Overall, the Indoor Field is all you should be going there for. The Admins are generally nice and willing to help. The staff manning the counter and quick and easy to talk to and get a long with. On the other hand, the shop has a few things going for it. The staff can come off as aggressive and very pushy ro get you to buy. Their prices are 1.5x-2x more expensive than MSRP or prices you can find on EVIKE or Amazon. I wouldn't exactly say they are beginner friendly, as I overheard them smart assing a 10-12 year old boy who was just asking about BBs. read more

Each time I came in, there was a sickeningly, strong smell of incense, the radio they had was blaring, and a couple of the employees acted like it was a big deal to come out of the back to help someone. The tall bearded guy, and the one with glasses was extremely helpful, each time I came in there. Their prices were way too high for what we are getting when we can get the same thing much cheaper online with shipping. I found a few guns that were $300 plus there, but online were only about $200. I know they have overhead, but that is almost price gouging. I'm sorry, but if I can get the same guns online for under half of the store, I'll buy it online. I checked out the field. HPA is only allowed on Weds. Which hurts since a lot of people want to run HPA. The bigger employee in the field treats people playing like idiots and fights with other employees. He spends 20 minutes on the safety briefing, which should only take a few minutes. He needs to be let go. They even shoot the kids just because they can. Their rental guns are terrible, when every other field uses much better rentals. The masks are uncomfortable and cheap. The price for the field is high since other fields let you play all day for about $40, where here, you pay $20 for only 3 hours. Would be better if you can pay $40, come in about 9am, and be able to play all day until about 5 or 6 pm. Even should be able to leave for an hour or so, get lunch, then continue your game for the day. I even hear that most of the players at the indoor go to other fields for their outdoor play since those fields have much more diverse gameplay and actual buildings. I know it's long winded, but Airsoft Tulsa seems to have the mentality that because they are the only place in Tulsa, they can only see players as money pits. indoor field is really good, but i found out talking to former employee at a game not to buy anything there they mark up their stuff like 124% or somthing insane like that, i also found out that they rig their guns you buy there to break, they had them rig them to break due to fact they are only place in tulsa area, went to new field called jct tactical, highly recommend btw, found out you can get kicked out of airsoft tulsa for talking about jct tactical or get picked on for having their patch on anything. def worth going to play indoor field but other than small purchases dont buy anything especially guns or expensive stuff here way cheaper and better refund policy online read more

Tried to order a few ICS Sig553 mid cap magazines from them a few years back which was advertised on there website as in stock at the time. They told me the listing on the website was wrong but they charged me and Emailed me an invoice. They contacted me via phone call and said the listing on the page was the wrong item and they were adamant about sending me something else that I did not want nor was it what I originally ordered. I proceed to email them the invoice and they told me I tried to comet fraud by falsifying an invoice blocked my number, and my email and they deleted my account on the web page. I've also tried to have my bank contact them about getting a refund but they also blocked my banks calls. Dude this place is the best. Fun for all kids over the age of ten I recommend for kids under 10 not to go because in some cases at the private matches there is some pretty good players. Nice community the people there are nice. One thing is I wouldn't recommend using there rental guns mask because they have a tendency to break and not perform as intended. I'm 12 years old and I have been going here for a year or so. But don't be worried if you don't have any equipment don't worry you just have to pay a little bit of money and there is a pro shop in the south side of the facility and it's nice. It ranges to ever thing in airsoft you may need. Make sure to always have your best attitude and good sportsmanship. Also go to there outdoor course in broken arrow. Airsoft is a growing hobby so make sure to tell your friends family members whoever because they will have practically one of the most fun thing you can do during the weekends. There also private matches you have to call them up and make a reservation. Also you can play nerf there. Also the have awesome birthday party fun you can do anything you want to do. Have had business dealings with airsoft Tulsa for a couple of years now, mainly through my sons purchasing items there and for birthday parties. The field is reasonably well run and seems safe. The retail store however is not. Recently purchased an expensive rifle and accessories for my son's birthday, and the battery failed in a few weeks. Refused to cover this under warranty/exchange/etc. The battery was used twice. I could have bought the items online cheaper but wanted to support a local business. I will not make that mistake again, and suggest others steer clear of them as well. read more

In short, overpriced items, super high cost for maintenance and warrantyd mean nothing at airsoft tulsa because they will still ask you to pay. I myself have had a somewhat decent experience with airsoft tulsa other then the high prices, but I'd like to point out a story of my friends experience here. My friend went here to fix his gun here and to upgrade his gun. Fixed the hop up, new motor, tracer unit, and barrel extension. It all costed about 300 dollars altogether. Took a week to do and once he got it, it had a week warranty. Well upon getting it, he had troubles with the motor and they blatantly lied about the rps to him. (They told him an aeg would get 50 rps. If i was there i wouldve slapped the guy who said that) the barrel extension was about an inch or two from what i saw and it costed 60 dollars... the tracer unit stopped working after about 50 bbs. Well him and i went back there and told him it was fine but he'd have to pull the trigger in a wierd way and that it was simply a defective lipo battery. He asked if they could just change out the motors and they told him it would cost another 50 dollar maintenance fee while the gun was still under warranty!?!? I ended up fixing the gun myself and the motor with relative ease. Overall just a horrible experience and at the very least they are giving him a new tracer unit. After all that. read more

