After 20 yrs it was time to replace the furnace in our mobile. Nothing wrong, just preventive maintenance. We received 5 quotes from various installers ranging from $4,000 to $9,000 for a new one. Some came and looked at the job before quoting a price and 2 just quoted a figure. We decided to go with one that came and looked. A couple of installers said as a rule the chimney and flashing would be replaced without even knowing the condition of the existing one. One even said that the AC part would be replaced as well. The lowest quote came from Airtech. They didn't need to replace the chimney or AC cooling unit and even relocated our 2 wire thermostat system to a new location with a 4 wire system. The techs arrived exactly on time, replaced the furnace and were finished and out the door in under 3 hrs. They were very professional and extremely good at their job. Total cost with labour and GST was under 5K. Kudos to AIrtech and their installers. We would highly recommend their service to anyone looking to replace their unit. read more
