Then never heard anything. I reached out again three weeks late, no response. I just reached out to her yesterday to again, close the file. She replied back via text that the file was still not closed and she wanted more money to do so. When I asked very simple questions, she became very rude and said she "quit" and I should hire another attorney. I finally had a call today with her after 18 months and she was condescending and very rude. She offers no customer service, a negative attitude and lack of response to people who are already going through a difficult time. She has a horrible work ethic and attitude. I paid a $10,000 retainer to begin working with the firm. During the first couple of weeks, they repeatedly misspelled my name and there seemed to be confusion internally about who was responsible for different parts of my case. I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic things moving. Communication throughout the process was frustrating. Different members of the team appeared to have different understandings of what was happening in my case, and I often felt like I had to repeat information several times. I kept extremely organized documentation and provided everything they asked for, but progress still felt slow and disorganized. Another issue was how communication was handled from a billing standpoint. Many emails came back filled with legal jargon that was difficult to understand, which meant I had to reply asking for clarification. Each of those back-and-forth responses was billed time. When we eventually went to court, I was disappointed with how the hearing went and how unprepared my attorney appeared. Afterward I was told the outcome wasn't what they expected. That particular process alone cost around $6,000. By the time everything was finished, about $20,000 had been billed and my situation was actually worse than when I started. My advice to anyone considering this firm would be to ask very detailed questions about communication, preparation, and expected costs before signing a retainer.

My issue with this company is they allowed an attorney to fail my accident case. I sent in paperwork that the employer sent to me regarding medical payments to be reimbursed. On line 2 of this paperwork, it stated that I was unable to bring a claim against the company, its affiliates or partners. Emery Reddys representing attorney BF said it would be safe to sign. A attorney !! Needless to say he within 2 months went to work for the opposing team, at first taking my case with him. Then because of the position he was in representing the company I had to find a NEW lawyer within 30 days. Signing this paperwork was the demise of the case. I felt in my heart it would be wrong to sign yet felt my attorney BF was able to give me great defense. At least so I thought. I was sidelined by him quitting Emery Reddy and going to work for ETC another large firm in Seattle representing the company, I in all terms, lost what my case was worth and I suffer 24/7 from the injury. if the advice was don't sign. This paperwork should not have been signed period and that was the company's win and BF made sure of that to shine for himself and NOT take care of the injured worker.
