She respected my time frame and was efficient and clear in her quote. I accepted the quote, and they were already booked for the season, and so let me know I would be on the list for spring. I contacted them last week to ask for a timeframe for scheduling. I received a call on Thursday afternoon, and they scheduled me for today, Monday of the following week. The installers came out this morning and I now have brand new gutters. The person I talked to on the phone was very knowledgable. My husband had requested a hooded gutter, and the representative showed me what a screened gutter looked like. He told me that hooded gutters in an area with a heavy snowfall encourage ice dams and are easily damaged, and gutter screens work much better for our climate. The installer were polite. They rang the doorbell to let us know they had arrived, and began their work. At the end of the install, they rang the doorbell again to let me know that they were done and to collect payment. I really hate writing bad reviews... but I had a horrible experience with AK Peak Services…read more Their website states they "We get it right the first time". Well I have to disagree. Andrew Cummings came to my house on May 22nd and said he could do the job right then. So I hired him. The Job he did was horrendous, he took my gutter off the original flashing and attached it to the tips of the facia boards (which he cracked with the giant gutter nails). He then used caulk to "repair" the facia boards. It was a hot mess. I called him immediately to come fix is "job". Said he would come on May 24. NO SHOW. May 25: NO SHOW May 28: NO SHOW May 29: NO SHOW May30th: NO SHOW May 31st: NO SHOW ON EACH OF THESE DAYS HE PROMISED HE WOULD COME OUT TO FIX MY GUTTERS. HE SAID HE REALLY WANTED TO MAKE IT RIGHT FOR ME. I called him from June 1 until the 4th; No response, ghosting me now. Had to hire another company to fix his mess! MY ADVISE TO YOU IF YOU NEED GUTTER WORK IS TO GO WITH SPIT SHINE IF YOU WANT THE "JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!"

On the not so good side. Field employees performing the work were less than professional and I would not say journeymen trade skills. They randomly showed up at house unannounced. Did not check in upon arrival or when they left For day or completed the work. Their design, installation and quality of workmanship very substandard. First rain showed a couple of spots no silicon or sealed corners at down spouts with leaks. Day after job completed. Initially, when we were discussing the job We requested the possibility of yanking off Christmas lights on Faccia boards and simply tossing on ground below since they were there. They stated there would be a nail removal and upcharge fee added to estimate for this request. I spoke to the manager of the company after his guys "finished job and left with a ridiculous final configuration of downspouts which posed a tripping hazard for young children and an eyesore and "who did this job?" To anyone that would observe it and there final product leaked! I would NOT refer or recommend these folks to anyone and there lack of communication and lack of professionalism puts you in dilemma so Iso I settle and save a few dollars OR pay a bit more and get a professional completed job by a company who takes pride other workmanship and commitment to customer service. I cannot promote This company to provide gutters repair or replacement! UPDATE. 05/09/2026. The owner reached out to explain his side of story. I would advise future prospective clients ask for referrals to their past customers to see their finished work and have a chat with folks that have contracted them to perform work. If. I were to include pictures. You too would see that this gutter downspout is NOT under deck. It passes for 10 or 15 feet away from house at knee to shin height cutting off all access to under deck and all who look at it. Will go wow what's up with that?
