Called when i thought my A/C was no longer working and was told there was a charge of 1 hour of labour to diagnose the problem and propose solution. I agreed to that. Technician came, after an hour (much of which was spent telling me stories of other clients and problems they've had), said nothing was wrong, my A/C was working beautifully. I asked him a couple of questions as to why it might not have been working that day I called. He then went back down to basement for a couple of minutes to check something else and came back upstairs to say he's not sure what happened that day but all good now. He then shows me the bill, had 1.25 hours of labour on it! WTF? So I had nothing wrong and not only charges me a full hour, but adds 15 minutes because I asked him a question? Stay away from this business. They clearly nickel and dime and don't care about repeat business. Also, will charge for for the 30 minutes technician spends talking at length about things that have nothing to do with you. read more

Booked a service visit with them , the tec came and went up the building and did some work then left without checking if the work have been done properly in the unit or not , he left us with dropping cold temperatures and non working controller unit , we had to call them the same day to see if he actually came or not cause he didn't come inside and we didn't see him , they sent another tec to fix the controller that stopped working and he said that the first guy when he came to do the job restarted the unit which led to the resetting of the controllers and he fixed it this time , after that they send me a double invoicing one for 2 hours which the first guy only spent one hour in the premises and an additional one for the other guy whom came to finish the incomplete job the first one did . Called the office thinking that was an honest mistake from thier side , Chelsea over the phone was very unprofessional and dismissive and kept claiming that the guy came at 8 am and found no one which is not correct as our surveillance camera showes him driving in while we are open at 8:30 not as they were claiming and driving out at 10:30 with our office open . I am really disappointed with the level of service and over charging and double charging they wasted my time . read more

I had a technician of AirZone come to diagnose the water-leaking problem of my furnace. The furnace is less 10 years old, and has been serviced yearly by a maintenance technician from a reputable company. After examining the furnace for about one hour - most of the time he was running in and out of the house for making phone calls, the technician told me that the secondary heat exchanger of the furnace has cracks, and thus has caused water leaking. He also told me that the furnace is not in a good shape, and needs to be replaced with a new one. The technician issued a red tag to my furnace, and told me that he gave me 60 days to resolve the water-leaking problem caused by the cracked secondary heat exchanger. He charged me about $180.00 for his work. The technician also called a sales rep. in his company. The sales rep. came and gave me a quote for replacing my old furnace with a new furnace. His lowest quote price is well above $4,000. On the second day, I called another company for a second opinion about the red tag issued by AirZone's technician. A technician from that company came over to look at the issue. The technician did a thorough diagnosis of the problem, including opening up furnace to inspect the heat exchanger among other things. The heat exchanger is in a very good condition, and has no cracks. He told me that the actual problem is due to the water drain trap clogging, which has caused water backing up. The second technician (not from AirZone) came back on another day to replace the cracked collar, and did a full maintenance and combustion test to the furnace, and also cleared the red tag. I paid about $360 for his work. The red tag has been issued by AirZone's technician with a wrong diagnosis, and with an intention of selling me a new furnace. I have requested a refund from AirZone for their wrong diagnosis. However, AirZone refused to do so. read more

We requested a quote from this company to install an air conditioner for our home. The representative was very polite and seemed professional. He only inspected the furnace room for 5 minutes or less and he said he could install the air conditioner in our space no problem and that he would get back to us shortly with a quote. Two weeks later, he never got back to us, which I understand it would be a difficult installation but at least tell us that up front so we can at least keep looking for other companies that will actually help us. read more

Buyer Beware! Gave AirZone a try in installing a new hot water heater, and inspecting our A/C system. They messed up both jobs, and worse of all didn't test for, what was later confirmed as a leak in the refrigerant line, potentially exposing our family to refrigerant. Their 100% guarantee is not backed up since we never received a refund for an incompetent A/C inspection. I was convinced by their low prices, online reviews, and promise of customer service.
