No real value added from attending this beyond what you can…read morejust look up online or ask ChatGPT (or probably just get a Bartending 101 recipes handbook for $10 on Amazon; since the only valuable thing was the brief guide on some different terms and recipes) The coolest saving grace was that the room actually resembles a bar area, so you can get somewhat of a feel for it if you've never been back there, but outside of that I feel like I just wasted a bunch of money and time. The instructor was extremely nice and a pleasure to chat with, but there is no course curriculum. It's just speed reading word for word what is in the little booklet, some memorization, and a written exam. I was able to do the whole thing in one session essentially (each session only took 30 minutes - 1 hour to read through, and once I realized there was no learning, just reading and memorizing, I just read the rest and took the exam). My hope was it could at least help connect me to a bar or place I could get some part time hands on experience as is promoted, but it just gives you the login to a website with a bunch of peoples phone numbers or email addresses or job pages at restaurants to apply to. No special in that I though was the connections I was paying for. Also doesn't give you the approved state on-premise or off-premise pouring safety credential so really there was unfortunately nothing beneficial that came out of taking this. It's a cool concept, but this needs a lot of work and enhancements to make it something worth $300. I would've rather taken a mixology class to learn pouring and mixing techniques, or something that takes you to an actual bar to apprentice or something.