Went there today for a 10 year old kids party. Couldn't tell who was an employee and who was a customer. Zero explanation or customer service. The lobby of gaming area smelled like a dead animal. Grown men yelling curse words when they got "shot" during the game. I had planned to leave my child there and literally did not feel like she was safe. Booked a birthday party in August for this weekend. My wife called last week and spoke to Shawn (sp?) seeing if the following weekend was available in case we needed to change date. He said no but the 16th is, my wife said that's fall break and wouldn't work. My wife called back today b/c we were going to add more people. They accidentally dropped our reservation and gave it to someone else. My wife asked for the manager, they said he would call within the hour. Nope. 3 hours later she called back, was told the owner and manager were in a meeting, your information is on the board and someone would call back, Nope. My wife called back at 5pm and they said sorry the owners now at the Fair I will have him call you. Nope! My wife called at 7:40pm and a lady helped get Matt to finally talk to my wife. My wife said this is your error, you double booked and no one will even talk to me about it?? It feels like you all are just trying to dodge me vs making this right, it's your error. Being that this is your error, you are the cause of all of this, what are you going to do to make it right? Matt said we can re-schedule you when we have an opening. My wife asked, is this going to be discounted? What are you doing since this is your error. Matt said no discount, just re-schedule. No Apology even offered for causing all this extra work, head ache and stress? Like they were afraid to say I'm sorry - extremely poor business and service. How simple a -- I'm so sorry for the stress WE have caused you, if you want to re-schedule we will do it for a discounted price or give you free extra ammo or something. Our good friends planned on booking their sons BDay party in late Oct there. Since all they seem to care about is money, they just lost even more? Amazing what a simply apology and strong Management can take care of. When we read the Yelp reviews before booking, we didn't take much into it, guess we should have. The prices for everything is embarrassingly high. Just for a simple mp7 it's $350 for the gun. All it took me was a few seconds to find one that is way better on Evike.com. And there are more options of the type of mp7. For one of the options you can get 2 extra co2 mags for only $10 more than the one on Airsoft Tulsas store. I just find it stupid that they overprice their guns that are sometimes not even that good. Another complaint about their store is that I was looking for a laser and found a laser that was $200! That is more expensive than the pistol I have and it's just for a laser. I understand they are trying to make money but overpricing almost everything is not the way to do it. If you want money find some other ways instead of whatever this is. I feel bad for some of the people who were just starting airsoft and weren't that educated and wasted all their money on this store just to find a better replica for $100 cheaper. I gave this company 2.5 solid years of my business as well as brought more players to there field bringing in more business for there company, and they banned HPA guns at the drop of a hat because of "safety reasons". They cut out a huge market of airsoft just because people don' like to use AEG's!? I have NEVER turned up my gun's FPS because I know its not safe to do so, I also only play on semi-automatic while everyone else plays on fully-automatic. 350 FPS is the limit and I always play on 330 just to be on the safe side. I hope Airsoft Tulsa can lift this ban. Banning HPA citing "safety" is just showing ignorance of how the systems actually work and is just a lazy approach to the situation. HPA's have the ability to lock the FPS at or below the safe limit. PLEASE AIRSOFT TULSA don't discriminate against your customers because the systems they chose to use isn't something you sell in your store. Further more...The OWNER of Airsoft Tulsa called me and told me "Until you remove your reviews you are banned from my fields" also he said "Stay the fuck off my fields" Then he hung on me before I could speak. Please don't treat your long term customers like this. Unfortunately I don't use AEG's so now my nearest indoor facility is 2 hours away. P.S. DO NOT take your guns here for service. Had a friend bring his $500 gun here for a simple trigger spring replacement and they broke the lower receiver, then refused to replace it. They also glued the selector plate to semi auto only because they lost the screws to the selector switch. read more

They called it an "even deal" yeah sure if you call a weak plastic shotgun with packaged deal: 4 shells each holding 30 rounds but we're so badly made the bb wouldn't even come out, a holster for those shells, a flashlight, and attachable sights then getting a shotgun of a better build with tiny sights so small that it's impossible to use and 1 single shell that holds 30 rounds at most. I honestly didn't want to make this post but every time I go over it in my head I can't help but feel I was disrespected and screwed over even after I've bought way over priced stuff before but convinced myself it was worth it. But NOT this time this was the final straw! I bought a gun that a friend and myself had to talk me into buying, to which looked nice at first but when I took it home to try it out the ammo wouldn't even load. I took it back within the week; they didn't even apologize for selling me a faulty piece of crap that broke trying load the ammo in. They said they couldn't give me a refund only store credit or another version of the gun. I did end up getting a better gun for the same price as the crap one but the fact that I bought a gun that was trash to getter a better gun and had to take a friend who knows way more than me about this stuff so I didn't get ripped off again is ridiculous to say the least. read more

