Enter Dr. Andrew Morchower. I was googling "best pain management doctors in Dallas" and his name came up. I remembered seeing him clear back in 2019. He made an impression then and really listened, went the extra mile for me and the only reason I changed was just I wound up with somebody closer to me. So I went back today and it was even better than 2019. Doctor's that care about their patients truly and think outside the box without gaslighting the patient are pretty rare. They don't look at your story and automatically assume anything... they take the time in the visit to really listen to you and really try to put it together. It wasn't a 10 minute visit. I am medically complicated and I appreciate the vast amount of time given. He ran late, but they didn't realize I was a new patient pretty much. My husband's back has caused him chronic pain after a lifetime of working and playing hard. His ridiculously high pain tolerance and overall fervent belief that Pennsylvania country boys "just rub some dirt on it" have taken their toll. Fifty years of playing ice hockey, football, wrestling, snow skiing, more ice hockey, a few car accidents, and whatever other extreme sport he could get his hands on wore away at his body. And then came The Great Texas Freeze during the week of Valentine's Day, 2021. He slipped on black ice and fell. Hard. All 280lbs of him. On the cement. Even the birds stopped chirping at the sound of his resounding crack. Even though Texas woke up after COVID-19 (blah!), we just couldn't get him to a good doctor. And honestly, we didn't know how badly he was hurt until we saw the X-rays taken at a chiropractor's office. Wow! We tried his primary care physician first, who promptly sent us to that chiropractor, who sent us to a physical therapist, who recommended acupuncture, who insisted it was vitamin insufficiencies, and on and on. All this time, my husband and I prayed for healing, for guidance, and, after the first two years, for a miracle. We researched Dallas-area Spine Doctors and Pain Management Doctors and went... to 3 of DFW's "Top" doctors for more opinions. Each time, we'd jump through their hoops, the insurance hoops, the pharmacy hoops, and we never gave up praying. I always find a parking spot on the outside with easy access available and have yet to enter parking garage but they do have one available. I have been going to get adjustments since it opened with most recent visit being 11/29/23 from Dr.Tim Nawrocki. He is very knowledgeable and not rough like some chiropractors. He's also friendly, punctual, and caring too. I notice that my back and neck always feel better when I keep regular visits. Another amazing experience about this office is it's so easy to book your appointments. If your like myself and only remember things after hours or if you love texting verses calling or both they have an app which is very convenient! I love it and they text you 48 hours before your appointment then 24 hours then on the day of so you don't forget or you have time to cancel because I was getting to that next, they will charge you a fee if you cancel appt last minute but they will work with you as far as if an emergency were to come up so they aren't going to just profit on you being late but they make it hard for you to be late with the reminders. lol! Last but not least, it is not inexpensive but it's totally worth it when your pains start to ease up and you start to feel better. I used to think how can a chiropractor really work on you in 15 min or less but they can if they know what they are doing!
