 yr old. It's a shock to find out you have broken a bone. They took care and time in explaining what they were doing and why to him. They allowed him to ask questions and they were not phased at the silliest questions. I highly recommend!!!

My mom stayed here for two weeks after a week at the hospital for her stroke…read more To my surprise the space was so clean, no rancid or foul smells. Front desk was always welcoming when we came to visit and left. My mom's road to recovery was a positive experience here with the quality of care from all of the staff - literally every single staff member she came in contact with up until the day she was discharged. They really worked with her and were there for her at every corner and I appreciated that more than anything - especially the days we couldn't be there.

My mom spent weeks there and just got worse. Her memory was bad and was very weak that she could…read morehardly get out of bed and needed 1 to 2 people to assist. I saw her at group physical therapy and the patients would just stare at her while my mom's mind was elsewhere. It broke my heart. She said the therapy was loud and it stressed her out, but he had to be because some people don't hear good, but it was loud and it echoed in the room. My mom is wheelchair bound and they told Medicare that she had walked so many feet which was enough to be discharged. They discharged her with a wound and UTI to Arbrook Plaza for nursing home care. Arbrook Plaza did not give up on my mom. Instead of nursing home they put her in the rehab side of it first and 6 weeks later instead of nursing home she got to come home with no UTI, no wound and her memory and strength is back to where she can transfer herself in and out of wheelchair to her bed or restroom and dress herself. I'm glad Encompass gave up on my mom or else she wouldn't have gone to Arbrook Plaza. Yes Arbrook Plaza is an old building but the quality is great.

My first night there I was checked on in my room around 8:36pm. I was found unconscious at around…read more5:30am. I was in a diabetic coma. They knew upon arrival that I was a Type I Diabetic and that my kidneys just failed. I now can't walk or stand on my own and I have some neurological problems stemming from the lack of responsibility from the night staff here. I went to another therapy center and now I'm in assisted nursing facility with problems from the diabetic coma I went in. No one can figure out how long I was in a coma before being found. I might have permanent damage from this facility. I DO NOT recommend.

As you can see, they will find any way to justify their exorbitant fees and charges. The tape they use can be purchased on Amazon or a med supply site for less. When you are in pain and needing help, the worst thing is having a provider that is fleecing you at every opportunity for their profit. It is shameful and especially when you end up spending more to heal because they were ineffective with their services. No one charges 500.00 for a basic TENS unit. Well, no one but them.

Everyone that did said they'd never want him as a doctor and I'm better off without him. So sad he was caring until I guess the money he was making wasn't enough. They are so slow that it has impacted my insurance payments and I have stopped several times for promised paperwork only to waste my gas. Some are pleasant, others are just rude. The doctor, when you see him for you 15 mnutes in very pleasant. I think they are either understaffed or poorly trained. Either way its not good for patients.
