I recently visited Dr. Hurst for a couple of back issues. I truly do not do any reviews but I he helped me so much that I had to share my positive experience. Dr. Hurst addressed my issue and I walked out of the first visit feeling so much better. His assistant Ron was also extremely helpful in getting me back on my feet. I recently suffered a re-injury to a rotor cuff, which had previously taken months of therapy and rehabilitation to repair. At my initial appointment, I was given a thorough explanation of the Arrosti system, including how the Therapist would manipulate the injury and a detailed demonstration of the "at home" exercises, by the Trainer. The exercises I would follow were available on the Arrosti app and updated at each weeks session. The videos in the app and their methods of execution were clear, also provided in text and included a timer for each exercise. For me, with three office sessions (one per week) and my daily workouts at home, I was able to be discharged. My "at home" program includes continued access to the Arrosti app and recommended exercises targeting my recovery. I will monitor my progress and take the opportunity for reevaluation, if necessary. Training for a double cross of the Grand Canyon I suffered an ankle injury weeks before my trip. Worried I might not be able to check off this bucket list item I was desperate. I had a previous coworker whose husband worked for Airrosti and I'd heard them on the radio so I figured I had nothing to lose. They don't just treat you here they give you the tools to continue treating yourself at home and teach some valuable stretching exercises to prevent further injuries. 3 weeks later I'm 95% healed and ready to head out to the Grand Canyon this weekend to complete my goal. I was struggling with leg pain / ITB from long distance running for over a year. I tried all kinds of "self theray" with no avail. Finally I decided to give Airrosti a try. I am so glad that I did. Dr Hurst took his time, listened to my complaints and did thorough exam. He performed very targeted therapeutic manuvers, prescribed home exercise regimen. They are goal oriented, and try to get you back to being physically capable as soon as possible. They try to understand your condition and work to the best outcome possible. Was referred from a co worker after a conversation about my husband pain. I immediately look into this scheduled an appt the same day, after he went I called to check on him and he told me I had a butt kicking coming, LOL. He said it hurt & he was in more pain, and advised not to do anything the rest of the day, but he went in with a pain level 7 and the next morning he woke up and was a 3 for pain level. He was scheduled 1 week later and he actually looked forward to it. He went today and he's doing so much better, Dr Hurst told my husband that this would be his last visit & doesn't need to come back since he was doing so well. We paid for visits out of pocket because his insurance was difficult about us not updating our address but he had no problem paying private pay. They did all the paperwork to work with the insurance and gave us a copy of the receipts to get reimbursement. Very highly recommended if you are in pain! Do not delay, do your paperwork on line super quick easy and choose your appointment time at the same time. You will not regret it! Communication with the clinic in both phone/email/-and the app was a A+. Can't say enough good things about this place. read more