It's not the people that work there, they've been helpful in talking to them about different things from quality of guns to troubleshooting issues I was having with my guns/gear. I really like the idea of buying local from a local company for a few reasons like instant gratification, and service. There seems to be an issue with any non-big-box retail store in any city/town. I had the same issue with a paintball store where I previously lived at. To make up for low traffic these sports seem to draw, they charge anywhere between 50-150% more for everything. I don't mind paying an up charge for what I just said, but these guys take it way too far. I was looking for a new rifle for the upcoming warm weather, and the one I settled on could be bought from various places online for $360, but this Airsoft Tulsa listed it for $500. It would seem as if they know they're the only or one of the only local places for airsoft, and they have no qualms with ripping everyone off. I don't know why. It's not just guns, it's literally everything. Battery charger? $20 everywhere else, here, 100% more at $40. I found some magazines I liked, and online they were $12 a piece, but Airsoft Tulsa wanted $25 for each one. I am not faulting them for trying to make a profit, but they take this way too far. This strategy was solid (but equally shitty) back in the 90's when we didn't have the internet like we do today. Man, I don't make a ton of money. Supporting local means nothing to me if they're going to rip people off. I'm going to turn to the place I can get the item cheaper at. Well after ordering a gun that was in stock on there website and waiting well over a month to get no notifications and having to call them to be told multiple times that it was shipped just to get a call to find out the gun is no longer made by said company and i would not be receiving it they then didnt really help me out with getting something else instead rather ask me to pay any extra shipping charges on the upgraded gun that was going to be stuck buying which was already marked 50 bucks above retail so after 2 months and multiple phone calls i get nothing but my refund i decided to just go to any other decent airsoft website because they will do alot more not to lose a customer ud think the biggest airsoft retailer in midwest could front a few dollars after making there customer wait close to 2 months with no notifications and making me have to call them just to get any word as to if going to be getting a gun read more

Overall it is a great place. I especially love the indoor airsoft. I have owned my airsoft guns since they opened. And my guns have spent more time in their shop than being at my home over 2 hours away. They felt justified by handscribbled notes on back of an invoice, than my proof that the $29.99 motor they were trying to recharge me ( my motor i brought in cause they told me it needed one and so they put ina motoe i bought a year ago and had a $29.99 sticker and was trying to charge $39.99. Now i will say the owner is great and has ben wonderful but the people i have dealt with lately seem to have, a well how do you say it politely as i was in CORPORATIONS WHO WAS INVESTIGATING Emblessment. That said. you get my point. After the owner said waive the labor as when we got it home 2 hours away it would not even shoot. So we took it back and as their hours are noon to whenever, we are at my hubby oncologist fitst thing in am. we bought my father in law one and he says dont give it back(ots plastic, mines metal) if they need help my hubby and owner get along great and can help but id the jerk that was there today is ever there again when i go in and he treats me as a stupid female he may find out this stupid female can handle herself and hurt him in seconds. These air soft guns are un stamped china imports built for a short 5 day life ... they are available on line for 1/3 the price they charge for them..but are worthless in a short time.. we had 2 in 10 days. Definitely go somewhere else, or even buy your gear online. They had a decent selection of metal airsoft guns, but most of them were nearly $300. I know those kinds of things tend to get pricey, but they really amp up the prices far beyond what they should. For example; they were selling an HK USP pistol for $75, however not only did I pick up the same gun at Academy for $60, you can also get it on Amazon for $50. I also noticed their vests are way too expensive as well, some of which you can get off of Amazon for $40 cheaper. Same goes for their goggles too. Not only that, but the guy behind the register was rather rude. The whole time I was in the store, he followed me around silently. I don't mind being checked up on every minute or so, but I really felt uncomfortable being stared at the entire time I was browsing. I did talk to him about the guns a bit, and he seemed very knowledgeable about his merchandise, but he was rather rude. I asked him if they had any guns that could be used with one hand and he responded that any of them could be used with one hand, and handed me a heavy, full metal MP5. It was nice and compact, but it was about $290 and way too heavy to actually use with one hand for long. I later on asked what their return policy was and he laughed and said "for what?" He then went on to say that I wasn't allowed to test the guns out and bring them back, which is obvious for any product from any store, and seemed to think that's what I intended to do, as that's all he said on that. Another associate had stepped out from the back room at this point and had to add that if they were defective, I could bring them back for in store credit, which I think is fair. All in all, avoid this store if at all possible. Their prices are sometimes twice what they are elsewhere, and their service could definitely be better. The downside of this is that they are the only airsoft-exclusive store I know of in Tulsa, so that's probably why they've gotten away with it for so long. I hate leaving this bad review, because their field is full of friendly admins and players, so its very strange and disappointing for me to see such a stark contrast between their two locations. read more
